   Last day of work, hopefully. Finishing up end of year slideshow and then need to finish a few grades. Otherwise, should be pretty much done by the end of the day today. One of the less stressful ends of the year I’ve had in some respect. But the looming unknowingness makes it more stressful in some ways.

    Good evening!

    I’ve been too busy lately with my classes. On Monday, I was feeling so blah that I didn’t even want to log in to Webkinz. On Tuesday, I was too busy with a project deadline and didn’t even think about it! I pull an all-nighter which was dumb. Slept in late and guess what….still in p.j.’s. When I came down the stairs late this afternoon, my dh said good morning! I guess he was confused since I was in my robe! LOL! Anyway, this whole stay-at-home stuff is messing with us. We don’t know which day of the week it is and NOW it looks like we don’t know what is morning, afternoon, or evening! LOL!

    I appreciate all that everyone has shared! Gaga – I know you are concerned about your mom. On a different note, thanks for tip about the ant mania game. I’m not a fan of that game and I will be lucky if I finish the challenge. Plus, forgetting to log in is not helping my chances of getting it on my non-Deluxe accounts.

    I probably should invest in more masks. Regarding back to school stuff, we have been told to be prepared to do online teaching again this fall just in case. However, the plan is to meet in person. I’m just part of a home-school once a week co-op, so I find it interesting to hear the comments about what the private & public schools are doing.

    My hair is growing out. And I don’t seem to mind….yet.

    I think I have some grandfathered in deluxe renewals, but now I am wondering if I should go back to see if I have an e-mails about something being done differently.

    so irritated I finally got above 150 points in Picnic, and when the game ended I didn’t win my trophy. I just got a weird message that said “Argument 2…”. I thought it was a fluke but then I got 150+ again and it happened again. Luckily I got smart and screenshot my score. So annoying.

    I managed to obtain all three of the new polar plunge trophies before, so I wonder if I was just lucky, or if it is a recent bug or something. Wish I could get the old one though. As for ant mania, I play on medium since easy is too slow and hard seems like it is too much to be worth it. I tend to get 6-9 kc per round and I finally finished the challenge today.

    All is well ! Work has been really busy…but keeping up ! Looking forward to
    holiday weekend.. Just hope the weather cooperates… have had so much rain this past week… enough is enough !
    Finished a few Ant Mania’s… done !
    State has lifted shelter at home but many places using curbside…
    No mention yet on when they will open up Assisted Living/Nursing homes but
    I am sure they will be the last to open… ?? June… July…

    Hello Gymbo’s peeps!

    DH has left the building! He left yesterday on his first work trip. Driving of course, to a customer in IN. We used to live in the area, so we have friends there he will be staying with. He’s taking all the precautions…and we trust who he is staying with to sanitize everything. Some things you just can’t do over zoom when you are building things. I am equal parts concerned and giddy I finally have some alone time.

    I live in Wisconsin and today the safer at home order was lifted to Phase one. Restaurants, shops, hair salons, etc. can open with restrictions. Restaurants can only be 25% of capacity. Made a hair appt. for June 5th. She has her own salon with just one chair so it will be easy for her to put in place all the restrictions. She will text us when one client leaves and she’s done sanitizing so the next client can enter, everyone required to wear masks, etc. I will not be going anywhere except for the hair appt. Will wait and see if there is an uptick in new cases.

    dee—I believe boating is open here with social distancing rules. Okay first, I’m with moms, Thriller is an oldie??? It’s a classic and will never go out of style! The 80s were the best…can you tell I grew up then? LOL And 13 going on 30 is one of my favorite movies!!! It’s going to rain here all holiday weekend, oh well. I think DH is grilling a beer can chicky and we pulled some steaks out of the freezer. Not sure on sides yet. Berry crisp sounds really good.

