   I need to update my code list! Thanks for keeping a list here, Moms! I entered all my December codes several weeks ago. I love the two items given for watching about the desktop app. Btw, I switched to the desktop app soon after it first came out so I’m forgetting a bit what was different for me. I have adjusted and I like it very much. I am able to still multi-task. If I am working in a Word Doc or looking up something online, I can minimize that and still look for floaties. There is one glitch with the app that is totally frustrating, but I have learned how to work around it. Sometimes it freezes up and I have to log out…..but wait…it won’t let me log out. So there are two ways to go about it. One way (on my PC) is to hit the windows key and other applications come up. For me I have a Webkinz icon at the bottom of my screen and I right click on Webkinz icon and hit “close window”. The other is to hit Control, Alt, Delete and end the task that way. Frustrating, especially if you had things you still wanted to distribute in the “new” section of dock, but not the end of the world.

   Ran some errands with hubby and got my planner for 2021. Yes, a paper planner! I have considered digital, but I’m not quite there yet! And we made sure our visits in stores were quick. Not really wanting to be out and about.

   It is just the two of us! Very quiet here! We are hoping to have a short, masked, socially distanced visit with my dh’s mom tomorrow. As you may remember we withdrew her from her assisted living residence when we heard of Covid outbreak. She is staying with her other son. Meanwhile, three residents have died and some are in the hospital (one is a very good friend of ours). Not a good situation. Meanwhile, I heard that my mom was exposed. Sigh! I’m crossing my fingers that she will remain healthy.

   dee – i hope you have black eyed peas too! thanks for the new post!!! i have one that i was putting up for midnight, but yours is too perfect!

   QoS – i have the same glitch with freezing & the same work around of toggling over to a different application & right clicking on the webkinz icon on the task bar

   i am so sorry about the exposure & stress, my mom has an exposure as well – she tested negative this week & will retest the first of next week, so praying she stays that way until she gets vaccinated – her first vaccine should be soon . . .

   yeah bought a can of them the other day
   greens should be good………….only made them once before and they were mighty fine………….if i had a green pepper i would try to make hoppin john
   every year dh talks about eating black eyed peas on new years day and we never had………..figure after this year, maybe we should try to do the whole luck thing

   as i clutch my rabbits foot and four leaf clover
