   Thank you to everyone for your sympathetic comments on the loss of one of my animal babies a few weeks ago… She was not a rescue since we got her at a pet store, but if you consider the living conditions she had while at the pet store she kind of was… We were lucky to have her for so long. My remaining babies are all rescues, though. My sweet girl who had to go to vet and get medicine is still not out of the woods yet. I worry about her constantly. I think the medicine the vet prescribed (which wasn’t technically meant for her species) may have actually made her WORSE. She seems to be having mobility issues which is really frightening to me!!! To make matters worse, the initial issue we went to the vet for is still unresolved… I don’t know what to do. I’ve been following my gut and doing everything I can to try and get her better but it just doesn’t feel like enough. She is a lot less lethargic which is a good sign, but we’ve still got a long way to go to get her (hopefully) fully recovered.

   Chant, thank you for sharing your story about your kitty and the Temptation Treats! How scary that a popular and recognizable brand of treats was making your kitty sick!! Thankfully, I can easily rule that out as those treats aren’t something we ever buy!

   Okay, before I go and start trying to tackle all the new events in Webkinz World, can I ask… If we have to make to do lists to keep track of all the events and activities going on in Webkinz, doesn’t that mean there are too many??? I feel like since the COVID-19 pandemic, the Webkinz team has just been overwhelming us with so many challenges, click-to-wins, floaties, special events, etc. and I for one know I spend way more time than I’d like trying to do everything and just keep up!! I know the Webkinz team is probably trying to keep things fresh and interesting for all of the college students who played Webkinz as a kid and then suddenly rediscovered Webkinz during the pandemic, but it feels like too much for me! Anyone else??

    Otter – I feel the same way. It is so hard to keep up with it all! Now I’m regretting allowing my pets to eat food in my dock! (Stuff that food collectors value and now the daisy doe stuff! I have a lot of the daisy doe stuff, but there are some items that I need). One more visit on my list….Clubhouse for diner items, and e-store room for dispenser foods ….which I am collecting for those that collect. LOL!) I often forget to go to the Clubhouse, though.

    And to the park! I usually try to get one of each item and then chill. (Unless there are more of something that I want). The marshmallow collection events….at least they alternate months on this!

    LL – I wish you could just work from home! How frustrating to go through all of that! Do you live close enough to walk?

    LL – I have 10 accounts that I manage. Some of them belong to family members which I collect things for them and for my account. Some of them are free and I rotate adopting pets on them. I purposely have chosen to have some of them free because otherwise I try to do everything on ALL accounts, so it is nice to have some that don’t have full privileges. SO, the account that I’m going to start going through has been free since 2017 so it was long overdue to have an adopted pet. I am hoping that I can find more food items. Since I haven’t been a food collector I haven’t been careful and use to feed my pets things in the dock just to reduce my dock. But sometimes I find things hidden away in fridges. I didn’t really collect anything until four or five years ago. And I have only been Deluxe for 2 1/2 years or maybe it is 3 1/2 years.

    Oh…I started playing Webkinz the summer of 2007. I opened my own account around Christmas of the same year. I didn’t realize the comprehensiveness of Webkinz, at that time. You know, all the collections & things. Ha ha!

    we sold BIL my old car that had around that mileage wise. but it had no rust or whatnot and dh is diligent about maintenance…………BIL lives in MI which is a pretty rusty state……….he just resold the dang thing for 2500 dollars more than he bought it from us for…………..yeah
    can you access those edmunds or carguru sites? i liked you could put in your price and distance and bump it against what you want……….we almost drove a couple hundred miles to look at a car……………..but used cars down here now are cray cray since they can not produce the new ones due to the chip shortage. because no one makes chips???

    Q of S- It’s actually decently close but I would have to cross the highway and to get to a safe place to cross would probably make the walk much longer. It’s not like I’ve asked if I could keep working from home until I find a car, but when I explained the situation so I could stay home for one extra day they didn’t even seem to care, more so that they were annoyed I couldn’t come in anymore. Hence probably why I got an apology message the next morning. I do have a plan in place to get there, but like I said it would just be more convenient to stay at home.

    When I was actively playing webkinz I kept everything, so luckily I have a good chunk of older foods. But foods from 3-4 years ago I don’t have cause I wouldn’t have been playing then. I wish you had stuff on your WL I had. You’ve been so generous to me. ♥

    Dee- The specific car I was looking at actually was a Toyota. It’s hard to say what condition the car is in since the dealer just put up stock photos. The car is also two hours away. So I’m still trying to decide if I would be interested enough to travel that far. Of course I would contact the dealer to get some real photos and information before I do. Also yes Dee, just get him to fly up here and help me, haha.

    A new car just came up for sale 2015 28,000km. Much better a little more expensive, but I think it may be worth it. This one is also two hours away… Why is there nothing good in town??

    LL – No need to feel that you need to gift me! I just have plenty of items on your list (or I have….I hope to find more). I list what I send on here because I’m not always good about keeping track about what I send.

    Did everyone remember to send in their bird count on WKN for the birdwatching contest? I tried to keep up with it, but I might have missed some.

    Any special plans for the 4th of July weekend? The place we usually go to see fireworks cancelled for this year. But we have family coming in and will have a mini-reunion on Monday with whoever can make it. I have an idea that my youngest son will be working. 🙁 But my other kiddos should be there including the grands.

    ll.. my last three vehicles have been Toyotas… dependable … reliable .. and good resale ! Good luck finding just the right car !
    moms.. thanks for posting the link for WKN condiment prize… didn’t even realize that there was one ! My niece left for long drive to Seattle this morning… Praying for a safe uneventful trip…My brother and I decided to hire one of the two women we interviewed… however.. she is very chatty and a bit too loud.. brother tactfully had to tell her that to try and tone it down ! Hope she wasn’t offended… Will meet her at my mom’s to introduce her and show her the ropes !
    The big plus is that she seems to have a very flexible schedule … retired social worker…not in it for the money…. after the interview she climbed into her new shiny Mercedes SUV !! We’ll see how it works out..
    Sheba.. hope you have a nice family get together on Monday.. and that the weather cooperates !
    dee.. I am not sure where to find the cow on WKN either… moms made it easy

    My first car was a Toyota! Stick Shift. I did not know how to drive it off the lot. LOL! Someone drove it for me and then my dad’s friends gave me lessons on how to drive stick shift. Ha ha! It was the only car I ever bought brand new and it did NOT have A/C in it. Could not afford the perks.

    Very glad for the “to do” list! I think it is the only way to get through my accounts quickly!

    If the weather doesn’t cooperate…not sure what we will do. We are supposed to go to brother-in-law’s cabin in another town, but it would not work well inside if it rains. The location would have to change to our house….SOO…..maybe I better straighten it up just in case!

    hey all
    the card game is game of day on sunday…………it is the one for deluxe challenge

    i have been chopping and boiling all day!
    everything just needs to be assembled which i will do tomorrow so that it can “set” til sunday………..gonna do my crumb top apple pie tomorrow too, so there is still that chopping, but that is easy
    moved some plants over to main garden as they finally got big enough. not a lot in the garden this year……tomatoes, jalapenoes and green peppers and cukes. there is a stray zucchini that popped up from last year, so we will let it ride…………
