Black Friday & Holiday Puppy
This week we have the Black Friday Countdown & Holiday Puppy Challenge & Activities.
To help get ready for the arrival of all the Holiday Puppies to Webkinz World on November 29, the Holiday Puppy in the Clubhouse needs your help! That’s why we’re running a special Community Challenge from Novmber 25 to 29!
Here’s how it works:
Every day, come to Webkinz Newz to get your task.
Work together as a community to reach the goal. Don’t worry – you don’t need to do it on your own!
Next day, come back to Webkinz Newz AFTER 9:30AM to check and see if you reached the goal.
If you complete the challenge, collect a Community Code on Webkinz Newz for a free item which can be entered into the Code Shop on webkinz.com.
The challenge begins on Monday. Good luck!

Puma, if you don’t like having any extra, you should try to get at least 10 medallions and then you can trade them in for an Any-Pet medallion. I think that’s the only way I’ll ever get enough for that stone lion!
LL, I was wondering the same thing about the community challenge! Also, I’ve been thinking about your concern about falling off the WW wagon … I have similar fears. I definitely go in waves where I work on it for a few hours at a time, and then other times where I’m lucky if I want to spend 5 minutes just doing the basic dailies. You are not alone! I have learned the hard way that the one day I miss, is the day they give out something important, and I kick myself. I have narrowed down to just one account during those times and stopped doing some of the extra things that can wait until I have more time/interest.
Also, what’s great about being here is that someone usually has your back if you miss something (or an event, or half a year!) I totally enjoyed picking things off of your wish list when you came back because so many people here have given me things, and I finally had items I could give back with.
Looks like a pretty fall day out there after all the rain we had last night … hoping we get more sun today.

Check Webkinz News this morning and next ingredient for Holiday Puppy Challenge looks to be Farm Fresh Pumpkin….
KinzGram… Loved looking through the recipes and found a couple I wanted to make… however… when I clicked on the stove… the food items needed to make the recipe disappear from the dock and I am unable to use them.. Any ideas ?

Happy Birthday Gaga!!!! Well for Friday, cuz I missed it! I hope you had a great day. Sounds like you did with a call from himself! That’s great the kids will be there for Thanksgiving for the first time and you get to take a half day and go pick him up. Stella’s eyes have all cleared up! She is back to her crazy cute self. She had the zoomies pretty much all day yesterday. Tore from one end of the house to other, tore around the backyard. Dh took her for a bike ride…(he rides his bike so she can RUN) That only mildly slowed her down for the day! She seems more calm today thankfully. Dh and I cooked and entire Thanksgiving dinner yesterday so we can bring it to my aunt on Wed. We travel for every holiday. It’s getting old, but it is what it is. We will be at my bros for Thanksgiving and my aunt doesn’t care for the way my SIL cooks, so we make a meal ahead and bring it to her so she can enjoy her own Thanksgiving dinner. My SIL cooks really well, she just likes to mix things up and do things non-traditionally. My aunt likes everything very traditional. It works out, we leave a few leftovers here for us and it makes her happy. Didn’t have time to make the pumpkins pies yesterday, so doing that today. The weathers been pretty mild here for the last week or so…(knock on wood). Hoping it stays that way for traveling.
KGH—I’ve only been here a few years, but I remember you when I first started posting. I think you were the very first person I ‘mutually gifted’ with. 🙂 I’m so sorry to read about your husband passing and your pup, on top of medical issues. So glad you reached out here for some love and support. My clothing organization is a hot mess. I just recently started storing items by event…Fall KinzStyle, Fall Mystery bag, etc. But I think LL’s way is better.

moms—I hope TLL is okay too. Holiday lights at the Botanical Garden sounds so magical!
LL and Miracle—I’ve been struggling lately too trying to keep up with WW. I used to maintain four accts. no problem! Dailies, school, job, everything. Now I’m just trying to take care of one, and just sign on to the others for gifts and such. Thankful this month didn’t have a million things going on.
momT—I think that’s the Black Friday countdown item for Tuesday right?

