Hello, everyone! The day is winding down!
I really like the academy playing field! Oh no….checkers, again? Not a fan! (Shhh! Don’t tell my granddaughter….she loves to play it with me!)

We had a wonderful cookout! Grilled hamburgers & hotdogs and served a big tossed salad, and lots of fruit. Brownies and ice cream for dessert. It was a combo birthday celebration for oldest dd (who is also a Webkinz fan) & a going away party for youngest dd.
Today we went to our favorite Chinese restaurant after church, only to discover that it was no longer there! Boy, were we surprised! Fortunately, there was another one close by. 🙂
Kiddo’s have gone to their respective homes. Baby dd still here for one more night! Tomorrow afternoon, my dh and I take her to the airport. Today has been an emotional roller coaster for me.

Grandma001, sorry I’m just now getting back to you about the Christmas rugs! Either one of those two rugs would work perfectly in my new Christmas room!! Though, if you decide to part ways with your Snowflake Rug, I’d want to “gift” you something for it considering it’s an older item. 😉 And thank you for going through your dock(s) and looking for rugs for me when you didn’t have to! I can’t tell you how much that means to me! ♥

Quuen, sounds like you had a great weekend! And you are very welcome, of course I can’t remeber what I actually sent, lol, but sometimes late at night I try to hit the wishlists…it’s like a good game of hide and seek..cause I KNOW I have the items, but can’t remember where..sigh.
And I like the field too, but not how I have to get it. Of course it HAS to be at the end of the challenge, that I wouldn’t bother with except for the field..ugh! I swear who ever makes up the challenges is evil…and having a good laugh at our expense!

moms.. happened to catch 60 minutes last night.. One of the segments featured a former player for Atlanta…#99… great player and so handsome… today struggling with ALS…the story was so touching and heart wrenching.. brought me to tears.. He is very inspirational… getting some new treatments to slow the progress of the inevitable…Wondered if you were able to see it or if you have heard of him..

Did not talk to my nephew… guess he lost his voice or my phone number !!
has sent me a few words by e mail…Not very newsy though…My sister received an alert on Sat night announcing an active shooter new campus..I guess my nephew’s quad slept through it…

Chant – Do you still need the Mod furniture pieces on your wish list?
I got a dining chair yesterday in the trading room and I have 1 lounge chair, 2 side tables and the raspberry swirl wall hanging.
Also have a coffee table, TV, 2 dressers and an additional wall hanging. Let me know if you still need any of these.

gaga – it sounds like your nephew is adapting – that’s good. i have a friend who’s son wanted to come home every weekend, he didn’t adjust well, and that was not a healthy situation for him. i would much rather they settle in and enjoy their experience

Re 27..never having watched the show, I’d not heard this song. Smh lol. I will say this, it kinda reminded me of Spanky, the kitty we adopted at 12 yrs. And had to recently put down..that cat farted. And he could clear the whole house out using the box! Took him to vet because of it. They’d let us adopt him without testing his poo for parasites!!! 200 bucks later, he felt better, and his smell was a little better..but not much..and dh always called him stinky kitty..even so we loved him and miss him terribly. But the song made me laugh. And made me think about Spanky without crying.

Saw on the news that Lego also designed a new figure of Sister Jeanne..
She turned 100 over the weekend.. She was the Chaplain for the Loyola basketball team..who I think made it to the Final Four this past season.. All the kids/players seemed to love her… They had a big party for her to celebrate her 100th

Good morning! Happy Tuesday!
We are FINALLY back home … WHEW! What a whirlwind couple of months getting those kiddos ready to leave. DH and I chatted all the way home about how different things are going to be, what we wanted to do first, how we can anticipate the changes, etc. I am much more excited than sad (which, honestly, makes me a little bit worried about myself, but that’s probably another story!) But it’s like finishing a LONG race getting them to this point, so the sense of accomplishment is huge for me.
The text messages have been short and few, but when I did finally get them on the phone they sounded happy and on top of things. Feeling your pain a little, gaga and moms, but I keep telling myself that it would be weird if they DIDN’T leave home, so it’s just time. I love that there is a big Christmas and Summer break when I can get all caught back up. Looking forward to then!
Cleaned their rooms last night, starting my diet again today, getting ready to tackle all the projects … we’ll see how long I can last!
Moms, I think the checkers game is one you can play with one of your other accounts? And I think if one account times out, the other one automatically wins? I can’t remember for sure, but I’m pretty sure that’s how it works. Makes going through the challenge quick.
Played WW all morning but have a few appointments and then back to work this afternoon. Sigh … really enjoyed that vacation.

cowabelle is easy to beat at checkers
we skype with dd once a week and she texts at least every other day. just so we know she is alive.
when she was working her internship, she would call if she was waiting on a bus or train to kill time

Knocked out the Super School Challenge on my Deluxe account this morning! I used extra spin coupons on the Wheel of Wow even though I know I could’ve just completed that part “for free” in a few days, but I couldn’t wait! I’m already dreading doing my other two accounts. Though, I did get the highest score of the day on Booger Gets An A after playing that for part 2 the challenge, so that was fun!! 🙂

littleleaf, if you would happen to have EXTRAS of the Blue Frost Tree, Bright Light Modern Tree, or Grand Christmas Tree those are the 3 that I’ve always wanted of all the Christmas trees. BUT only if you have extras OR something you want for it/them!! I know those are all older trees…
gaga, I like the fall season, too! I really enjoy how cool the weather gets and the smell of the air outside! Oh, and the fact that eStore Points are on sale during Black Friday! 😉

littleleaf, that’s okay!! I knew it was probably a stretch! I just looked all of them up and they are from 2006, 2008, and 2010 respectively. And thank you!!! I’ve been lucky enough to see a couple of my pets up there on the Highest Score of the Day spot a few times over the years!
