   there is a vegan donut recipe here on the counter………..hmmm
   a lot of the stuff is good and easy to just redo recipes.
   i have never had tofu nor tempeh or seitan………..i am willing to try the tempeh
   but that tofu…………just puts me off…………and no i have never tried it
   not sure what seitan tastes like……………it is pronounced satan so ya know

   dee – that’s an idea though . . . i know tmt really wanted to get discord going, i don’t like to be plugged in to sound so that i can watch tv or whatever with the family while i’m on, but we could chat through discord or zoom sometime . . .

    dee.. Your hot dog story made me laugh ( just what I needed) can see myself doing that too !
    Chants.. really sorry to hear about all of your recent struggles.. not only with you but your dh..Life can sure throw some difficult roadblocks in our paths
    especially during these very trying times. Sounds like you are back on track..
    Bought a few of those mesmerizing boxes… but sorry no bed either.
    moms..Love your idea of a Gymbos Zoom get together… Recently did my first Zoom with my Investment Company.. looking forward to cutting my work hours a bit and looking at all options… it was interesting but seemed to have a lag time and his portion of the conversation did not match what I was hearing … got annoying and we ended up closing the Zoom and having conversation over the phone !
    Quite a bit happening today in WW… the Deluxe Day prize is really cute !
    Sharing a giggle of the week.. was reported to me by one of my mom’s caregivers that my mom has been going into the garage and using the barbeque tongs to reach her wine !! My brother brings single glass bottles each week but I guess none of us were monitoring until she had none !
    It a way… it is funny but if she ever fell she would most likely fracture something and that would be her demise..

    We have snow in our forecast! We will see!

    Moms – Sorry about your “puppy” having cancer! 🙁 So sad! It is so hard to see pets decline. I watched my “kitty” for years and as you know she died on Thanksgiving Day. Every once in a while I think that I hear her meow.

    Dee – Thanks for the recipe! And I can identify with the hot dog saga!

    Noom, Zoom or Goop! I was thinking Moms said “goop” but then one of my students shared a “Goop” poem the other day in class so I’m all confused!

    Oh….as far as Harry Potter….it’s been a while since I read those books. Not sure I would do well in a discussion at this point. Not really a trekkie fan, Dee, although I don’t mind Star Trek.

    Chant – Sorry about all the stress….Hope Golo works for you. Am I saying that right? Maybe I have that mixed up with noom, zoom or goop. Anyway, these four letter words are getting to me. LOL!

    Never tried yellow split peas in a recipe before, although I have used them in craft designs with kids.

    Tofu? I don’t mind it in some recipes. I like it in shells with spinach! Recipe usually on a box with shells.

    gaga – your mom is more sneaky than my teens! it’s hilarious! i know that it’s risky, but keep laughing lady – you can’t control everything – in her 90’s, it might be something she’s willing to risk . . .

    QoS – awww – i know the feeling of losing a kitty & thinking you hear or see them then remembering . . . most of us do know that feeling – what a blessing are these pets! i know dee has had her kitties & gaga had a really special pup, too. shoot is it dusty in here? i don’t want to live in a world where she suffers, but i also don’t want to live in a world without her – it’s heartbreaking . . .

    golo, noom, zoom – those definitely aren’t my normal 4 letter words (dee – stop shaking your head at me)

    Moms, my bestie in florida is doing the noom with her hubby pand said it’s really taught her a better way of eating and she’s lost 30 lbs on it!!! She loves food..but she claims it really changed her way of thinking about food..can’t wait to hear how you do on it!!!
    Now she’s under my weight, which means I need to lose that tummy so when I go visit we can run around her back yard in thong bathing suits and burn our bottoms again! Lmao!!
    Her suggestion not mine..!! Having done that once, I can tell you it’s hard to sit for a week after that!!!

    Gaga…lol omg that is funny about your mom…though I get how you worry about it.
    My mom was recently introduced to Pinnacle whipped chocolate vodka….she fell in love with it…she’s been asking me to pick up a couple bottles for her. But she lives alone, and like you I worry.. something made me ask my sister about it, and found out she’d been given two big bottles from my brother for christmas!!
    Now I need to figure out if she’s hoarding or actually drank all that in under a month!!! Which I will do when I do her shopping..
    If it’s all gone, I might get her some, but warn others to check with each other before getting her more..if she’s hoarding…she don’t need more….lol she says it relaxes her at bed time and eases her arthritis aches…she’s an adult, and of sound mind, but all it takes is that one time she falls and we’ll you know….so I’m conflicted..

    Qos, I’m sorry about your kitty…I still think I feel my last two kitties I had get up on my bed..it’s wake to look…nothing..it’s weird…
    Though I always know when pig pen is on my bed because he meows to wake me up, then he gives me a cuddle and goes to sleep on end of my bed…often leaving me awake because he woke me! Lol

    Moms, I’m sorry to hear about your fur baby! Cancer sucks.
    After our dog ( years,ago) was diagnosed with bone cancer, we were devistated. .we just made him as comfortable as we could, and waited till he let us know he was ready…vet said we’d know, she was right…we just loved him and spoiled him it was hard, but we knew we’d given him a wonderful life…as I’m sure you’ve done with your furbaby..it’s all any of us can do….my heart goes out to you I know how hard this is..hugs!

    Last day of January ! Looking forward to tomorrow and all of the new things upcoming in WW.
    moms Thanks for the reminder about the codes. I hope your sweet pup is doing well.So difficult when they are struggling with a disease that you know will not get better.♥♥ Hearing weather reports that major portion of the storm will be hitting Southern OH ! Not expecting much in CLE… maybe 2-4 inches today…
    Planning on grilling some sausage for spaghetti sauce this morning.. but it is pretty cold today ! Heard from himself last night ( he must have been really bored!! ) We had a nice long chat about all of our usual topics ( sports politics and his classes ) Midterms coming up already..
    Call from one of my moms’ caregivers yesterday… threatening to quit !!!!
    Seems like my mom is not being very nice and wanting to send her home shortly after she arrives…She is excellent .. trustworthy and dependable would hate to lose her… I hopefully was able to smooth things over for now apologized for my moms’ challenging behavior.
    dee.. what’s cooking in your house today ? Always find your menu for interesting.

    April.. Hope you and Stella are doing well…Good luck to the KC Chiefs next week.. Have loved the quarterback since he was drafted by them and their is a CLE connection with Kelce…But after listening to himself last night and despite their quarterback not being my favorite… I may have to cheer for the underdogs…KC players won last year and it seems that Tampa Bay has not won for many years so…………we’ll see. Remain undecided as of today.
    ll… plan on scouring WKPG later to see what new items are coming out tomorrow…. Thanks for doing such a great job to keep it current !

    sundays paper has a forty percent coupon every week or you can get it from their website……….they do classes for different things too
    their framing is cheaper than michaels………..otherwise it is just cute stuff made in china

    gaga – hobby lobby is great! they used to have 40% off a regular priced item on their website, otherwise, it’s good to wait for their sales, but they have lots of great craft items, decorative items, etc.

    ds has snow & sent some cute photos today 🙂
