Gaga – I wish I had some items on your wish list, but I don’t! I’m just doing what I can! And you don’t know how surprised I was to find those purple grapes for Boper!
DRUMROLL, please! The baby boy is here! He was born early this morning, June 4th! I am in heaven! Everyone is doing well! The new parents are beaming despite their tiredness! He was almost 9 pounds! And his birth weight matched my son’s birth weight exactly! I am hoping to see him on Sunday, but if not we have a visit planned in two weeks. No visits in the hospital right now.

Sheba… Congrats on your new grandson ! Happy to hear that all went well and mom and baby are doing well ! He was a pretty big boy !
moms .. Happy birthday to your mom ! Thanks for posting all of the new updates and prizes… Looking forward to berry fest ! Love the new prizes for the fest .
Had a great time in Amish yesterday.. Weather was picture perfect… We have been going there for many years and each time we go I look in one particular shop for a quilt for my bed… and each time I say .. nothing spoke to me !
Yesterday I found the most beautiful quilt… I knew immediately that I had to have it…We talked about it over lunch and ended going back to buy it !
Hand stitched… colors and pattern just what I have been looking for ! Most memorable trip to Amish ! Few more boards stained on the deck but certainly no where near being finished ! What the heck … today predicted to be in the 90’s… Not best day to be continuing the project…Trying not to get to upset but anxious to get furniture from my mom’s garage and enjoy sitting outside !
dee… looking for some inspiration on menu for tomorrow… Kind of tired of everything… any ideas ? We are all very basic eaters !

Too late for tomorrow but I will mention it to see if anyone has preference…
I would choose beef…mushrooms ..peppers .. mushrooms and onion… Am I missing anything ?
moms… it is not exactly Americana but similar…. a complete change in my present color scheme…Could this be the beginning of reno ??? Probably not but it sure would be fun….

No deck man yesterday ! Not sure what the heck he is waiting for but getting a little agitated ! Today 90… Not the best day to stain a deck… and I guess it IS Sunday…
Sheba… how are the new parents/baby doing ? Hopefully they are home and settling in !
moms.. thanks for the suggestions… Do you normally marinate anything before you grill it ?

Looking forward to getting together with the “gang” today… My sister is anxiously awaiting news about new job.. She has worked as a temporary for two years ( No benefits ) and recently job was posted to hire someone !
My niece still on job search… Had second interview last week and awaiting news…( Washington state ) So far away but she has a couple of friends in the area….

you can marinate in terryaki or italian dressing, or just rub it with spices
grilled pineapple is good, zucchini or little potatoes
i would precook the potatoes til almost done…..i used baby yukons once. the ping pong ball size. steamed them, split them and put them on skewere just to get some char………..dh puts all the veggies on same skewer and meat on separate so no overcooking.
now i want kebabs
spices could be jerk, greek………bbq………….or do a medley

dee.. thanks for the kebob tips ! I have not heard of a spice called jerk but am going to google it …. To answer your question… The new prize in the spree game is an actual vehicle… just chose one this morning and put it in my room.

dee – ditto all of your seasoning & marinating ideas – if using chicken – we like to brine it & yes, i like doing veggie skewers & meat skewers separately – ditto just salt & pepper, cajun or jerk seasoning, italian dressing, etc. if doing steak, dales seasoning sauce is tasty too
