   dee.. Wondering what your reference is to the checkers/yeti comment ? New challenge ? couldn’t find.
   Chants… If you look on Webkinz Picture Guide you will find all of the items in the new Christmas crackers..
   Storm is over here in OH… looks like my area received about a foot of snow…
   Thankfully I am off from work today… Arrived home yesterday after work to find the plows had not been to the development… so angry… I always thought that is why we pay maintenance fee and why I chose to live in a townhome…don’t want to shovel or maintain a lawn… Called the management company but she only said that they are doing the best they can… Really ?? This storm has been predicted for the past week..Crew is here today shoveling walkways…and getting caught up.
   Will venture out to get some groceries… thankfully all of my mom’s caregivers have been able to arrive safely..
   Hope you all are well and enjoying all the activities in WW !

    Chant – In reply to the last post about the charms, figures, and hamsters… Not trying to give too much info here but I didn’t grow up in the states and missed out on shopping for Webkinz in stores (my grandma did it for me instead, or when we were visiting we’d look through shops every now and again). My grandma was awesome enough to try to remember to not buy doubles of Webkinz, but they were expensive to ship. There’s a whole list of reasons why I missed out on certain Webkinz stuff, but I’m just happy to finally complete my collection. I think next Black Friday I will buy all of the hamsters. I don’t have any of them and missed out on their game in WW. I happy you were able to get the ones you wanted/needed.

    and we just had thanksgiving on tuesday, long story,
    but i tried a new stuffing recipe and dh said it was the best he had ever had!
    actually a conglomeration of about four recipes
    oh yeah and technically it was dressing and not stuffing

    gonna do homemade sloppy joes in crockpot this weekend.

    crazywebkinzchic – I would be bummed if I bought Deluxe package and it didn’t work. Contact ganz via e-mail. I had to do that the other day for something else and they responding fairly quickly!

    Yeah…..I’m skipping Bananza Challenge since I already have trophy. Working on my granddaughter’s account, though. She usually can’t play during the school week. I can’t score over 5 KC. LOL! It is taking forever.

    The checkers challenge looks like torture. I may have to fire up 2nd pc and play against myself. The 2nd pc is almost as frustrating as the checkers game, though. And shhhh! Not a word to my granddaughter because she loves to play checkers. I don’t want her to know how much I dislike it. She almost always beats me which would help her to achieve the goal but not me.

    Well….Dee….I guess since you combined four different recipes for “technically dressing” you probably can’t share with us….LOL! Homemade sloppy joes sound good!

    My DIL is recovering from Covid. No longer positive, so she went back to work this week, but she is so tired.

    dee.. would love your dressing recipe too !
    moms.. My mom is really itching to get out of her condo… She is getting cabin fever ! She watches the news but I don’t think she understands how dangerous it is for her to go out.. shopping !! I am going to try and get her out for a drive to see the Christmas lights some evening… She cannot get into an SUV so will have to work that out…

    dressing was
    pack of the pepp farm herb breadcubes
    1 lb sage sausage
    1/2 onion chopped
    1 cup celery chopped
    2 cups chick stock
    1 egg
    1tbs butter

    brown sausage and cool
    sautee onion and garlic until tender
    lightly beat egg
    mix it all together….ya might have to add more stock. you want it wet but not squishy
    13×9 pan……….350 for 65 to 75 min

    notes – i added a splash of garlic powder and some black pepper. I also used unsalted chick stock and vegan butter. Next time i will add more celery as we like it. I told dh that one recipe said to add chopped apple and pecans and he said they sounded interesting……could also add cranberries if ya think about it

    and i covered lightly with foil for first 45 min to keep the liquid in,

    yes to brown the meat first
    there are recipes out there that offer not to, but that sounds grody to me

    but adding green pepper , onion, celery and a mishmash of stuff for the sauce (ketchup, brown sugar etc)

    I’ve always just used old bread from my freezer and no eggs. Also I’d probably want to stuff it in the turkey. We’ll have to see how that goes.

    it is dsl
    it is slow and goes down a lot

    i bought a little metal step stool that i can help my mom step up on to then step up into my suv – i wouldn’t want her using it routinely, but it’s great for that

    i don’t know if your mom can do that???
