   Good Morning !
   Sheeba.. The salon cuts/colors hair inside… You call when you arrive in the parking lot..There is no waiting area..Stations are sanitized after each client..Even for color processing .. you now stay in the same chair..masks are required and everything is very distanced..I do feel as safe …
   moms.. thanks for the reminder of customer appreciation day ! Noticed that towards the end of the month in the e store…National Puppy Week.. maybe they will have some good deals !

   i just saw a baby hummingbird!
   adorable

   was reading yesterday then dh and watched a movie and cooked.
   quite nice…………….well i watched most of the movie………….found out it was hours long………………usually it takes me a couple days to watch one that long………hard to just sit still when i think of puttering i need to do….

   ll.. you are right.. yesterday was very quiet here on the blog.. Maybe everyone is working on Wacky Prizes ! Noticing that here is a new Community Challenge this week to celebrate Wacky… Looks like the challenge on Friday is awarding a new prize !
   dee.. don’t know how to link the website to show the new Challenge.. are you able to do it ? Also if you should here from April… have been wondering how she and Stella are doing. Is the Irishman a John Wayne movie ??
   Sheeba… Hope you are able to set up an appointment to get your hair done.. for me.. it always is a morale booster !
   One more Sunday family dinner before himself heads off to OSU… already feeling a bit sad about seeing him off… Will be celebrating his birthday next Sunday…packing him up.. and who knows if the campus will be able to sustain classes on site/dorm life…New memo this week says that any class with over 50 students will be online..

   i know you guys love reading my personal blog!
   forgot to tell you, i am reorganizing my pantry and found a jar of lemon curd!
   so i bought some of those phyllo cups and thawed some blueberries
   YUM!
   dh even likes them and he is not a big lemon nor blueberry fan
   making roasted brussel sprouts with olive oil and balsamic
   did some lovely chicken lady parts sauteed with olive oil and some organic spice mix thing………forget who makes it…….they make the nutrional yeast

    Kiddo was so excited to log in and find all his happy mail! Thank you everyone. He does like surprises! Grandma001, he loved the Wacky things. He actually likes fences (I DUNNO MAN), and that’s what he asks me to send him all the time LOLOL. And clothes- he blew all his cash at PJs buying dresses and board shorts and belts- KID Loves belts. I’m going to send him the Deluxe-only butterfly wings belt. He’s been loving the Wacky bumber cars, and has fed his pet several gumballs, but no prizes yet. I’ll see if I can get him to try again tomorrow.

    I got my sewing maching back, and have been making a lot of masks. Really nice ones with pockets, nosewires, multiple layers of cotton. We’ve all got 2 or 3 really good masks now, and I plan to make more. My anxiety demands MASKS. XD

    Dee – I can’t KP any of the Wacky Gumballs regardless of content! I did an experiment with the gumballs that I received from Clubhouse & Park. I immediately put them in a KP box and I got the same message. I fed my pet those gumballs. NOTHING! No pet buddy! So for some reason it is a glitch. I tried the Desktop App, Three different browsers, two different PC’s. Now I’m going to try IPAD and then my mobile app on phone. We will see. Not sure what the problem is!

    Puma – I need to buy some more masks……I could probably make them but I haven’t wanted to get out my sewing machine since I’ve been working on all the clutter…And now I need to focus on the prep for teaching my one day a week classes on line. Anyway, you can see I’m trying to make excuses. One of my friends says she bought some at Old Navy that she likes.

    Gaga – Your nephew’s birthday is close to my son’s birthday which is on the 14th. Not sure what we are doing yet. We may go visit him. He lives about an hour away. Not sure yet.

    Gwenda – I bet a lot of us are going to be looking for those gray chairs. I hope they give us more opportunities to get them!

    Where has the summer gone ? Can’t believe it is almost mid August…
    moms.. Can’t imagine your ys starting fall classes on line after all the sacrificing over past 5 months… but I think it is probably the best option for now..Hope he is able to settle in …Today is the first dine in meals for the residents where my mom is living… It has been a long haul for them too…Have an appointment for visit this afternoon..She remains inside behind a screen…
    Sheeba.. Hope you are able to celebrate with your son for his birthday ! Those gray chairs are very hard to get… am continuing to try…
    dee.. Do you remember the name of the movie filmed in Ireland starring John Wayne…Supposed to be a good movie too.

    Headed to the eye doctor… Require you to call office while in the parking lot and will be instructed if it is OK to enter office…Normally a pretty busy office with 3 doctors…

    i definitely think virtual is the only safe way for now, but i dread the process – i wish they would post videos & assignments & let them work on their own schedule instead of scheduling live sessions all day . . . i guess it’s better that way for some people, but i think it’s hard for working parents & for kids with any learning disabilities or anxiety type issues . . . i’m going to just keep my mouth shut & see what happens one step at a time, so you are just hearing the vent 😉

    HI everyone, I remembered to get the estore shoes today, luckily. I got all the wacky fest stuff all in one day a few days ago, and I even have an extra trophy and a towel or 2 to share if anyone ends up needing them.

    I got my fingerprinting done for one of my background check requirements on Friday, and that was the first time I had left the house since late march. Not sure what I prefer at this point since driving is one of my stressors, but hey, it was a break from the constant monotony.

    Bepsy- I recently got a background check as well. But I guess they do it differently here no fingerprinting required, just several pieces of ID. I’m a huge home body, but I’ve been out at least 4x a week since the pandemic started for work. I can’t imagine not leaving the house for over four months.
