Cassie has adopted her 101st Webkinz and would like to host a pet code giveaway!
This will be a running giveaway, so you can comment on any post between now & July 15 to enter the contest, just make sure you follow these instructions for your entry to count. Cassie’s contest will have 3 winners!
Here’s how to enter:

awww – thanks for asking – my kitties are so sweet – they are getting big so fast!
they have not had any total destruction, but i have to keep an eye out from climbing or chewing houseplants, getting into things – they’re both teething, so i have to redirect some chewing & sharpening claws, but so far, so good
it is a lot like having toddlers – their stuff is everywhere, I have to keep an eye on them that they don’t get hurt or destroy the house, etc.
but they cuddle me & purr & i’m a sucker for them . . .

my first pet was a hummingbird and my latest was a farmhouse kitten which was a gift from an extremely generous friend
she was so special that i named her fraulein and put her on my original acct which is all german oriented things……….
for the newbies…………..i finished my degree on this blog and they all had to listen to me moan and groan about it………….so yes i was a coed when i started gymbos

My first Webkinz was the Spotted Leopard. My DS bought him for me so I could have my own account. 🙂 I am not sure how many I have now. I’m almost afraid to count. That was in 2008………..Back when our kids were kids.

Cassie 101 Entry
My first pet back in 2007 was a polar bear and I named her Mocha. My most recent adoption was a White Cosmic Wolf and I named her Whitney. Back when codes were bought with a physical plush, I would keep track of the adoption by writing all the adoption certificate information on a piece of paper and storing it with the code in a plastic bag (and I still have the bag). Haven’t made it to 101 pets yet, quite far away. Have a few unadopted pets as I like to really spread out the adoptions.

Cassie.. congrats of the adoption of your 101st pet ! and for hosting the giveaway ! My first Webkinz was a Dalmatian…but one of my most treasured webkinz is a Sweet Tooth Tiger which apparently was given out to employees at ganz years ago… was able to get a code on ? ebay… probably spent more than I should have but I’m happy that I Finally Got One .. which is what I named it.
dee… my niece’s father and his girlfriend are driving her out to WA..She never learned to drive a highway so her job is to take care of her two kitties on the trip… Received a picture last night from my sister showing them in a cat cage which I guess they had to stop and buy along the way !! Can’t believe they were only in Chicago at 8ish last night…hoping to get to Minnesota … before switching drivers… Your apple crumb pie sounds delicious !!

Spoke to my brother in GA yesterday.. very concerned about his aging Chocolate Lab… she has been having worsening mobility issues and yesterday was having trouble standing on her hind legs..I fear the time is coming for some decisions to be made. I know you are very aware of the heart break which goes along with making those kinds of decisions..
Usual Saturday errands today but weather is beautiful … and most days I like to be busy !
Sheba… the local eaglets have all finally learned to fly… nest is empty for another year !

otis is sweet & cuddly & playful, but he pretty much likes everyone – she is not as outgoing – more “cat” like – he is definitely the more friendly – love love love cuddling him & rubbing his belly ♥

Just peeking in so I will have to catch up on everyone’s comments later! It turns out that I have quite a bit of company arriving today! I knew about my dd & her family coming this weekend; but just found out about my one son, wife & new baby son coming for a couple of nights. My other dd went to visit her brother in another city for the weekend, and I have zero help. I really was wishing that I had a maid today! Anyway, my other son & wife and new baby girl are coming for dinner. If I have confused you, I’m sorry. I have 5 kiddos (all grown up).
First WW pet: Elephant and the last one that I adopted was a Holiday Husky (this past May). Since I have several accounts that I adopt on I’m not sure if I have 101 pets yet or not. But I know that I do not have that many on my first account. I keep track of all of my adoptions in a notebook that is starting to fall apart. I could say more….but I need to clean a couple of bathrooms! 😉

funny about the bags of codes, i was purging and found dds acct of pets.
i will take a pic and maybe moms will put on here………..LOTS
how do you know how many you have? other than counting them?
i know over the realm…………there are hundreds………
dh is cooking ribs and it smells absolutely fabulous………….i want some!
but i do not like ribs…….just that whole gnawing off a bone thing and the fact you have to work so hard to get a bit of food………
and he wants greens, so looks like i will be cookingsome up nextweek. mmmmm they are good………….but then you need cornbread and beans and a meat…………ha haha ha ha ha ha ha
and the pasta orzo salad is good……….that champagne vinegar is extremely mild, so do not expect a pickling taste………i did NOT put chickpeas in as i am not a big fan of whole chickpeas…………but it is good and fresh and prolly healthy as heck ifyou can push it on your french fry people

my 1st pet was a lil gold & white cat – the kiddos got me playing on their accounts to earn them kinzcash, then i got my 1st webkinz for Christmas 2007 to start my own account – i named it Sherbert, and they picked it for me because looked like our real pet cat at the time
i do not keep track of every adoption because we have collected way too many webkinz on way too many accounts over the years
my most recent adoption was the POTM basset hound – I named him Toby from the name of Sherlock Holmes’s basset hound in the Disney movie The Great Mouse Detective

