April… sounds like you are going to have a very busy weekend ! Will be fun having a visit with your brother and his family ! It seems that you and your nephew started WW the same time as my nephew and I did…. I still talk about webkinz with my nephew… however… he just rolls his eyes !! When he outgrew Webkinz I took over three of his accounts… not sure how many more he had but had the info on three…Still remember his first one… Frog with the eyelash coat.. which he promptly gave a haircut !

Tired… headache… All the animals in my house seem to think it is Winter now and time to hibernate. Think I’m about ready to hibernate as well, LOL!
Not too crazy about this month’s Player Appreciation Day gift, but who knows? Maybe it actually looks really cute on the pets.
I applaud those of you who have successfully done homeschooling and those of you very thoroughly looking into the requirements, social aspects, etc. to make homeschooling a positive experience for your child(ren)! Way to go mamas!

Moms, thank you for the sandals!!!! I’m watching The Great British Baking Show on Netflix! What a fun show. I am not a cook or baker, as you may have heard lol. Still I love watching those who are. Such beautiful creations!!!
Everyone planning fun weekends??? I’m working Saturday. My niece and nephew (who have been living with me since Nov 1 of last year) are spending their first weekend with their parents overnight since then. I’m so excited for my 1st kid free weekend in months!!!!!!

We stopped at a Hallmark store and they had a Lion! I bought myself a cow. We sat together and opened his acct. It was 2009. Now he’s going to be a senior in HS.

Littleleaf _ I’m SO impressed with your organization! How amazing that you have the clothing sorted all ready! Do you have any tips for the rest of us? How did you end up organizing? Just curious!
WACKY – I was able to get all the bumper cars that I wanted even though I only had two days of wacky event, but I totally forgot about the WackyERZingoz prizes. If anyone has any extras I’d love to have one of each! If I have something that I can send your way in exchange, I’d be glad to do that, too! No problem if I don’t collect this year. They will probably be back next year (judging by the fashion week prizes).
I was able to use browser today to log into WW. Eventually, it froze up and I had to go to the app to finish my dailies.
Nita – For fun this weekend we are celebrating my youngest son’s birthday. All my kiddo’s are adults now, but we try to get together for special events. He always asks for Red Velvet Cake. 😉 The home-made version.
Cat update: The blood work taken on my eighteen year old cat revealed that her thyroid was normal. They were suspecting that it wasn’t. Overall, it was a good report, although there are signs of early changes to the kidney, which we already suspected.
Otter – Sorry about headache. And don’t otter’s like to eat fish? 🙂 😉 Just teasing you a bit here! Hope you don’t mind!

Queen- As far as what room they went it, that was random. But I organized them all on a spreadsheet, put where I got them from (Webkinz Newz, Estore, Winterfest, etc.) and what room they were in (or what pet was wearing it). That way I figured if I need them I’ll be able to find them again.

Moms, I think a hybrid program would suit us best too. There is a school about 30 mins north of us that is a homeschool supplement school- just 2 days a week to cover some things that aren’t so easy to do homeschool. It might be a good option for us once we get into grades. Or for Middle School. I don’t want him going 5 days a week full days if I can help it, for a variety of reasons. But he needs the social- and Mama needs a break!
I’m planning to take some time to build a new webkinz room or two tonight. I’ve finally come up from the Transformers hyperfixtion that has taken up my last several months- YAY ADHD. It’s nice to be able to focus on other things again! So I’m celebrating by doing some redecoing! My favorite! I can finally use some of the pictures saved in my Webkinz Room folder.

Ok, update on RL.
DH is now seeing a gastro. Specialist. They asked for all his files from the last year.
Drs. Face was priceless when I dropped off the huge plastic box with aprox. 2000 papers and I think 12 cd roms with imaging.
He said he’d need a few days to review them. Lol ya think?