    Otter—We do have excellent taste in music! 🙂

    gaga—Glad work is going well, hope you can get back to your usual schedule soon. I would hope the people running your moms facility would be communicating with family members about what’s going on in there…good or bad. Hope you all hang in there until you can hug your mom again. I have a vague memory of ganz releasing a statement about grandfathered deluxe accts. and they were going to end. It was several years ago I think. I don’t remember if my nephews ending by them or I just didn’t renew. I found a post from WI from 2014 and ganz had started ending grandfathered accts. But one post said if you didn’t make any changes to credit card or the accts. the grandfathered accts. would stay for a while. Sorry, but I think you might be out of luck. I switched to buying them when they are 50% off and that’s worked pretty good…just more work on my part. I hope the weather holds out for the holiday weekend and himself feels safe enough to come for a family dinner. 🙂

    Naki—Congrats on the 10k run and all the trophies!!! I hope you and Sheba can enjoy your well deserved summer ‘break.’

    LL—It didn’t matter what level I picked on Ant Mania…was terrible. Terrible game, ugh. I wish you and everyone else Ant Mania good luck! My strategy turned out to be paying the points to skip the game! I know, I know, I but I would much rather spend my time doing fun things in WW and I wanted that cute picnic blanket.

    Naki – do you drive for sports? all of our middle school PE teachers had the CDLs to drive the buses to basketball, soccer, etc. games

    QoS – he’s pretty much staying up half the night & sleeping half of the day for no good reason – he’s dancing, making art, talking to friends – sorry you missed out on your alone time

    april – your time sounds GLORIOUS since you know dh is safe, you can really relax!

    does OH have some thing like that so you can see the official numbers for your mom’s place?

    Hello to everyone! All kinds of food and baked goods have been created in my house, mostly not by me, but most recently apple crisp which is one of my favorites. My mother also made shortcake recently too, but she completely forgot the margarine in the microwave and… uh.. it turned out really flat. I don’t know if that was the only reason why, but it seemed that way. Luckily the flavor wasn’t effected much.

    Still have not played any mania- honestly might give up. Picnic blanket is cute but feeling meh about the game.

    I have a CDL for camp- they license and train internally. I’ve had my license for 7 years and a CDL for 3 of those years lol.

    Settling in for the weekend- feels good to say. Although just realized I have a few loose ends to tie up in the AM for work but I am mostly done! Woo hoo!

    Moms – I guess I understand. My kiddos did crazy stuff like that!

    I haven’t done one iota of baking during this whole stay-at-home order….yet I have still gained weight! I’m thinking of baking some cookies tomorrow. I might as well gain pounds and enjoy it at the same time! (Not my normal thinking….lol). Pretend I didn’t say that!

    mom… our state posts weekly updates on nursing homes… Provides number of cases of Covid of both residents and staff…but does not report any deaths..
    I was happy to hear that the facility is taking the residents outside on covered patio now that the weather is starting to warm up…which my moms seems to be enjoying… as well as one glass of wine before dinner ! ( written as doctor’s order ) and provided by the nurse..
    Looking forward to small Sunday get together for barbecue … Himself called last night and will be joining us ! Niece is coming home from KSU for the weekend and is planning on joining us as well ! My mom will be the only missing regular guest but will be with us in spirit… Planning on stopping by her window after dinner !

    I finished the ant picnic on my dd’s and my accounts. May try for one more for dgd. But if we go away this weekend it won’t get done. I’m done with the ant game but because I forgot (or was too busy) to log in most days this week I’m behind on the jobs.

    We wanted to have outdoor get together with my m-i-l, but visitors are still restricted at her retirement community.

    Good Morning !
    So happy Saturday has finally arrived ! Feel like I am so behind here…
    dee… speaking of hair… Have been able to get yours done yet ?? Hope so..
    My appointment is finally here… Hopefully will feel like a new person when I’m finished !!
    bepsy… will check for the elephant pants… most likely sometime this weekend..
    moms.. how is your mom ?? Hope she is well and staying mentally strong !
    Rumor has it that the facility where my mom is being detained will be setting up outdoor visitation in the near future…half hour sessions…with appointment..
    needs to stop raining here…Nurse called yesterday.. my mom fell but seems none the worse for wear ! Can’t believe how lucky she has been… must be those hardy Irish genes !
    Looking forward to small family get together tomorrow ! Not a great grilling day but won’t matter…