Hello! It’s been a while.
You don’t have to include me in the contest because I only play on and off, but I thought I’d share anyway. My first Webkinz was a raccoon named Raccy. I still have the plush, but she has clearly seen better days. I never kept track of adoptions because I adopted a lot over the years. Not sure the exact number, but probably around 150 total.
A little update on life and stuff – I’m moving soon! I’ll be attending grad school in Indiana and I’m very excited. Not all that thrilled with living in Indiana but the school I picked is offering the most funding so oh well. I’ll be there for 2 years and then I’ll probably move for my internship, maybe to a warmer state.
And for the most important update – I GOT A CAT! I though I would have to wait until after I moved to get one, but since my parents spend most of their time at the farm, they said I could get one now. He’s about a year and a half old and he’s super cuddly and affectionate. I’ll have to share a picture later because he’s adorable. So now I have a friend who will be with me when I move.

Choco.. congrats on your grad school acceptance and your move… Happy you were able to get a cat who who be travelling with you.. Maybe he we help you to be less homesick until you get settled.
moms.. have a few lemon boxes to open and will send you a hamper if I am luck enough to get one ! I was not lucky enough to get the grasshopper hat from the clothing bags.. despite buying quite a few… not sure if I well keep trying but really like that hat !

Cassie, congratulations on your 101st pet adoption! I can’t tell you how much I relate to your “I was a dumb kid” thing! Someone somehow hacked my account and I guess sent the PSI for my first ever Webkinz pet to themselves, and then I stupidly traded away the PSI for my second and third ever Webkinz pets in the Trading Room! Years later, I was able to “replace” those PSI with the help of some nice friends, but it still kind of makes me sad that they aren’t MY PETS’ exact PSI that they came with, you know?
I think I told this story a little while after joining the blog, but my first ever Webkinz was a bat, and I had no clue about Webkinz until I won my bat in a raffle, ironically enough! The last pet I adopted was in April, but I can’t remember off the top of my head what it was… I have 157 pets on my largest account, but I don’t know who my 101st adoption was. My memory isn’t that great, so I have a Google Document with all of my pets’ names and date of adoption for my oldest account. My other accounts are fairly small, so I don’t really need to do that with those. Oh, and for anyone wondering how you find out how many pets you have… Sometimes when the Webkinz app loads, there will be a little box with ‘a number’/’a number’ overtop a loading bar. Those are your pets!!!
So, I guess since I took the time to type all that I will enter the contest… Cassie 101 Entry!

Choco.. my friend and coworker has three chickens which she has named and although I don’t think she is supposed to have them the city has closed their eyes . She will occasionally bring in fresh eggs for us from ” the girls”.
moms.. still no word from the cross country traveler.. She is supposed to start her new job tomorrow…not to mention unloading u haul and getting her apartment set up…Hopefully will hear something today… Going to introduce the new caregiver to my mom…Hope it goes well.. as she is supposed to start tomorrow..

Good morning! I try to catch up on the weekends, but it’s been touch and go the last few weeks … all 3 kids home from college. It usually gets easier during the summers, but I’ve gotten used to empty nesting, so dishes and laundry are back in full force.
I owe many of you thank yous for the wish list items over the past month (Cassie, QoS, LL, Wophy, and I think several others). I try to send a WW thank you, but I should do it here, too. You all have been so kind to share with me! I’ve been searching through your wish lists, as well … Cassie, I didn’t realize yours went on for several pages, so I only sent items from the first pages. But I think I have some other items for you. I’ll check! LL, I love all of the food you are finding … thanks for the help with mine!
We are still remodeling, but are taking a break for the summer with everyone home. I’ve been working on customizing my closet (I know, weird, but for some reason, when the closet is organized, I feel better than if the room is straightened … go figure). Besides, I lost 2 ft of space due to expanding the bathroom, so I have to be extra organized now.
I’ve also taken up crocheting recently (French pronunciation, not American 😉 ). I had learned a few stitches as a teenager from my aunt, and wanted to try something for the summer. So I signed up with Annie’s Kit Clubs, and every month they send you yarn, patterns, and YouTube videos to make three squares of a quilt/afghan. I have surprisingly been loving it.
However, after the power tools and now crocheting, my carpel tunnel is really acting up. Going to have to come up with a solution, because I am not giving up that much of my life.
I am still playing Webkinz regularly … usually about 10 minutes every morning, but a little longer on Saturday mornings or holidays (yay! 4th!). So feel free to send me marshmallow requests. I’ll send them!
So sorry about your car situation, LL! We are trying to help the kids find one … super difficult right now everywhere.
I got rid of my crockpot like that, dee, because I didn’t use it a ton and thought it was outdated. Regretted it immediately, as the new ones don’t really have a “low” setting. I’m afraid it was the catalyst that will turn me into a hoarder. Jury is still out.
I love catching up with all of you, even though I don’t comment as much as I’d like. I’ll post my Webkinz story later, if I have a chance to get back on my computer. The kids like taking it over to play Minecraft … they are apparently building something amazing! 🙂
