   Good Morning All !
   Happy Friday… took today off in hopes of going to lunch with my nephew……unfortunately doesn’t look like that will happen..but will see him on Sunday for dinner at my Mom’s….
   Wacky trophy challenges has started… not too bad…goes quickly !
   Anyone get any of Mystery Boxes yesterday… bought a couple and got 2 geyser pools…. Would love to share one if anyone would like one…

    Grandma… There is a picture of the geyser on Webkinz Guide..under e store and then Mystery Boxes…Series 3… Looks like a rectangular blue pool with 2 yellow objects with shoot water up… not too exciting but would be happy to gift it !

    Heads up! In newest podkinz, Michael said that you can get floaty clickies.while playing arcade games by going in, then opening wshop then closing it and then floaties will start appearing. I think I got that right..anywho, he says it in the podkinz.
    Also there’s going to be a give away in park. And a few other things..sigh.cant remember it all..oh yeah and starting on 19th a code each day, trees a calender with codes to be used on each day. Lots of stuff this month!

    Thank you for asking about dh..he’s a little depressed over surgery failure ..he’s a little snappy and a LOT grumpy this week .sigh.. he’s still hurting some too..but he made it through first whole week of dieting! He got to have pizza, 3 small pieces tonight with side salad for his free day treat. He was happy it was free day lmbo! And I’ve had time to work on a new Tudor era gown..yeah! Also visited with my best friend..took her measurements for corset..we are exact size and weight! Only she has 3 inches bigger hip area! Gave us a good laugh. Never been that close ever..! Lol

    dh and i went to a fleamarket this morning and i bought (well dh paid) for two new kahuna doormats! woo hoo
    they are good size and made of that coir (?) type stuff, so they do double duty with kitty scratching……………ten bucks

    found a chicken tortilla soup recipe in a cookbook, so that is what is gonna be for dinner tomorrow……………supposed to be cold (for the south)
    so i wanted soup!

    Chicken Tortilla Soup

    2 pounds chicken
    1/2 stick butter
    32 ounces chicken broth
    1 can Rotel
    1-2 cups whole kernel corn (I use frozen, but can use 1 can)
    1 large onion chopped
    2 tsp minced garlic
    2 tsp ground cumin
    2 tsp chili powder
    salt & pepper to taste

    In the pot, combine: broth, butter, onion, garlic, spices, & chicken. Boil until chicken is done. Remove chicken, shred, and return to pot. Add rotel and corn, then simmer for an hour or more. (Can simmer all afternoon or in crock pot.)

    Can top with plain greek yogurt (instead of sour cream), lime juice, for dh – cheese, or tortilla chips as desired.

    I am not sure if you can substitute the butter, but I would be willing to try it with 1/2 of what the recipe calls for – overall a little bit shouldn’t be too unhealthy.

    I hope everyone here is well. I may be absent for… long periods of time…but truth be told many of you are in the back of my mind day to day. Taking the time to get here and get in the zone and read gets daunting sometimes.

    Life and kiddo and hobbies are keeping me busy. We're up to letter D in homeschool now. FINALLY the weather broke (sort of?) so we can go outside without wanting to die. Neighborhood kiddos come over most evenings to play- mostly the age-appropriate ones, though. And since I didn't have enough to do with momming, homeschooling, my fanfic reading hobby, crocheting, NOW we have a Nintendo Switch (Husband won it free from work!!) and Legend of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild, and we ADORE IT. Such a beautiful game. We've been playing for a few weeks now (sucking so much time I barely was able to make it on for Fall Fest, and I LOVE FALL FEST!), but we're noticing that the bow&arrow shooting and sword slashing and spear-thrusting and baddie-killing has really ramped up 3.5-year-old's aggression level. He's got an indefinite ban on the game now to try and detox him a little.

    I'll try and do better getting on here- it's nice having a place to hang with others online since I bailed on social media! 😀 Halloween is super boring to me generally, so maybe I'll be more motivated to get on as Christmas creeps closer! I never actually put the finishing touched on my Christmas room from last year- maybe I can tweak it as I get into the spirit!

    I beat all 10 levels of Scrambled, made the high score of the day, but there’s no trophy for the game. Disappointed 🙁

    little leaf.. congrats on getting high score of the day !! Too bad there is no trophy after all of that work !
    The pumpkins are supposed to start flying tomorrow … the 14th…
    From what I heard on the podcast… the bat plushies are supposed to be starting on the 25th… Haven’t checked Asian account to see if pumpkins have started there .. but I doubt it… Will let you know..

    Littleleaf, are you sure you have not completed the game before? I have played the game through and got a trophy. It is probably a one time trophy unlike some other games.

    Bepsy- I went to check and you are right. I do already have a trophy. Must have gotten it awhile ago cause I don’t remember. It sucks that they don’t let you win a trophy every time you complete the game.
