Plus I have to vent about the 10 dollar mystery bags..first…I LOVE the octopus theme…2nd…it would cost 80 bucks to get it all…IF you’d be guaranteed to get a piece in each bag…which your not…so yeah..im passing…that’s just crazy..itmt is what it is, but I’ll not be buying.

This is my last week teaching before summer break. One more class to go on Friday. I’m going to miss the kiddos! My classes today were awesome, especially the last one. Many of my students go way above my expectations. I have taught the one girl for four years and she is moving on. But she shared some of her favorite things over the four years and it really blessed me. ♥

moms.. Hope all is well with your mom.. we are trying to replace two caregivers. One has turning in her notice and her last day is today… and the women who fx her patella is questionable… My brother has set up an interview on Friday with possible replacement.. We’ll see how it goes.
My boss returns tomorrow.. I have had two great weeks of peace and quiet !

No AC at our house today…so I’m hanging out in the basement.
I am glad that they are giving us 2 weeks for challenges. I stink at the rally arcade game! Are the prizes new for that? I don’t remember them.
Gaga – Glad you had two weeks of peace & quiet at work. And sorry about the caregiver situation for your mom. I hope you are able to find a good replacement!
I’m evaluating my Jumbleberry prizes & spree prizes. If I would play everyday I probably would have everything. And I think that I have most everything with JF. But I’m touch & go with Spree! LOL! I was able to knock some things off of my wish list today. I really want to work on it more, but dh is home and I need to get RL work done.
Question – Do you all collect prizes that you don’t like just for the sake of wanting to have at least one of everything? Just curious!

I went through my master list of PSFs and went back and added ones that weren’t on there. An additional 30 or so, but once I collect those that will be it and I will have them ALL. I’m so close!
Q of S- Yes, I don’t know why I feel the need to have one of EVERYTHING. It could be in case it becomes extremely rare then I can say I have it.

Okay, I just heard that nothing is retiring from Spree (whew!), but some new items are being added and some items that we may already have acquired through other events.
Also, two things are retiring from Jumbleberry Fields: Jam Maker’s Sink & Moonberry Pantry. Six new things are being added.
There is more info from the podkinz, but I’m sure there will be a post about all of this! I am so glad that they gave this info ahead of time. One week’s notice is better than none!

Sorry for not checking in for a little while! My big “talks” with people went well and everyone seems to be respecting the boundaries I laid down for these next few weeks… I have only received ONE text message from one of the three people who had been constantly texting me for favors day in and day out, and it has been sooo nice. Don’t get me wrong, I like being the person who helps everyone out, but it just got to that point where it was too much, too often. I need this break to breathe and let go of some of these feelings of resentment and frustration that were starting to build… Not to mention, I’ve literally been falling apart over here!! I have been to see two different doctor specialists in the last few weeks, which is weird for me because I hardly go to the doctor anymore if I can help it, and I am currently on 4 prescription medications and one supplement to help with issues with my ears, back, and leg. I also had to take my 1 and half-ish year old baby to the vet on Wednesday for the very first time and she did NOT like it AT ALL!!! She was not shy about giving the vet some attitude when he tried to handle her! I think she is still somewhat upset with me that I let some stranger hold her, lol… The vet ended up giving her some medicine, too. It has to be applied every other day, so I guess we’ll see how that goes later today when I have to apply it myself for the first time! On top of all that, my family has been dealing with getting ready for/helping my brother move across several states. He has never lived far from me for my entire life, so this is going to be a HUGE change.
Despite not commenting on here, I have been trying to check in every day for a few minutes to catch up on comments…..
littleleaf, I am SO sorry about your car accident!! BUT I am also so glad that your car took the brunt of the damage and not YOU!!! My brother got into an accident like that on the first day of a new job, and I can’t tell you how grateful I am that we had to let go of the car and not my brother. I can’t even imagine where I would be or what state of mind I would be in now if that had happened… I hope you are able to get everything sorted out and resolved soon! Please know I have been thinking of you!!
moms, I know you have been freaking out about getting your new little kitties… But I think Dolly and Otis are EXACTLY where they are supposed to be!! They are filling the time and space that you’d otherwise be thinking about your beloved pup Millie and being sad. Raising kitties is definitely going to be a lot, but I think we both know you’ve already fallen in love with them… 😉
Queen of Sheba, eagerly awaiting news about your grandbabies! And, YES, I absolutely have to collect all of the prizes even if I don’t necessarily care for them because, oddly enough, those prizes sometimes end up being the ones that perfectly complete rooms in my Webkinz home!! You never know what might be that perfect finishing touch!
That’s all I can remember that I wanted to comment on right now… I actually started this post at dinner time yesterday (Thursday) and specifically came here to post about the retiring Jumbleberry Fields prizes, but I just refreshed the page figuring there would be new comments, and it seems Queen of Sheba beat me to it!
I still have some things I need to do, but I also really need to go to BED!!!! Funny, as gaga is probably just now getting UP for the day!

gaga, I have MAJOR Covid-related anxiety more so NOW than when the pandemic first started… I know it’s something I’m going to have to eventually get over, but it’s nice to know that I’m not the only one coping with anxiety right now while everyone else seems to be enjoying their newfound “freedom” (including those who aren’t vaccinated but no longer feel the need to wear mask, social distance, etc.!!).

Almost a week after the accident the other person’s insurance company finally called me yesterday. I don’t know what took so long as it seems they had also already reported the accident. I was offered a rental car in the meantime, but ended up declining because they wanted ME to fork out the money for a deposit. Amongst other reasons I thought it would be more of a hassle than it was worth especially since I don’t drive much these days still working from home. Still have no idea from the insurance company if they are going to pay for repairs (I say it’s still really unlikely) or pay me and write off the car. Also I don’t think I’ve mentioned, but I have an appointment at the police to discuss the accident further. I’ve also already began my search for a new car. I found one that seemed pretty promising and a good price, but it didn’t have air conditioning.

FYI – No AC in my van….2nd summer now. 🙁 No plan to fix it at this time. And especially not now….Our home AC just quit! $$$$$$$$ And just after we replaced ALL of our windows! Just got the diagnosis today that we need a new system. So the home will be priority!

My old car had AC but I had been driving it for the past two summers without it working. With the short trips I usually make its bearable, but definitely not ideal.
