Good morning! I’m sorry, it’s been ages since I’ve posted, but I finally caught up on reading through the blog this morning. I’ve missed you guys!
All kids are back from college now: 1 working from home, and the other 2 working maintenance. DH just got word that he can go back into the office on Monday, so he’s really glad to be getting off of the dining room table, and I’ll be glad to get the house back in order. I’m still helping to wrap up the school year, as students come by to pick up their locker contents, report cards, yearbooks, etc. It has really been an interesting school year!
We did venture out for our anniversary to outside seating at a fancy restaurant. It was so nice to get back out there again and feel somewhat normal. The staff was very careful and had taken many precautions, and the weather was gorgeous, so win-win.
Someone talked earlier about the WW host gifts (LL & MomT, I think?) I was going to ask if a section could be added to the Picture Guide about those. The list from WI is very outdated. I’ve been sending letters to the hosts every day for a few weeks from a couple of accounts, and I have kept a list of what I’ve received so far if that’s helpful? Kind of nice stuff! LMK and I can post the list here or send it to you somehow. Or maybe someone has a more complete one?
Really liking 3 Spree rolls. Wonder how long that will continue?
Any idea when the WW summer clothing line will be rolled out?
Enjoyed Dee’s hoe shtick (LOL!) … I won’t go down that path, but my dad always used to tell me about repairing his favorite hammer … said he’s replaced the head once and the handle twice, but it’s been the best hammer he’s ever had.
Gaga, I’m so happy to hear your mom story has come full circle and has a happier tone. It gives me hope how amazing things can happen if one person just doesn’t give up.

Thanks for all the ideas about my rooster name! I like the name Brighton. I’ll let you know what I finally decide. It is going on a feeder account, so I really shouldn’t agonize over it! LOL!
Having a good time overall with granddaughter, but today she has kept to her room watching movies, I guess. Yesterday, my friend came over with her twelve year old and the two girls rode bike all over the neighborhood, went to the park, and had a great time. We had a VERY full day, so maybe today is a “down” day. I hope it isn’t a let-down day. We had worked on a Barbie doll project since Saturday and finished last night. (Go to youTube – MyFroggyStuff – schoolroom). We didn’t have the boxes recommended by Froggy, but we used a tri-fold board for backdrop. It turned out really nice. WELL..today we went to put it all together and realized that we should have made three more stools. FYI – I am done, which means that there is only one stool per table rather than two. (We made five tables). Everything is made out of paperboard/cardboard, etc. We went the easy way and used straws for the legs. Anyway, she hasn’t played with it today (I was willing to play with her). Sigh! I hope it wasn’t wasted time. We have listened to two Nancy Drew books while working on project! So that was fun!
More family coming in this weekend. First gathering since Covid19. Our # will be 7 or 8. I need to figure out menu. Celebrating Father’s Day this weekend, too. Been doing laundry today and I need to clean the piles of school supplies out of the dining room. My dh will be very glad!
Only catching berries while on WW, but not lingering. Yesterday was the first day we didn’t play a lot of Webkinz.
Well…..tummies are rumbling! Soup in the crockpot! (nice hot day with nice hot dinner! LOL!) Leftovers from earlier dinners!

Finally Friday ! Just need to get through today… and can enjoy the weekend !
I am getting so aggravated with people who are taking this pandemic lightly…new volunteer… who happens to be a biology teacher believes it is not serious… too much hype… go out .. and live your life…I had to walk away… and said that he must be a you know who supporter !!
Miracle… nice to see you ! Happy Anniversary ! Happy you were able to have a delicious dinner in an outdoor venue ! Glad your kids are home and you can spend some time with them…and you are getting a well deserved break !

moms.. stopped at OG on my way home from work yesterday for curbside pickup…. my spaghetti dinner was terrible… ended up throwing in out !
The salad was good though…. Hope your mom is doing well…I am hearing that our governor will be making a new announcement about nursing home/senior living facilities…maybe this week… would love to be able to get my mom out for a ride in her w/c around the grounds… They have a beautiful paved path.. lots of flowers and trees.. winds all around the facility… I am anxiously awaiting his conference on Tuesday…

Thanks for the Friendship/Hosts list link, Boper. I’ve been getting gifts that weren’t listed, so I thought it must not be complete … or maybe you all don’t double-list items? FI, I’ve been getting some old trading card items from the hosts (Tabby Von Meow Hot Cup of Coco, Dr. Quack’s Eye Chart, Sheldon’s Surfboard, Nafaria’s Stained Glass Window, Mrs. Birdy’s Tchotcke Shelf, Alyssa House Thin Tapestry), and I know a few years ago I got a Goo Goo Berry Float from Mr. Moo. Some stuff they give is just WShop items, so I don’t get too excited about those, but I was super happy to get the Alyssa/Nafaria items because they were new for me.
I tried a recipe from here the other night … Berry Crisp? I screen-shotted it because it looked like one I could actually handle (not too great in the kitchen), and it turned out so good! I used strawberries and blackberries (because that’s all the store had), and instant oatmeal instead of rolled oats (because that’s all *I* had), and expired corn starch (because I never use it, and I didn’t realize how old it was), brown sugar (which I had to break into pieces with a hammer because it had hardened), skipped the cardamom (’cause I didn’t have any) … and somehow, it still turned out yummy! I guess now everyone can see why I’m not too great in the kitchen … I think I need professional help. But, thank you to whoever posted it!
QOS, your dollhouse project sounds so fun! I had that Barbie townhouse as a kid, and we played with it almost every day for YEARS! I think it was my favorite toy ever. Creating is never wasted time! 🙂 Hopefully, she will keep playing with it … although, we always treated the decorating/creating as most of the fun anyway. Not sure my Barbies ever actually *lived* there. Haha!
