Hungry Hog Challenge
The Hungry Hog Arcade Challenge requires us to make 20 wishes on Wishing Well 2 in the arcade, so remember to give yourself 4 days to complete that task! (thanks Boper for the heads up on that!)
The prizes for completing the challenge include the Busy City Soda, Busy City Ice Cream Cone, and the NEW Hungry Hog Fridge!

I forgot to answer my own questions. Oops.
Let’s see. I adopted my first pet on my birthday in 2007. I had just turned 9 hence the SillyGoose9 thing. On my main account, I have 68 pets on my main account and 24 pets split between 3 other accounts. One of those accounts was my little brother’s, one was my grandma’s, and the other I made so I could have a “helper.” My older brother also had an account, but we can’t find any of his old codes and he can’t remember the password anymore. Besides I don’t think they’re recovering those accounts anymore.
Funny thing is that I have over 40 pet codes I haven’t adopted yet, but I keep buying more.

Good Morning All !
It has been fun reading how all of you got started in WW ! I first started in 2007 by purchasing webbies for himself and my niece… They have long since stopped playing and roll their eyes when I talk about WW !! I took over their accounts as well as maintaining my own… Can’t begin to know how many there are !! The only thing I know for sure is that I am totally addicted !! Stumbled upon this blog about 5 years ago …and have enjoyed getting to know all of you !

I joined WW in December of 2007 like Moms! This was after months of earning KC for my girls on their accounts. I don’t have a huge amount of pets on my first account, but I have lots of pets waiting to be adopted and I now manage ten accounts, so I spread my pets to be adopted across them all. I try to keep several of my accounts free for at least 6-9 months and rotate them around for KP privileges.
I’ve gone on two out of town trips since I posted. I am still working on adventure challenges. Haven’t started the hungry hog one, but will start today. (Was not home all day yesterday because of my job and fun outing with friends). The thing holding me up on the adventure challenges are the checkers games. I wish they did not have to be wins.

Yes, you can get those boxes by visiting Ms Birdy once a day in the clubhouse. Sometimes they have food and sometimes they have furniture.

I started the Hungry Hog Challenge on all my accounts. We will see how many get done! LOL! I can’t say that is a fun game for me. The main thing that I did today was visit Wishing Well and my pets ate loads of burgers. Only did the game on one account.
Going to relax in my easy chair now with a good book (and maybe do PAN).

not sure if i’m up to doing another though – that game is annoying to me – idk why but i can zingoz pop or quizzy’s word like crazy – i used to play goobers a lot, too . . . i don’t mind pizza palace . . . so the hogs, ants, dashing dolphin, & wacky’s adventure seem to be my least favorites

QoS – The trick with Checkers is to never move your bottom 4 pieces. Try to get a King as soon as possible, but do not ever move those pieces. That way your opponent won’t be able to get King’d. That’s how I win.

In other news, college started up again today and I’m tired. I recently started as a server at the restaurant I work at, but I’m supposed to be doing overnights because we are a 24/7 kind of place. Thing with overnights is it’s really hard to stay awake after I get off at 6 am.

Cassie.. working nights is really difficult..worked that shift for seven years and seemed like I never felt rested.. Hang in there… Thankfully you won’t have to work it forever…
Has anyone found floating medallions since last week’s update ?? Have not seen any !

I love how our WW stories all have a similar theme. We started playing in early 2008. My dd started an account, and I played with her, so she bought me a pet. She took the tag off, though, because she wanted me to be surprised. So I had to create an account before I knew what I had … hence the name pet4mom. I named my little Persian Cat “Surprise.” When she and her brothers grew out of it, I kept playing. I did take a 5 year break, but came back about 4 years ago.
I found Gymbos not long after that and realized that I was not alone in my odd obsession. I have 25 pets registered on my main account, probably 30 on my dd’s account, and a few on a second account I created just so I had one to play checkers with. π I bought about 30 pets at the dollar store a few years ago. The tags are here waiting at my desk for me to use; but honestly, they are dwindling down and I wish I had bought 50 more.
I’m like Boper in that I hide my obsession from everyone … even my kids, really. They know I play the games sometimes, but really have no idea.
Yes, timing out with checkers still works. π Haven’t played the Hungry Hog game yet … I know I need to get started …
Gaga, I’ve seen the medallion a couple of times since the update. It takes a while to show up, though; about 20 minutes, maybe?

