   Maybe when Hatch the Dragon gets to be GOTD I will finally win my own hatchie. I have traded for a few because they are so cute, but I have never won won on my own.

   I went through a phase where I played that game a lot! I will try to do my part today!

   Dixie – someone on here gave me some good tips on how to win the hatch the dragon trophy. My mind is blank right now on who & how, but it worked for me and I have won several on my own. As far as the prize for today….is it a decorative item or a boat? I think it is kind of cute!

   Thinking of you today, Gaga, and hope the back to work transition is going smoothly!

   Not sure that I have mentioned it, but I’m prepping for a trip to the UK with my dad next week. He had a biopsy today and will be getting the results the day before we leave. Anyway, we will be gone for approx. 16 days. Don’t think I will be doing anything Webkinz related during that time.

   Guess what? I got $1671 KC today on the Big Button of KC! Now if only that could translate to RL. Ha ha!

   Afternoon Gymbonians, and welcome to all the new Gymbonians!

   Can I just say that computer failure stinks?! The motherboard gave out on the computer I use to do the spoilers. Fortunately, the hard drive was still good, so I ordered me a cable to hook the hard drive up to another computer and rescued my data. I now own an external hard drive to back that data up, lol! I do NOT want to go through that again.

   Glad to see WI is back up. I only use that site for communicating with moms, but for many people, it’s their go-to site, so I am very happy that the data was recoverable. Now if only Justin would, like, update it or something, lol.

   I just got back late Saturday night from a ten day long vacation in Colorado!! OMGoodness I did NOT want to go home!!! Going back to work yesterday was a rude awakening 😆

   TLL glad to hear you were able to rescue your data!! I know just how detrimental that can be!

   I’m happy to see WI back, as I have so many fond memories there, & have met some of my longest & best friends there. I just hope the site can manage to stay around long enough for all the information on there to be backed up, at least as far the wiki & that wealth of information goes!

    Oh Loopy!! I feel for you, truly! I know what it’s like to go through pulling bit by bit off the old hard drive. It’s a long and tedious. It’s also why I have an external hard drive. Everything I put on this computer also gets downloaded onto my External hard drive. At least I have some semblance of the original version, then and a start point. This computer has crashed twice, already.
    So glad you were able to recover all that data. So much work!
    I can’t find the link to all the clothes and items that you had posted before. It also had the catalog numbers with them. Would you be able to post that link for me again?

    Sheeba.. thanks for the back to work well wishes ! Returned to no air conditioning… very warm working conditions… The Monster was sitting in its parking place waiting to frustrate me !!! Apparently tech people were up the day before checking all computers before we returned . Mine seem very slow and not usable… Traded it in … made it through the day…
    Hope your Dad’s biopsy goes well… and you are both able to have a great trip to UK !!
    Michele.. Sounds like you had a great trip to Colorado … Hope your first day back to work went OK…Doesn’t take long to back into routine of everyday stresses !

    I just bought 10 Growing Seeds Mystery Boxes Series 3 from the estore, and they are not opening in my room! What do I do? I have no way to communicate with the estore and I’m not seeing anyone else having this problem on the various social media spots. Did anyone else here buy boxes, and if so, can you open them?

    Okay so I just tried the Ganz eStore customer service number, and wonder of wonders, there was actually a live person at the other end of the phone line! According to the rep I spoke with, “there is a glitch with the boxes and you won’t be able to open them until the next system update”, which is not until July 31!!! I am so angry!

    Hey all! Popping in before we vanish for vacation back home. Lately, we’re *melting* in the heat (GA in July is NOT my favorite!), the garden is overcome with weeds, I can’t keep the birdfeeders filled fast enough (not even the hummingbird feeders!), and Kiddo is wearing me down by being 3. OH I do not really like 3… everyone is tired and angry all the time, and the heat isn’t helping. Looking forward to going North where it’s cooler, and there’s grandparents. 🙂