RL, been crazy with dr. Visits. They approved the PET scan. That is next wed.
Also seeing GI doc. Both of us. Saw my dr. Wed. He’s not happy with what I’m going through since gall bladder surgery. Then said sound like I may have formed another stone in the bile duct! Just wonderful.. I didn’t even know this was something that could happen. Murphys law.

Clover kitty is doing 100% fine after her traumatic experience. She’s virtually unaffected, but doesn’t really want to go outside so much anymore! XD Her claws are not causing her any grief, and they’ll recover as soon as they can grow out.

Puma good to hear that! Sad that clover got traumatized though! Poor kitty! Our Piggy was born outdoors, a stray. But since the night we took him in and gave him a bath, he’s never wanted to go back out! He’ll look out windows or the door, but will not go out no matter what. I guess living his first 6 months outside was not fun. But that’s ok, we prefer him staying in! We are too close to the road and too many strays out there.
Spent a ton on vet bills fixing and making sure he was in good health, we want to keep him that way!

Re46..no you are not Dee. I like the idea of doing mini loves and freezing. 3 people in this house, rarely do we eat at same time. And my dh can be extremely picky. Specially lately. I’m looking into buying an upright frost free freezer. None of us eat a lot anymore and making things ahead and packaging as single meals is a great idea. I USED to do it years ago. But stupid me got rid of the freezer. New refrigerator doesn’t have enough space to do cook ahead meals. I miss doing that. Made life so much easier.

Dee – always tempting me with your food! Wishing I liked to be creative like you! Tonight we ordered pizza out and it was the worst pizza ever. Very disappointing.
Okay – so my traumatic cat story is about my 18 year old cat when she was 4 years old. Somehow, she went out in the road (we lived on a busy street then). I think she must have been hit or brushed by a car tire and she was scrambling underneath the moving car trying to get out. Anyway, she ran away and we finally found her under a neighbor’s crawl space under back porch. Someone (don’t remember who) crawled under it in pitch black darkness and got our precious pitch black kitty. Her nails were ground down to stubs and she was shaking. It is amazing that she lived through that experience! We thought we would find a dead kitty. She lost one of her lives there, right? Anyway, NOW she is 18 and cautious about roads.

Oh, bother, our food disposal has gone bad! And now, something with the dishwasher. It may be connected to the food disposal problem. But my dh, who is a do it yourself type of guy decided to go to bed and face it in the morning! He put in a new lamp post today so he was especially tired this evening and not ready to face the indoor problems.
Tomorrow, I am going to the funeral of a friend who lost their life due to a drunk driver. 🙁

Thanks for the rugs, Momz! I played that game as much as I could trying to get the rug, but it stresses me out for some irrational reason. I think my heart actually skips a beat every time I click the button. I’ve never quite been able to figure out why.
Whimsy Dragon is not my favorite either, but that one is just more of a drudgery, so no good excuse to not work at it. I sure wish I would have caught it when it was game of the day ’cause it is going to take forever. But I want that cabin, so here we go! 🙂
Thinking of you and your nephew, Gaga! We are taking our dss down this week, and while most of the time, I am happy and excited for them, every once in a while, a wave of sadness washes over me. Things are going to be so different around here! I hope I’m really ready for it. I do have some plans, so hopefully, I will stay busy.
Chant, I usually just pull up a second account and lose to myself. What’s really sad is that even when I am trying to lose, it’s very difficult. I’ve never been able to figure out those model judges. But then again, I’m not super into pet clothing and most of my WW pets run around nekkid.
Momz, I put all of my dispensers in my test kitchen. Granted, I don’t have that many. But I keep my bank and the slushy machine in the room with my pets so they can collect every day. I’m still trying to get the “super rare Birthday Cake Batter Slushie” by feeding them to my pets, but so far, no luck. Has anyone gotten it yet or is it just a myth?
Wow, Littleleaf, you are my inspiration! I would love to organize my items in a spreadsheet, but it took me 3 days to do the PSFs, so can’t imagine doing it with my whole house. I really love the idea of turning the Webkinz Picture Guide into a check sheet … we need someone to sync it up with an app … anyone, anyone? Bueller?

