Adventure Scout Recipes
The Adventure Scout Cookbook is currently available in the WShop, but these three new recipes will be added on January 20.
Each recipe requires one pack of Adventure Trail Mix, which you can collect from Sophie Stockwell in the Adventure Scouts Clubhouse room. She’ll be handing out packs of trail mix until January 31.
These new recipes make the Adventure Scouts Plaque, Snowy Rope Bridge, and Calming Campfire Stove:

Moms- I had the EXACT same thought and so did someone else in the comment section of that post on WKN. Must of had an intern working that day lol.
Huge winds here today, gusts up to 120km/h. Knocked a tree down across the street and the power. Watched the city slowly chainsaw the tree down for an hour. What else was I going to do with no power for three hours. Funny thing is they just left once the tree was about half way cut down and never came back…

i have given up at this point and will start nagging dh as soon as i finish this
not his fault……….why on earth are they not universal?
other than money…………..
dhs bday is next week and i have been bugging him what he wants for dinner.
sweet man………..going for mellow mushroom takeout. not sure if he wants or realized it was easiest with my diet, dds diet and getting food

LL – i love watching that kind of work – i wonder if they can only clear the line & the property owner has to take care of the rest of the tree?
i watched a tree guy one time tie himself on a rope tied to a big tree & jump off a deck & grab the tree to trim it! it was a serious George of the Jungle – watch out for that TREE! moment – and you’re too young to get the reference aren’t you? does anyone remember that??? george, george, george of the jungle . . .

Moms- Maybe you’re right about the property line. It looked like non city people cleared up the rest. It took me a while to realize, but none of them were wearing masks and they definitely weren’t social distancing. I vaguely remember watching George of the jungle, but I was young and it wasn’t a favourite.

ll… can’t image 120 mph winds ! Must have been very scary… thankfully you are safe !
moms.. tried making the campfire stove this morning… I think there is a glitch.
After placing items on the stove… received gunk !!
dee… may today… that’s all I can say… must be very frustrating !
I received the package from WA state yesterday… Seems like it only took one week !

Dee- It must have been a gigantic tree cause a huge chunk of it snapped off, but there’s still quite of bit of it left standing. I’m guessing it’s still alive, but time will tell.

Gosh, it’s been a while. Time seems to be flying by me even though I’m not sure what is going on.
I felt like winterfest was kind of a bust. Got mostly clothing and very little tiles or new prizes.
gaga—Congrats on the Browns win! Dh and I were watching a movie and I quick flipped it over to the game and could not believe my eyes! We watched the rest of the game. They had a great game! I felt bad for Roethlisberger when a camera got in his face after a loss like that. Leave the guy alone, that could have been his last career game. But the Browns deserved that win and looked amazing. And I might think Stefanski is super cute. 🙂 So I’m hoping he is back tomorrow. Dh is from MO and his whole family are big KC fans, so we will be happy with either win tomorrow. Happy to hear himself called and you got to catch up with him.
dee—I think the cord might be lost to the shipping abyss. Glad your dd is back home with you. Mellow Mushroom sounds so good.
moms—Happy belated birthday! I totally remember George of the Jungle and I can’t believe that tree guy did that, wow!
LL—120 mile an hour winds! Yikes. I’m glad you all are okay. We had a dead tree taken down at our old house and me and several neighbors all came outside to watch. It’s fascinating. The main tree guy said it happens every time they take down a big tree, everyone always comes out to watch. And wonderful news about the non full screen on the desktop app!

Hey dee—those tree guys were definitely in their 20s…maybe 30s, but sadly they were not shirtless, it was fall. It was still a nice view. 🙂