i used to be the head of a department that worked 24/7, so there were times that i would end up still at work for the night shift – a few times, i had to leave & go shower & change clothes so i wouldn’t still be wearing the same thing when 1st shift came back because i got caught one time LOL
i loved the vibe of night shift, but it was so tiring needing to sleep when it felt like the day was starting

Hi everyone!!
Was a long day today…dh had his first vein procedure today, and is feeling a little bit of pain..wait, did I even tell you guys about this?? Lol
long story short in case I did, dhs legs started to swell up about 5 years ago, so he was put on Lasix to take swelling down, but then after he fell and had surgery, it got worse and they have him wearing special stockings..not sure why Dr. Never thought to send him to vein specialist…
but few weeks ago, I asked Dr. If he could give referral, and he said sure!
I made appt. They took a look see, and told us he had a vein in each leg that wasn’t working proerly!!! So right leg was done today, find out Friday if it took. They basically fry the valve that isn’t working shut.
And if all goes well it should stop his legs from swelling…I’m hoping this works…I worry about him having to take large doses of Lasix…
So my prayer warriors, (my Gymbos friends), please send lots of healing thoughts this,way…dh needs them!
And if all is good, they will do left leg next wed.!

How I found out was from my sister, who’s grandchild showed her! A friend of hers gave her a plushy for a bday gift..then my sister was helping her with hers and showed it to me, then asked me to help sometimes to do games and win money for my great niece..and I got hooked, but then so did my sister! Lol we got our own accounts, and then showed our other sister, and I gave my mother a plushy for her bday, and showed her!, and the rest is history…lol

I haven’t played hog game yet. But got the other things done, will work on them later today. But I have 2 deluxe done and 3 of the cash register , and working on 2adventure ones , finished 1..trying to decide if I’m gonna finish the two I’ve worked on…
1 deluxe challenge left. And I’m going to TRY finishing 3 hog ones..
Just seems like way too many challenges in one month!!!

Good Morning All !
Whirlwind week… my mom had GI bleed on Sunday.. ER and IMCU admit…yesterday she was taken to skilled facility for care… She is terribly upset that she can’t return home.. She has always wanted to stay in her home until she passes away…but sadly we just can’t do it….She is where she needs to be and as a family will need to make some decisions….

Hello All!! Hope you are all well. Sorry for lurking so much. I’m having a hard time keeping up with life as well as WW. I was able to get a lot of winterfest prizes. Not so much with the challenges, but I am okay with that. I was in a car accident on the 7th. I am a bit banged up. I have a 6mm herniated disk now. I’m not so okay with that lol. Still I am able to work and stuff so I am very thankful.

gaga – you have had such a stressful time with your mom! i am glad you all found a place for her & that she is there. hopefully she will settle in soon & appreciate that she has help when she needs it but still some independence from you – i think that’s something my mother likes – she gets help when she needs it and doesn’t always have to ask me – it makes her feel more independent

Got a call this morning from a place I had applied to for a job. They asked me if they could ask me a few questions right then and there. Caught me off guard, so my answers weren’t very good.
Some better news though I have an actual interview scheduled for Monday with a different company. So I have some time to prepare. Anyone have any tips?

Today us not a good day for me. .mr. fibro. Is kicking me hard today..this weather really doesn’t help either..hot, cold, hot, cold…ugh! And I’m just not interested in logging on ww..all the challenges are wearing me out..too many back to back…means less time to do rooms.. I think I’m feeling a little depressed too today…not a great combo. Pig pen is upset, keeps meowing at me..he wants to play..it was about all I could do just to get up and feed him, and clean his toilet today…it is what it is. I’ll live.

Fox, yes we still play, though 1 sister has taken a break. We really miss being able to all visit each others houses..!! I wish they would fix that!! My sisters grandchildren that got us playing is now in college, so she doesn’t play anymore. But the next grandchildren are almost old enough to play, so hopefully they will like it too. Time will tell. My mom is 83 end of this month, and loves ww. Keeps her busy. Though I do think she,spends way too much on it..lol she’s got us,all beat..she’s an estore lover..but she only buys pets or items, she’s not into the clothing.

dee – typically the company pays – they should either book flights & hotel room (if necessary) or explain how to be reimbursed
& sometimes they will offer to pay for a meal/meals or ask for receipts for reimbursement or take her out for a meal