    My poor Kinz are so neglected. I haven’t even played with the newest one, a lamb from goodwill (still had the tag! YES!). I just pop on, send marshmallows, and pop off. :/ *sigh* It’ll be Fall Fest soon enough 😀

    puma – it is too hot & too humid! grandparents will be wonderful for both of you! i always said “terrible 2’s” was a lie perpetuated to trick us into letting our guard down & thinking we are the crazy ones!

    parenting is hard.

    enjoy the cooler weather & take a little time for yourself – do something you will enjoy alone!

    peeking in
    my laptop is acting up……..keeps overheating and making this whirrrrrrrr noise as the fan comes on………..used to only do it when i played certain games.
    now………….hit or miss
    i love that laptop………granted it is about then years old and has windows 7 on it………….and it does not charge so dh had to hardwire the power cord into it……..but it is MINE (cuz no one else wants to use it)
    has all my stuff bookmarked…………
    anyways………….dh hogs the desktop and he has a hand me down laptop from dd………..i have been using the laptop…………eeeeekkkkkk
    too new and it clicks when you press the thingamajig……….so annoying to play atlantiles and hear click click click click click click

    but i have a girl……….but we did make a pirate ship out of a box once! and painted it and everything.

    15 is awful!
    puma – when i had lots of hummys, i bought a pitcher from dollar tree and would fill it and keep in the fridge and refill as needed………..that would be dhs “garage” fridge……….one cup water to one quarter cup sugar……..i have only had a few so far this year, not sure if it is rain or what……..have had GOBS of butterflies tho and bumblebees

    LL – idk i win a lot, it’s just a little time consuming – the key is to keep the “highest” block that you have combined in a corner – try to always move pieces so that nothing gets between that highest block & the corner

    Gaga – so glad to hear that nephew is excited about his new school!
    Puma – I always wondered why they called it the terrible twos when I loved the twos. It should be the terrible threes! That is when mine seemed to challenge me the most. It’s good to hear Dee’s perspective, though. There are benefits to three! 😉 I remember doing fun art projects with my three & four year olds. I also ran a daycare at the time so I had a bunch of little boys. Sometimes up to five or six of them, counting my own. All the same age, with the exception of one baby.

    As far as the teen years….not so bad on my home-front. I enjoyed those years. “Parenting” adult children is tricky. The dynamics change….as they should, but there are challenges that have surprised me!

    It is blazing hot here, too, Dee. I’m in VA. The heat index was up to 103 degrees today. The prediction for this weekend is more of the same and a bit higher.

    Ah….I have been out most of the day, so I forgot all about the challenge! I may be able to fit in a few Hatch the Dragon games before bed.

    It’s been hot and humid and gross here and it’s only gonna get worse.
    I somehow acquired a scholarship (small one, but every little it helps) and I don’t remember being offered or accepting it?? Strange, I just saw it today on my financial aid thing. If any other (larger) scholarships want to show up out of the woodwork and deposit themselves into my account, that would be nice… or a big fat check to pay off my loans… or an even bigger, fatter check to pay for grad school…

    Morning all…

    Thank you gaga, moms, Queen, and Chant for the well wishes in regards to my health and such. ♥ Migraine has managed to stay away these last few days, but a new “headache” took it’s place. I basically slept through Tuesday, which wasn’t all that convenient but felt really good. Then yesterday and today I slept very little and have been feeling super agitated and overwhelmed by things.

    Chant, I loved seeing your room with all those pretty summer pieces on the other thread! Very nicely done.

    gaga, I hope you’ve had an easy transition back into work these last few days!

    Michele, I know you said it was a rude awakening going back to work for you, but I hope you are feeling a little bit better as you’ve been getting back into the swing of things.

    Queen, I hope your dad’s biopsy results come back soon and with good news! I am all too familiar with the nervous waiting game that biopsies are, as my dear mom has had several over the last few years. Thankfully, one of them actually caught some pre-cancerous polyps, and we were able to have them removed before they turned into cancer. On a lighter note, I hope you enjoy your upcoming trip to the U.K.!

    TLL, that Visual Master List is awesome! It’s basically every item in the Webkinz system, right? Sorry about your troubles with the Series 3 Growing Seeds Mystery Boxes. I’ve only got 1,400 eStore Points to my name, so I couldn’t have bought any even if I wanted. I guess I avoided that pain!

