Good Morning All !
moms.. I too love Sophie’s Prizes ! I have always loved horses… First thing I did many years ago…. Got my first real job ( which I am still employed) bought a new car.. and then bought my first horse !! ( a retired hunter jumper from nearby Hunt Club )… so many great memories…
Boper.. found a couple more items.. No need to send anything in return…

I was wondering this morning if they have stopped the daily pet medallion. I haven’t seen one in 2020, which makes me so sad. I rarely win one when I play a game, so I’ve been counting on the daily ones to get a pet … even at that rate, it will take me forever to get one. Anyone seen anything official?
I would love to swap cookie prizes … but I’m so cheap, I am waiting for the free ones this weekend. 🙂
I love the horse, the dress, and the balloon, but $2,000? Seriously?!! Do people actually spend that much? I can’t even …

Regarding Sophie’s Rewards… I think this should be an accumulative life long amount, not resetting ever year. 2,000 is a crazy amount to spend a year on virtual items. At least with no time frame more people may actually be able to redeem those prizes.

I agree- I think it’s fine that they are giving stuff for people who spend at the eStore, but the spending categories are pretty high for one year. I think $100, 250, 500, 1000 would make more sense? I definitely don’t spend that much anyway. And also agreed with the lifetime spending, maybe they could just have all the prizes, and you pick one each time you spend a new $250? Thankfully I am not a fan of the pet, but that PSI is really cool!
Miracle- the free ones for Player Appreciation Day are last year’s cookies. This year has totally new prizes.

Otter – I don’t recall ever seeing the Birthstone pets on sale before and had to double check it was still Deluxe Wednesday since I got on so late. I’m happy I bought them though because I have been meaning to buy the Zodiacs and Birthstones forever.
I also saw that some people updated their wishlists on here and I will look through them and find what I can. Quick question though, how do you make a wishlist on here?

I should mention that our “Three Kings’ Day” celebration went very smoothly! We didn’t have to travel after all because my s-i-l decided to host and she lives near us! That said, the travelers forgot to bring the food items that they were responsible for, so s-i-l had to come up with some quick alternatives! LOL! She was responsible for main dish (Puerto Rican Rice and Beans), so it wasn’t TOO big of a deal, but I’m sure glad that I wasn’t the one hosting! Not sure what I would have done! And she was so gracious about it! My d-i-l captured some nice pictures which made it very special. (I’m not going to mention any family drama…that went on behind the scenes. LOL! BUT, we will be discussing how future gatherings will be handled).

My friends LOVE my visits so much..especially my bestie who I lived with in Florida at one time! She said her and her dh talked after last visit…was first time I spent time since she married him, and she had sold her home and bought a new one with him…anyway, apparently he has told her he likes her strange best friend and actually misses her, and you can buy her a ticket anytime and have her here with us! Then said 3 weeks wasn’t long enough!! Lol
See they work together so they do everything together. .
Which makes for long days and then come home and cook etc .
It gave them both time to relax and enjoy being home..and he especially missed his “pool girl”…I loved being out back and kept the pool and hot tub skimmed well..and made good use of both, i asure you! lovely place on a cove, complete with manatees,and dolphins..and I’m pretty sure I saw a saltwater crock..I’d never jump off their dock! But loved going out on the boat. Just beautiful ride down the creek.
And her house was a JOY to take care of..kept me busy ya know?
Figured since they let me stay 3 weeks, was the least I could do.

But decided to finally go through with a steriod shot for my knee.
Decided to take what dr said coukd happen seriously then did it anywsy..I can’t take the pain of doing stairs with torn meniscus. ..OUCH!!!!!!! way worse tge hip shot few years back..and this one a gravies my fibromyalgia. …actually flared up pain in the hips..and my blood sugars went up…yup, I know, if it can happen it does..I’ll us what it is..I’ll was warned. But now I have to wait two days to do stairs. And that warning I will listen too.!

Gaga – I’m personally not a fan of the new adoption system. I don’t like fulfilling their wish just to play with them and get their box. I liked the old way much better when they’d just appear in the house ready to go.

thank you, my knee is great today, hips don’t hurt, but my blood sugar is still high…but that will come back normal in a few more days..the steriods just raise HE double L ..but was a nessesary risk.I actually got a ww diploma!
But that was before they messed up the weight lifting game..it doesn’t work right and they need to fix it. I’ve tried it on 3 different computers..it’s definitely glitched!!

I finished the cooking class so got the grill prize.

I can’t wait..I really tried to make my garden glow like that here..and there are plants that actually do glow at night..mushrooms are one..thinking of trying my hand at growing them you can buy kits. Problem is they put up a new street lamp out front which doesn’t give my garden complete darkness now, so if I do it might need to do it out back…really dark back there!

Dee – Never tried Puerto Rican beans using pink beans. Tell me how you like them! We always have used pinto. I have an idea that Puerto Rican beans may vary according to the cook! 🙂

I make Spanish rice and you can basically use just about any bean. I’ve used, gandulas, (sp?) Dark red kidney, light red kidney, pink, small white, and black..sometimes using two in combo.
I really love it with black and dark red kidney beans myself..not a fan of gandulas, as I find the texture off for me. And sometimes I throw in olives. Depends on whos eating it. Plus I make my own especias myself, and I freeze it in ziplocks. Store bought is ok..but I prefer my own.

First, I feel like I’m vibrating, my body is visibly shaking..and I’m feeling weak..figured I’d throw in some laundry…I’m like,Dee, I actually like it..it can be zen like for me…ANYWAY…long story short..it didn’t check to make sure the hose was in drain tight…dum butt that I am, and it popped out on first spin and out came half a large load of water all over cellar floor, and the piles of clothing I had just sorted out!!!

And would you know it was whites..complete with BLEACH!!
Let’s just say that load got spun out taken out put ti side and all dark clothes got thrown in fast with lots of cold water..then taken out, split back into their proper loads, and washed. Actually did not ruin even one thing!!! Crisis over.
But now I have to do ALL laundry tonight as a huge pile was all my white towels which actually soaked up most of that first load. Just can’t leave them wet all night. Gonna be a long long night.

Just want to let everyone know that I appreciate all of the gifts. Lucky for me a lot of it was easy to find and fairly recent. I am also updating the list every time I get a new gift from someone so it’ll stay up to date. I’m not done adding to it but I wanted to take a small break and gift back some items to people.

And yes…I could have lost alot of nice clothing..so I’m glad I busted buns getting them rinsed..after all it wasn’t straight bleach..but left over night woukd have destroyed them.
And dr said I coukd use knee in two days..I waited..it’s actually not hurting..so it worked..just messed rest of me up! Lmbo
