Newz Week
Newz Week runs Monday, April 26 – Sunday, May 2 on Webkinz Classic!
On Monday, April 26, you’ll have to access the Newz Room at the Clubhouse where you can click on Ella McWoof to get one of four Newz team plushies every day: Michael Webkinz, Steve Webkinz, Mandy Webkinz and Sally Webkinz:
There will also be a special challenge available during Newz Week. On April 26, click on the Newz Week Challenge icon on the left side of your screen to review your tasks.
There are 3 tasks you’ll need to complete by midnight, Sunday, May 2 (EST), to complete your challenge:
- Feed your pet 4 cans of Fizzy Newz Soda
- Earn 150 KinzCash playing Color Storm at the Games Arcade
- Add a Newz Team plushy to your pet’s room
You will need to feed your pet 4 cans of Fizzy Newz Soda to complete the challenge, and you’ll only be able to find them at webkinznewz.com. From April 26 – May 2, look for the daily floating Webkinz Newz Soda can and click on it to send it back to your account. Drag a can of Fizzy Newz Soda onto your Webkinz to feed your pet.
Players who manage to complete the Newz Week Challenge by midnight, Sunday, May 2 will win the Ella McWoof Plushy & Webkinz Newz Chair!

As far as games go, my husband and I like to play Backgammon, Rack-O, Battleship & Golf (a game we play with Skip-Bo cards). We played Sushi-Go and Azul with the kiddos this weekend. The latter two games belong to our youngest son, but he is letting us use them this week (while he is at work). The thing of it is we are all working virtually this week, so I’m not sure if we will get many games in until the weekend again.
I was able to do the tropical troubles challenge on all accounts but one. I really like the coconut seeds!

dh caught quite a few fish. i caught one and two mighty nice looking sticks!
saw deer, ravens, seagulls, herons and so on
rain moving in wednesday for the rest of the week, so very glad we went out today………..we needed it!

ll.. finding it pretty easy to complete the WKN challenge.. I think by having color storm as arcade game helps !
moms.. With recent RL event was wondering how your mom is doing.. Hopefully she is still making progress. Are you planning on catch the NFL draft this week ?
Have my eye on a few local kids who hopefully will be drafted.. Himself and I were discussing the draft on Sunday… just a fun fact which I hadn’t realized ( Tom Brady was chosen in the 6th round the year he was drafted !! Will probably end up being the best quarterback in NFL history ??
Went out to lunch yesterday with a few coworkers.. Had a nice visit.. One of the ladies shared that her future daughter in law is going to hike the Appalachian trail by herself !! Apparently it takes seven months for a hiker to do…and they will be dropping her off on Friday to begin her trek.. We were all wagering bets on how long she would be able to hang in there… We’ll see.
Seems kind of dangerous to me… not to mention rugged terrain..packing all the gear..food..

gaga – i know a young lady – early 20’s – hiking the trail now! she’s made her way to Virginia so far – such a cool experience for them though – that would make for such a cool memory – sleeping outside & dirt & bugs aren’t my jam, but for younger person who loves the outdoors – carpe diem!
i am still struggling – raw emotion, but i saw my mom yesterday. she is improving, & i was able to fake it so that i didn’t upset her any more than she already is – she & Millie had a special connection & she hurts knowing that i am grieving. she has a lot more motion in her knee and was moving a little better yesterday. she will probably get to remove her brace next week ♥ thank you for asking
ll – yes! i am so glad for that! i completed one yesterday, maybe i will have time for more today . . . maybe i will have a pj play day today . . .

Hello All
Flew out to pack up DD and move her home for the Summer from her first year of college. Not an easy task when it’s cross country. But we flew home with 6 FULL suitcases and managed to bring most of her stuff back. Everything else was donated.
I tried to go back and skim the past posts.
Moms – so sorry to read about your pup. I went through that a few years ago and it was heart wrenching.
Dee – I didn’t see a recipe for pineapple upside down cake on here, but it is one of my favorites, and now I am also craving it. 🙂
Thank you all for posting the updates on here. It makes it so much easier when trying to remember what I need to do in WW.
Off to catch up on work stuff, but wanted to check in. Hope everyone else is doing well and having a good Tuesday.

regarding the cake………..wound up gettting bananas and they are almost ready to make bread…….since pineapple is in a can and i do not want all the baked goods sitting here……….
so will make banana bread muffins first and freeze most

I have not started any of my Webkinz Newz Week 2021 Challenges yet. I don’t think I’ll have time today, and I’m definitely not planning on doing them tomorrow as Webkinz Day will likely be busy as it is.
I just got my first Steve Webkinz Plushy from the Webkinz Newz room in the Clubhouse this morning, and between my accounts, I now have one of each of the host plushies! Yay!!
Has anyone else noticed that the Webkinz team seems to have stopped doing advanced sneak peeks of holiday gifts? They posted what was in the Valentine’s Day gift box the day of, and I’m assuming they will do the same for the Webkinz Day gift. It’s kind annoys me as I like to plan what pet I’m going to play with on special days ahead of time and sort of coordinate with whatever is happening/being given away… I guess I’m weird like that.
dee, thanks for posting links! I’m very excited about the popcorn bowl prize for the upcoming 2021 Flower Collection! I just hope it’s a decorative food and not an actual food… I’ve been wanting a little popcorn bucket to put in sleepover and movie theater type rooms for a long time now!!!

moms..Happy to hear that your mom is doing better.. I am still so very sorry for your loss… It is so hard to get through each day without falling apart…I saw the dalmatian pup out walking yesterday… Spoke to his owner and told her that I too had owned a dalmatian ..and proceeded to show her the mural I had painted in my garage of Kirby looking through a window with her ever present toy skunk behind her…Rainbow behind them signifying the Bridge.
I see the mural each time I pull into my garage and see my little Kirby looking at me ! Has been years since she passed away but always present in my thoughts…She was a one in a million for me too !
Heading out to have breakfast with a friend…and then need to run a few errands… Supposed to be in the 80’s again today but predicted thunderstorms later…I think Spring has finally Sprung !!