Miracle – Thinking of you on packing up day! I can’t imagine saying goodbye to more than one at a time. Did you say 2 or three kiddos? Anyway, it’s a good thing to stay busy, but I find that at times it hits me that those “good ole days” are behind me. Often when it is unexpected! There is a part of me that is glad for a new era in life, though. Such a mix!
Dixie – Nice to see you! I’d be glad to play supermodelz with you! I don’t know the trick to winning! LOL! Sometimes I just chose by columns and amazingly, I will get a good score even if nothing matches or looks good on my “model”. Anyway, I found someone online last night that played about eight games with me. They won most of the time. I only needed one more to win, and maybe they knew that? Because two rotations of judging… their pet wasn’t dressed…. for a score of zero. And I won my last game!
I was explaining my dilemma of not passing strength in the KA to my husband and he just shook his head and said, “I really don’t understand your fascination this hobby.” Oh well…I was kinda’ hoping he would catch the vision and do the strength classes for me. But that was purely wishful thinking. It’s how I feel about some of his activities, so I guess we are even.
Well…I need to apply myself to RL activities, like grocery shopping. Need to bake a cake tonight and make something ahead of time for tomorrow night’s dinner. Celebrating birthday of my youngest son! (A few days late, but it’s hard when he doesn’t live in the area).

dee – i couldn’t help but think of you today, my mom wanted a hummingbird feeder for her balcony, so we got one, and i filled it and hung it for her. just a few minutes later she had two hummingbirds checking out their new treat!!!

hummingbirds are wonderful! I love them cheapo walmart feeders as they are the easiest to clean………does she know one cup water to 1/4 cup sugar equals hummingbird feed?
they chase me if i am wearing a bright shirt
and this butterfly bush has to go! it sent out sockers (not sure if i can say) so it has totally taken over my little garden…….at this point, i will buy another if it does not live after relocation…………granted i have seen more butterflies this year than i think i have seen in my whole life. between this bush and fishing trips……….wild as they always seek us out!

yes, they are pretty and all of that……….but if you can not clean it and refill it properly…………
mrs hummingbird comes out when i am out and has no problems with the kittiez……..their “grooming” station is right under their feeder. The kitten still gets pretty excited when they buzz, but hopefully enough of NO will keep them well
my house smells so good right now!

I use http://webkinzpictureguide.shoutwiki.com/wiki/Main_Page this site to take screenshots and then check off items I have. I’m currently working on my rare theme rooms so it’s super helpful. I used Webkinz Insider for the longest time to do the exact same thing and now I use both.

Everyone – Did you guys not know you can play against the hosts in the Tournament Arena? I always play against them instead of waiting for someone. BTW I love SuperModelz and win… quite a bit XD. Dee, last year people walking by broke off parts of my butterfly busy, plus bad damage from winter, I had to severely cut plant back…thought it died! I was sad, no leaves this spring, and it had fungus on it… so i cut all that back..figured id dig roots out later…then all of a sudden it started to grow again!!! And my butterflies are back yeah!!! Bought cheap dollar store hummer feeder 3 years,ago..I keep forgetting to put it out..with everything going on here my garden was lucky to get weeded and the grass part mowed..lol

Wow, had a busy day today. Finally able to sit down and play some WW. Darn it looks like I missed a lot of rares today.
I’ve only played Whimsy Dragon a couple of times and only managed to get to level 4. I bet if I played more I would be able to get further.
Muffin- I love taking pictures of sunsets/sunrises. They are so beautiful.
Queen- I love the strength challenge. I have no problem passing the class. I’ve only made it to Level 4 or 5 though.
Cassie- That’s a good idea to include the pictures. I’ve always wanted to incorporate the pictures somehow, but I feel like it adds an extra layer of complication to making lists. I use that site all the time too, it was super helpful in organizing all my stuff. I want to be able to search for the item quickly when I’m in a trade to know if I need it or not.
