To have a regular membership you must adopt a new pet every year. A ‘free’ account limits your ability to play certain games, send kinzposts, etc.

According to the CDC, a hand sanitizer must contain at least 60% alcohol in order to be effective against viruses like the one causing the current outbreak.
If making the spray version, you can choose a vodka that’s between 70%-95% alcohol (140-190 proof).
But if you’re making the gel version of this recipe, you should choose a vodka with at least 90% alcohol (180 proof). Since you’ll be diluting it with aloe vera, it’s important to start with a high alcohol percentage.
You have to use a high proof vodka. Regular vodka is only 40% alcohol, so you can’t just use any vodka brand off the shelf. But as long as the final product contains at least 60% alcohol, it’s safe to make your own hand sanitizer with vodka.

DEE, yes you can use aloe gel. As to alcohol, must be 70 percent proof or more to work. You can substitute vodka or grain alcohol too!Most people don’t think about it, but drinking alcohol was one of the first things used way back to disinfect wounds etc. I couldn’t find even 1 bottle of rubbing alcohol anywhere! But my liquor cabinet had plenty of vodka ..lol
You can also use sunburn gel which has some alcohol in it but needs more it’s right next to aloe gel usually. It’s basically same thing just different color..and yup, I’ve made it with both! If you can’t find any gel email me and let me know!

Funny how you can find lots of alcohol at liquor stores…yet no rubbing alcohol in stores…grain alcohol is pretty high proof..but honestly, you coukd use any alcohol that is high enough. .only problem might be the smell….lol

Our governor has made mention of salons and said he will be announcing soon when they will reopen… but then the problem becomes how long it will take to get an appointment ! Return to work is going well…seems to be going smoothly and done safely..
Department head stopped up yesterday… wants us to “ramp up ” numbers by the end of the week… She also made mention of cutting 20% of workforce system wide !!! Who knows where the cuts will be made or if they will be furloughing staff….

weird………i see alcohol here and dh has a stash for woodworking stuff, he has to have the 91 percent stuff…….
we also have tp and paper towels……….and meat, altho they were limiting it last time i went to store
gaga – hair salons may be end of month or june………i have been keeping in touch with my hair lady………i do not have to be first in and i take two hours with all that foil……….so happy she will be able to make some money. last sundays newspaper was full of hair color coupons………ha ha ha
and last time i went to the store, by the candy at checkout they had root touch up kits………..cracked me up

dee- we are also not out of too much here, family up north is still having problems finding things and recently they said meat was the new toilet paper they could only find ground turkey.
as for the hair, I’m very tempted to cut my own (lucky enough I’ve never colored). I cut my bf “T’s” hair last weekend. I think I did okay. It was so long and shaggy on the side, and not cute- I was supportive and patient and finally one day he was like “Naki today is the day”
I will continue to add those of you who I do not have on my friends list, making a wish list might take a few days. I’m discovering so many things I’ve missed out on so I need to hone in on some things that I really like. I would love to return the favor!! Thank you all for welcoming me(back) with such open arms.

They have both grown up and moved on… I have not !! Busy morning and work day today, which hardly involved children AT ALL. Lots of paperwork, stressing about cleaning out my classroom, end of year evaluations, and just waiting around to answer questions about assignments and give feedback to kids via parents. I was not made for virtual learning
On the bright side I’ve gotten really good at running since it’s about the only thing I have control of right now…
choco- okay that makes a lot more sense, there are just a lot of exclusive items in general I’ve never heard of.
QoS- yeah I had so much power with those clippers. the haircut turned out pretty well. However, I took the guard off when I went to clean up the side burns so he had to shave his beard and now he just has a mustache. He’s go with the flow and we’ve been together for 5 years. But his mother was not happy.

Did I tell you how last summer T and I had been planning a trip for Xmas break- and had mentioned it to them. Then, mid August T gets told that they are going to San Diego. NO GIRLFRIENDS allowed. Just the 4 of them and the trip would be 9 of the 14 days we were off. Not including Xmas eve and Xmas day parents said he had to go on trip because it was a gift.

