   otterkinx… Hope all goes well with your mom’s surgery… Strict visitation rules are so difficult for families wanting to be with their loved ones to support them..She will though you are with her …
   moms… really liked the post about being still….Gives us all something to think about !
   dee… Hope you are able to see your doggy friend and find out what its name is!
   I have a couple in my neighborhood who take their dog for a “walk” in a wagon !
   Unfortunately … it really needs to get some exercise… but maybe it has something physically wrong that it has trouble walking…

   i really like the dock bed too!
   but i like water
   hoping to get out and do my errands early….need milk and eggs and that is it!

   i do NOT want to go to a store this weekend….gonna be stinkin hot too, so that is also an incentive to get out early

   and my new peepers are in! i am so excited

   hoping to shred some zuke this weekend and freeze it…..gotta figure out how to use the attachment on my food processor……by hand is fine for two cups……….

   i think i’m going to play myself & lose as quickly as possible, especially if we can’t play hosts

   i’ll just line all of them the same along two rows or columns on opposite sides, that way i can drop all of my bombs in the same place on both accounts where the ships are on the account that i want to lose . . .

    Hey all! Long time lurker… and I have a quick question which I’m hopeful someone here would know the answer to. My throwaway account just reverted back to basic, so I need to adopt a new pet today. I’ve noticed that I can use my estore points to adopt a Lil Kinz. Does anyone know if those unlock the membership or do I need to purchase a regular one for the $6.49 in cash?

    i just got done boiling taters for dhs po salad
    i will let it sit all nite to chill
    then add eggs, onions, green pepper, mayo (not miracle whip), mustard, garlic and salt and pepper

    it is for dh…………….i made one earlier this year with no mayo…..i need to find that recipe, cuz it was good!
    my ruby tuesday knockoff pasta salad turned out wonderful. Recipe was adamant about letting it sit overnite………..

I only have one deluxe account so only one rubber duck bathtub and I don’t think I don’t believe I even have the rocker. Sorry I can’t help you with those.

    I wasn’t sure I’d be able to post again for a while, but I did want to stop in just to say thank you to littleleaf, Queen of Sheba, dee, moms, and Grandma001 for your thoughtful sentiments and well wishes for my mom!

    littleleaf – Thank you also for the Pink Cotton Candy Tree! I sent it along to my friend! I know she’s really going to appreciate it!!

    Grandma001 – I must not have been around when the Lorax promotion happened. I took a hiatus from Webkinz World for a year or so around that time and didn’t come back until probably late 2012. I Googled the Unless Platform, and definitely don’t have that. So, I would love to have that if it’s still available! Another Pink Cotton Candy Tree would be nice, but only send it if you don’t want it for anything or if it’s an extra.

    Still tired/stressed/etc. today but feeling a bit better after reading all of your comments! ♥ You guys are the best!!!

    Off today.. getting a haircut… set up visit with my mom… and then need to get to the grocery store … not open tomorrow and planning meal for Sunday family dinner…
    dee… did you pick up your specs ? Do you love them ? Meant to ask.. what are the best kind of potatoes for potato salad ?? Sounds really good…

    i just use russet potatoes………….i do use the reds on occasion when i want the color (keep the skin on)

    do not use yukon! they are too soft and creamy to hold up
    but man they are good
    and yes I am irish, so i know my taters

    dee… thanks for the info…Have not made potato salad before but that used to be my mom’s specialty… delicious..
    logged in to do Bathtub Battles… was able to invite the hosts to play .. which for some reason weren’t available early yesterday morning… Took a bit of time.. but was able to complete that part of the challenge ! So happy….Award 176 points for Tile Towers… and received a medallion !
    Wonder where everybody is ?? Quiet day here today…

    moms… hope you had a great time yesterday with your family !
    dee.. got to the store yesterday… long line waiting to be allowed in…Very hot right now here…I did wait in line however…in and out quickly… Just needed to get items for tomorrow’s dinner with family…When it was my turn to be let into the store… the man with the counter said…don’t go to produce first..too many people…so I did not get to shop the potato you recommended… will shop when not so crowded… ( my store not opened on holidays so needless to say…very crowed !! )
    Went out last evening to water my flowers…standing in the street was a little fawn.. ( still had spots ) … It stood frozen when it saw me ) so cute.. was sorry I did not have my phone to snap a picture… I live in a small town home community so there is little traffic….we had a stare down for about 10 seconds and then it wandered to pond… and then took off ! was seen again when i went to water the flowers on my deck… did have my phone but was much further away ! made my day…
    No plans today…will do some indoor chores…and catch up in WW …

    Happy 4th of July!!!

    Wanted to pop in and wish everyone a happy 4th! Things got a little crazy around here and I finally got our taxes done just in time. I haven’t read up in a few days, will try and catch up later.

    I just love this cool bed!

    gaga—This is Stella’s second 4th. Last year when she was 9 months old, we turned the tv up really loud so she couldn’t really hear the fireworks. This year she notices when they go off, but doesn’t seem bothered by them. Very glad for that. Hope you have a great day with the family tomorrow!

    mom—I too wonder all the time what everyone else does with their piles of papers you don’t want to throw out. I’ve been cleaning out my office, or trying too…I really don’t know what to do with all this paperwork. I usually stuff it all in a box and put it in the basement in case I ever need anything and then when we move I shred it all.

    April… She is so darling in her Fourth of July hat !! Happy she doesn’t freak out too much during the fireworks ! So many celebrations around here are cancelled but my city is having them at the baseball stadium… which is really close and will watch a bit from my deck !
    moms… nothing better than sleeping when you can hear the rain… we sure do need some up here…. but not in sight this week. Looks like 90’s all week.

    Of all my family’s pets, the only ones that really ever seem to care about the fireworks are the dogs. The older husky gets nervous now, but sometimes I wonder if that was partially because my father always treated her that way even if she didn’t act like it. The younger husky is really only hearing the fireworks for the first time, so I am not really sure how he will react consistently yet. I suppose it is because they are the only animals to really go outdoors. After all, my bunny can just sleep indoors and binky around my room all day, and she isn’t concerned at all.

    Once upon a time we had a black lab/retriever and an akita, and they were absolutely terrified. Fireworks were how we lost the akita for a full 24 hours because he scaled the fence out of fear. We found him by accident wandering the neighborhood the next day. The retriever didn’t dare stray from home even if the fence gate was left open. We mostly had to keep them inside on fireworks days.