    Gaga – Yeah…I have lots of experience with kids. My mom had a daycare in my growing up years and she is quite good at raising kids. She retired from daycare at the age of 81 (a year ago). She still manages to keep busy. I probably haven’t said this but she is a workaholic and doesn’t know how to relax. Her hobby is work. So I grew up in an immaculate home which was nice, but is a hard act to follow especially when my hobbies include Webkinz, reading. and other things besides work. Ha ha! Even though I didn’t acquire the love for keeping an immaculate home, I did acquire the skills of working with children from my mom (& dad). I take after my dad when it comes to paper clutter, etc.

    Nice to get an update from you, Otter. My prayer for you is that you get a good night’s rest.

    Choco – How wonderful to get an unexpected scholarship! I am hoping more good things come your way! $$$ It is always nice to have help with the bills!

    I’m glad we met community challenge yesterday. After posting here that I was going to play a few Hatch the dragon games before bed, I realized this morning that I totally forgot to do it. My dh is leaving on a 2 week trip today and we had so many details to attend to. This is the first time in our 37 year old marriage that we have taken separate vacations. He is going to family reunions and also has some fun adventures planned with his cousins.

    Gaga mentioned that it was Tile Towers today… that means that I may not get as much done in RL. LOL! It is my favorite game!

    Hello all!

    Busy couple of weeks. The heat advisory has caught up to me as well. It’s so gross outside.
    I keep checking in here everyday and starting a post, but end up getting distracted and try start over the next day.

    gaga—Hopefully the monsters on wheels are manageable today and the air is back on. It’s always to hard going back to work after a nice long vacay. I’m so happy your nephew is so excited about college! I have a feeling he’s just going to love it. Stella has had a busy week and now that the last few days have been a little calmer she’s bored and acting up…digging holes in the backyard, etc. I bought her a fun dog sprinkler that shoots water in a bunch of different directions, so she will probably love that for a little bit this afternoon. This past weekend we went to a Humane Society fundraising event with some of the other pups from her class. We were there to support our dog trainer and help raise money for the Humane Society’s new building. We had a lot of fun and people kept asking me if she was available for adoption. ‘NO, no, no. She’s mine!’ 😆

    Choco- Congrats on your scholarship, it’s always nice to have a surprise amount of money come in. It’s probably one of those scholarships that’s awarded to you based on your grades. I’ve gotten those a few times and I didn’t even have to apply for them.

    What’s with everyone and their love of tile towers?! I find it kind of a boring game.

    It took me quite a while to get used to Tile Towers, but now I love it! I try to get all of the upper levels cleared, as much as I can. Those are key to get rid of. If you have stacks they can sometimes contain duplicates of the face tile. When you get tired of trying to find a match or you suspect your matching tile might be under a top tile, hit the shuffle. You might be a better shuffler than AI is.

    Anyway, sorry to have been away so long (don’t suppose it was really that long) but I published my first Front Page in more than 9 years! It took me 3 days to figure it out. I was so doggone excited that I had to run to the washroom 😆

    I’ll have to read back through the comments so I can who I’ve missed and get back to you all later.
    Oh .. except Gaga and her monster. How did that go?

    Trying to get back into the swing of working !! Thanks for asking Dixiecup and April… I sure am getting better sleep since returning to work… Forgot how draining it is !! Don’t think I will ever get used to the Monster !! but still doing the best I can… and ask for help when I get stuck !
    Took today off ( scheduled months ago ) to get my hair cut and colored…and then have an appointment with someone who will help get me ready to sign up for Medicare !! YIKES !!!!! Can’t believe I am fast approaching that milestone.. Plan to continue working until I think I’m done… and then hopefully find a job that is fun…
    April… Will be interesting to see if Stella likes the dog sprinkler ! Sure she will love it with the heat… Don’t think I have seen one before…
    Queen of Sheeba..Wanted to do some Tile Towers last night but I ended up dozing off ………called it day !
    Looked for Mist’s room this morning in WKN…. couldn’t find it.. What is the name of her room?
