I stayed in one place today and had better success with leaves. I’m trying to be really good about it now because next week my sister may be visiting and I won’t be on PC. Not sure of the dates, so a bit hard to plan. Any good plant based recipes that meat-eaters would enjoy?? LOL!

Good Morning All !
Had a great day in Amish !! WAY too crowded though..I don’t think they believe in masking.. We asked our waitress and she said they did not feel comfortable wearing them all day….. and added that you just need to have Faith…We dined and dashed and barely took our masks off ! Found a few trinkets and a few laughs !!
Moms… thought I had to work today ! I really didn’t know what day it was when I arrived home ! So tired ! Hope your day is better today ! Received a distress call from my mom’s caregiver… concerned about her medication… I am planning to stop today and get it straightened out !

I worked on updating my Codes list the other day. Moms, I have two codes that expire on 9/30 that aren’t on your list. But maybe I have the expiration date listed incorrectly? I’ve already inputted them so I don’t know if the expiration dates were earlier or not. I also caught a code I didn’t have from your list! Thanks!

nothing really new, dh and i went for a country drive, which is funny as we live in the country!
went a couple counties over to this big farm supply type store…
bought firestarters for me for making up the fireplace. a log rack type thing
and found cdc approved ten pack of honeywell n95 masks!
19.99 for a box of ten…………dh said if we do not use them for this, he will use them drywalling/insulation stuff…………

gaga – your day sounds interesting . . . i’m all for faith, but sometimes God gives us tools, so i believe i can wear a mask without compromising my faith 🙂 i see it like wearing a seat belt, but that’s my opinion . . .
wish factory makeover???? hmmmmmm – there are a lot of extra things in there, but i have asked if we could have a better way of adding wish tokens because it takes FOREVER for me – maybe they are coming up with a way for us to add them in bulk, or for them to automatically go into the wish factory since they aren’t sendable or let us trade them for medallions or something???

qos – vegan is no animal products, so no eggs or cheese either – if dee says it is vegan, then she wouldn’t use any animal products – no meat, dairy, eggs, etc.

Making 5 hour stew for dinner.. I am still trying to settle down after my mom
gave a brick of cheese which I stood in line for an hour to get at the cheese factory in Amish.. Bought one for my sister and one for himself…and also shopped some for her. Ran to do her groceries for the week and when I returned the cheese was gone and the caregiver had left for the day !
Oh well..I guess I shouldn’t sweat the small stuff but she should not have given it away !

Hello all! Happy Sunday!
I’ve missed all of you! Had some stuff going on. PSA for the day…
GET YOUR MOLES CHECKED PEOPLE!
Had one that looked a little funny and had it checked out. It was melanoma. Spent the last two weeks dealing with that. Two different procedures and surgery to remove it. I was lucky, we caught it early and it was a very thin layer. They still cut out a large portion around it. Mole was just below my ear. I can just now move my neck a little better. No need for any other treatment thank goodness. Feeling very blessed and grateful!
On to funner stuff…Fall Fest! I’ve been able to get several of each prize which I’m happy about. Just haven’t felt like sitting in front of the computer waiting for these darn leaves. I wish it was like Spring Celebration where you could get a prize just for logging in.
Looking forward to all the fun stuff coming in October! Thank you to everyone here for all the awesome info! Need to get my rear in gear and get these codes done. I’ve only caught up on this post.
moms—we didn’t get any football in this weekend. Dh and his buddies are trying to finish the new deck and the railing is proving to be a little difficult. He’s super grumpy right now. Hope you are having a better day!
gaga—Oh my gosh, my aunt does the same thing! I’ll spend a bunch of time making her something or go out of my way to get her something I know she likes and she’ll just give it to one of my cousins…at least it says in the family, I guess! 🙂