Just curious, has anyone tried substituting non farm fresh foods for the stew ingredients? idk if there is a direct replacement for cabbage, but in other recipes carrots and pumpkins can usually be either fresh or wshop. I currently only have one cabbage so I can’t try it myself yet.

And in case you or anyone else is interested in keeping tabs on spoilers, here is a link to the full master list links page, and at the bottom of the page is where the newest items are. Most of them are not yet named, but there are plenty of images that I put names with when they are released. The last two lists contain most of the most recent update images.

There are features on the WPG for when you want to know where, and sometimes when, a specific item was released in WW and you only know the name. All you have to do is either search for the item and that will find it for you in either the picture guide or the master list, and if it is in the master list you can click on the picture of a previously released item and at the bottom of the file page there should be a list of pages that uses the file. Usually the images have already been placed somewhere in the actual picture guide. Chances are, if you cant find it in a picture guide page it is unreleased, regular W-shop, pet specific, or estore as those are the hardest to keep up to date.

April.. Thanks for the b day wishes ! Highlight of the day was the late night call from himself !! Took Olive Garden over to my Mom’s after work and had dinner with her….Other than that…. just another day… except for it being a milestone day…

Bepsy- deluxe memberships are usually half off on Black Friday or sometime during BF/cyber monday weekend, which is the biggest discount I’ve ever seen and is when I get my deluxe membership

What is this about a rainbow tiger? My deluxe membership expires at the beginning of December, so I’ll be renewing with whatever deal they have going on Black Friday.
I already got all of my Black Friday shopping done since stores have been doing sales all month long. Got a great deal on a MacBook earlier this month and got a Nintendo switch the other day. Those were the major things I was looking for, so I’m probably staying in this weekend. Maybe.

Kinzgram – walmart, its in a bundle with a spyro game. It is so pricy! I’ve had my eye on it for well over a year now because I never wanted to spend the money on it, but I decided to just go for it. I’ve always loved nintendo games and it’s been years since I’ve had a console, so it’ll be worth it to me because I know I’ll get a lot of use out of it.

KGH, I got my switch from GameStop during Black Friday last year, it was regular price but it came with two games which are normally $60, so it was a pretty good deal. The price doesn’t really fluctuate too much, and Nintendo doesn’t make new systems as often as other gaming console companies. I think it’s a great product. If you end up getting it, make sure you buy Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild as the first game. That game kept me entertained for wayyy too many hours.

Choco, I went and read the fine print- the Soft Rainbow Tiger is the Deluxe Pet til Nov 30th, 2019, so I guess it is the one we’ll get with a Black Friday account? YAY.
Boper, Husband has been playing BOTW on the Switch for over a month now! He’s gotten through the whole thing and is working through the Dowloadable Content. (I help- I gather all the food, cook up yummy thins to eat, and catch all the horses the side-quests required.) Such a gorgeous game. It’s so much fun. And I’m super hoping that Santa brings me one of the new Pokemon games for Christmas (and a violin, but that’s a whole ‘nother wish LOL). The games are sometimes a good chunk of $$ though, for that system. I’d wanted to get Husband one for the past few Christmases, but $300 is Now Small. But he found that he still had access to some old reward points-based system via his work- and he had enough for a FREE SWITCH! So we were ALL very excited!!

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread
Recipe By:Laurie Bennett
“This is a great old Maine recipe, moist and spicy. The bread actually tastes even better the day after it is baked. Great for holiday gift giving!”
Ingredients
1 (15 ounce) can pumpkin puree
4 eggs
1 cup vegetable oil
2/3 cup water
3 cups white sugar
3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour three 7×3 inch loaf pans.
In a large bowl, mix together pumpkin puree, eggs, oil, water and sugar until well blended. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and ginger. Stir the dry ingredients into the pumpkin mixture until just blended. Pour into the prepared pans.
Bake for about 50 minutes in the preheated oven. Loaves are done when toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