yes it’s very frustrating. August-Jan was a stressful time in my household lol
her problem is that she tried to make it seem like she makes everything even Steven, perfect equal and fair. That’s impossible as a parent- not that I am one- but being one of 3 I know my parents give us things we need at different times. You can be equal with some things but not everything!!
So then when she isn’t fair- she looks like a huge hypocrite. And don’t even get me started about how her and her husband are so much better than us because they studied Engineering(T’s dad actually does sales now) and Accounting. They told his aunt(her sister) that they wasted their money send T to IU to become a teacher.
Meanwhile younger brother is going on year 5 of undergrad and is going to be so amazing because he is studying Finance and will most likely get MBA. Anyone in the family who doesn’t have a career she doesn’t approve of doesn’t have a “real jobâ€. Her sister is a graphic designer and does a lot of sports marketing. She says she needs to get a “real jobâ€

as if finishing in 4 years, both graduating with honors, both of us worked the entire time we were in college, got jobs at 21, and successfully moved out and were financially independent.
and nothing wrong with not doing some or all off these^ things at age 21/22 but definitely something I think they should be proud of.

I saw a comment about clothing not fitting in storage. Sometimes I have that problem but usually the wshop red lockers that fit 3 items work for the clothing that sometime “doesn’t fit”.
Hey everyone, brace yourselves for update wednesday, because that’s what I’m doing lol. It isn’t exactly an overhaul, but there is a lot of work going into the picture guide at the moment to get some neglected or new pages up-to-date, and that will have to hit pause to make time for the new updates. I have a fair sized to-do list that will take a while. I took the exam I was preparing for last night and passed, so I have been able to chill out bit and start getting some of those things going which is great.

I’m disappointed in the Helping Paws stuff. The most I ever get is a 500 KC coin. I thought I would get random gifts each week. Maybe I should add to my wish list….Or read up again on how to get better prizes. I am using a helping paws account that I made. I wish I had remembered to give my account code to the three accounts that I helped set up for FOUR family members. (well, maybe one of them was before helping paws, not sure).

Gaga – I’m in VA – Stay at home order through June 10th. Some businesses were to open up on April 23. Gov. extended to May 1st. THEN he extended to May 15th. The sad thing is that hospitals are furloughing employees and they are losing money big time! I have kiddos in health care (one at a hospital). So far, they have their jobs. But I have friends affected by this. The small businesses? Well, I can’t imagine how they will pull through this. That’s all I’ll say for now. I’m trying to avoid the news lately. goodnight. Remember how I was shocked by the good weather the other day? It is now unacceptably cold.
I think our stay at home ordered got extended through the 28th. Not sure what businesses are allowed to do because I stopped paying attention but my dad may be going back to work next week.
I usually get a 100kc coin once or twice a week from helping paws. There’s only one account for it and it’s no longer used, so I’m surprised I get anything at all.

Good morning everyone,
QoS- Herete or Xairete in greek is a form of hello, I usually hear people at church use it. We say “yiasas” which is the informal way. MO opened back up on Monday, but my city and metro area are still not opened up. Which is fine, although all of our summer plans, and my seasonal job will most likely not happen.
choco- our weather is actually now cold for this time of year too. Not complaining still in the mid to high 60s but sometimes we’re seeing 90 degree weather like we were the other day. Again I prefer 70 so no complaints.
Going to adopt another pet on my side account so I can use that one as my side chick moms 😀
Wed. are the hardest days to me work wise because it seems like they’re the least busy and that means too much time in my head and boredom. Therefore, I will need to keep myself busy-going to try to spend some time outside! Going to attempt to cycle about 12-15 miles today. Had to take some time off because my rotator cuff was very sore.

I hope everyone has had a lovely day!Chillier here today, but sun was out- ended up being a nice spring day!
Best wed. I’ve had in quite a while. I was able to do my trial run of my sprint triathlon although I can’t swim right now, nowhere to do it, so I only did the 20k ride and 5k run, no swim!
I did get my tulip bulbs this morning, very pretty excited to decorate with the flowers.

it’s funny – i asked if she wanted me to bring her anything specific for a meal sunday, and she said that they will probably have a special meal there. i called her back and said i’ll bring her a meal Saturday then
i buy her lash boost every 2 months as my gift to her for every holiday – the only problem is sometimes i have to sneak in something else i want to give her, then she yells at me 😀

dee- I love paper books, however audible is a great option for people who can no longer see or want to disturb their SO turning a light on! My mom has bad sleep apnea and insomnia
iPhones are pretty easy to use- that’s why I keep mine. Rest of my family switched to google phones.

funny you say that about books on paper – an author just gave ds a few signed copies for friends, and he was asking if he could put them in MY closet
we have books on paper, digital, and audio – i love them in all forms! it’s nice to listen to the audio books in the shower, getting ready for the day, cleaning, etc. i listen to audio books a LOT
