   The girls and I went to see Frozen 2 when OD was home for Thanksgiving weekend. We enjoyed it.

   April… are you planning on watching OSU/Wisconsin ?? Himself was going to go but opted not to… Has a final on Monday… Will be home a week from today !
   I know he is looking forward to having some down time…

   Sometimes I think I wouldn’t be so busy if I didn’t have to search for items that I need. I misplaced something and it took forever to find it.

   no big tree up here, dd had put up some small ones while she was here. so cute as she used a webkinz hamster christmas hat as the tree topper!

    Good Morning !
    Happy Saturday ! Hope you all are staying safe and sane as Christmas draws near… So much traffic and crowds.. only to get worse..
    Having fun collecting all the tiles/medallions in WW… wish there was more time to spend on it but should have enough for the Retriever…
    Weather here to be 50 tomorrow .. and warmer on Monday… not complaining !

    gaga—We will probably watch the first half. Depends how late Dh will stay up for the second half. Good choice for himself, better to get the studying in for the test. I bet you are looking forward to having him home for a while, as is dee with her dd. I think there are Santa pics going on today, but we have to get the rest of the leaves done and some lights up outside while the weather is mild. We are the only peeps on the street with no Christmas spirit so far! Hoping I can find my small tree in the moving boxes downstairs. No interest in putting up the big one this year.

    dee—Love the idea of several small trees. And too cute dd used a hamster santa hat for the topper!

    otter—hope you are having fun in Vegas. Dh will be heading there next week for work.

    moms—I like the elf too. That face is so cute! And I love the PSI

    sorry i vanished so long! i was decorating trees yesterday, then had a Christmas party to attend last night

    it was fun, and my trees are BEAUTIFUL this year 🙂 we still have to decorate the big family tree & finish the “sit around” decorations tomorrow, but i am insisting on being finished tomorrow with that

    how is everyone? i’m going to catch up now

    i opened a Christmas tub & saw my webkinz ornaments, made me a little nostalgic

    I need to think of a name for that rainbow tiger thing that came with the black friday deluxe deal. Has anyone adopted that one yet? What did you name it.
    Making chili in the slowcooker today. Used this recipe with some slight tweaks

    hello again
    glad to see everyone busy!
    i thought dd had her last final yesterday……….it is monday!
    just one actual final and the rest are papers. and she finished the last one while we were on the phone. quite the little multi tasker.
    gearing up for her quick return…………she wants the tree up before she gets here………so i will pass that on to dh………she did not say decorated
    we are def the scrooge folks on our street………other than a wreath on the front door (that dd put up)………..you would not know………..and we have BINS of christmas stuff…………..every year i say i will go through and give away and every year, just pop the top back on and it goes into the shed….
    oh well………life of the empty nesters……..

    choco saw your chili recipe
    for dds visits i just make my regular ole chile minus the meat and add more beans

    green pepper, chopped
    onion, chopped
    jalapeno, diced fine ( i use two as we like heat)
    1 can diced tomatoes
    1 sm can tomato sauce
    1 can black beans
    2 cans pinto beans ( i buy the kroger hot chili beans and add it with the sauce)
    1/4 cup chili powder
    garlic, salt and pepper to taste………we like garlic
    tada!
    and if you can find the jiffy corn bread brand that is marked vegetarian and use almond milk and egg substitute…….you are rockin!

    Good Morning All !
    dee.. Happy that your dd will be making a quick turn around to spend Christmas at Home !
    April.. thought I would be able to stay awake and watch the game BUT no such luck… I am an early riser ( 330 am Yikes) so really hard to keep my eyes open after 9 ish.. did catch the first half and was very nervous we didn’t have “it” !
    First thing this morning … checked the score on the computer… Really happy and hopefully himself will check in while we are have our family dinner at my mom’s today…. Planning on watching the Browns/Cincinnati game today…but chances of making the playoffs are pretty slim…
    moms.. Were you happy that LSU won ?? Thought you might be a Georgia fan.. I think the announcement will be made at 2 pm who will play who…
    Wish we could all see your trees !! Bet they are really pretty ! By the way… sent you an email..

    countdown to the tree!
    it goes it our front window, which is usually filled with a bench for the cats. I started moving everything and got stuck! stinkin bench is heavy!
    dh saved the day as usual…….just awaiting assembly.

    making the stuffed chicken lady parts with green olives, balsamic, garlic and sundried tomatoes……….mmmm
    and made oven roasted veggies earlier. all i had on hand was carrots, brussel sprouts and sweet potatoes…….plus have broccoli that i steamed to absolute perfection last nite
    company comes tomorrow!
    all i have to do is vacuum and make my cranberry bread thingy
    i need to google a vegan sugar cookie recipe, unless someone on here has one??

    Choco I need a name for the tiger too- can we adopt it already, or do we have to wait until we redeem the Deluxe account? Soft Rainbow tiger needs something prismatic for it’s name. HMMMM.

    Kiddo’s arm is doing ok. No more pain, and he’s adjusting to his cast. It throws him off balance, though, and he falls a lot, especially outside. We’re going to his new orthopedic specialist tomorrow to learn more about his recovery.

    Dee, my fave way to do broccoli is roasted in the oven (375 degrees with salt an olive oil and garlic powder), and just before it’s done, sprinkle a good Parmesan cheese on it, and let it melt- YUM! We roasted a chicken with couscous, that broccoli, and a butternut squash for dinner tonight- Easy, and one of my favorites!

    Hubby and OD are both done with work and school on Thursday. YD still has another week. She will be complaining she has to go with her sister home. Won’t put up the tree until everyone is done with school. I got the kitties a new cat climber for next to my desk. Pet smart had a really good deal Thanksgiving week. Cinnamon has been pretty much living on it.

    I have one more gift to get and a gift card. YD wants some belts, but keeps putting off showing me where online she saw them.

    They went to a MSU hockey game Saturday. State was playing Wisconsin. State won in overtime. Hockey is pretty much the only sport the girls are interested in watching. YD also likes water polo.
