   I’m happy you’re here, Zayac! <3 Kiddo is good- he's 3, he loves to play outside, and we just discovered the Lego Movie. We got him a kitty for his birthday, named Clover. She's one weirdo of a freaky-deaky cat, and she barely tolerates him, but she's settling in ok. She's just a nutjob. 🙂 It's full on spring/summer where we are- my garden is chugging along. We're harvesting peas and broccoli now, potatoes and carrots soon. Summer veggies are planted and sprouting up! And it's getting HOT *melts*

   How's things with you? 🙂

   I LOVE this Hall Tree Bench! I totally want to cram it into my Bungalow room, but it's already so crowded. Maybe I can cobble together something seaside/cottagey looking and it'll fit.

   Everything’s ok, I’m going to go to meet a mental health worker at my school in a month. I’m trying not to skip school and just keep eating healthy. I sometimes feel really embarrased about myself because my speech is so bad in English and I can’t make friends. I really want to get rid of my social awkwardness because if I won’t help myself then nobody will. It’s so hard to start a conversation in English.

   I remember watching it when I was like 12, my little brother used to love legos so much! I wonder why he stopped building with legos.

   Kitties are great, I’m glad she’s not hurting him. My friend’s grandma has a cat and even though she’s spoiling her she is still attacking her from time to time. I’d want to get a cat too when I have my own place.
   And harvesting is great, my dad also found blueberry bushes near our apartment. Do you have a garden?

   This item is beautiful but I don’t know if I’ll find a use to it or not, I’m out of ideas right now. Do you guys think it’ll look good in an indoor room?

   Love the bench! Not sure where I’m gonna put it, but I like it so it’s going somewhere.
   At the hospital now but I’m about to leave for a little bit. Not much change. Gonna stop by the store on my way home and get more tofu. I finally decided to be a good little vegetarian and learn to cook tofu. My first try last night was decent, but I accidentally ruined the rest of the pack that I didn’t cook so I need more. Might get some iced coffee too…. definitely gonna get some iced coffee…

   Hebrew, kind of. My parents raised me to speak Russian and my dad is talking to me in Turkish so it’s complicated. I’ve never tasted iced coffee before, my mom said it’s tasty.

   Choco, funny you would mention Iced Coffee… I am drinking something similar, called Iced Java (though I make it with Coffeemate and hot water) I can’t drink Iced drinks, its a temperature thing. I can’t handle drinking anything cold, it drives my teeth insane.
   Zayac, so I am to understand you are fluent in 4 languages, you are a polyglot! That will be very useful later for you. Multi-lingual people are difficult to find.

   We are having sunny cool weather for our Victoria Day long weekend. I finally weeded the rose garden yesterday, it took me 5 hours. I am very achy and tired today so I am resting and playing webkinz.
   I opened a new account ggmagicmomcat, if anyone wants to friend me. I am finally trying to do helping paws and use up all the 100’s of pet codes I have. So far I have loaded all my foxes. I am only missing the the 2 estore flower foxes. Today I think I will load all the bug pets I have. I like today’s deluxe prize and I am using two of them to make a booth in my regular fox’s kitchen.
   Choco sending you positive supportive thoughts and an echo of all the other moms here.
   Dixie, the first time I had iced coffee was in Australia and it was made with instant coffee and ice-cream.

    Moms, that can be a uncomfortable situation with the deer. My dd’s friend was chased by a mamma deer when she was walking her dog.

    We are hosting an 80th birthday party for a very good friend tomorrow. He is from England and will be going to Switzerland to have a family celebration on his actual birthday. He is so amazing and spends all his time traveling. We are cooking a tradition roast and yorkshire pudding and lots of veg.

    i guess i’m not alone when it comes to cold drinks- when i was little i used to love cold drinks but i barely even got to drink cold water because my mom was worried i’d get sick of drinking cold stuff. so now i’m not used to anything too cold(though i will never give up on eating ice cream from time to time)

    i don’t really know what the word ‘fluent’ means but i’ll guess it means you’re good at a language- i’m only good at one and that’s hebrew(and that’s only thanks to the internet). the rest i can understand and sometimes read but for me, growing up in israel and having 2 languages in one family made me bad at all three of them. like imagine having to speak hebrew in school, coming back and speak russian to your mom and hearing your dad speak to you in turkish- pretty confusing for a kid(though i still love all 4 languages i know, i’m also planning to learn spanish in the future)
    though i do agree with what you’ve said, having to at least understand multiple languages is good. that way you can know if the lady behind you in the grocery is badmouthing you or not lol

    catmom, i already love this place. it’s nice to have people to talk to, it’s also super nice that we all share one thing in common 🙂

    The definition google gave me for fluent is “able to speak or write a particular foreign language easily and accurately“. I’d imagine it would be confusing when you’re still so young and learning the languages, but being able to speak another language is a great skill to have! I never took much interest in language, I took a Spanish class in high school but didn’t like it.
    Didn’t get my iced coffee because I ended up going to my boyfriend’s house to show his mom how to clean the guinea pigs cage. Can’t have the piggy in a messy cage getting poo stuck to her behind. Might grab the iced coffee on my way back to the hospital. Not sure if we’re supposed to have food/drinks in the room but his mom had coffee earlier so we’ll see.
    Not sure what to do about this upcoming week. Normally I watch my nephew when he gets out of school but I’ve already talked to my sister about the situation and she found other arrangements for him. Might try to start watching him again halfway through the week, but we’ll see. Subbing is on hold. I’ve already taken an assignment for Thursday so I’ll keep that, but I won’t take anymore for the week.

    gaga—So happy to hear nephew is feeling better about OSU. We did get the herbs and flowers in the back planted last weekend finally. A few tomato plants too. Took us twice as long because every time we had our backs turned Stella was doing something naughty and I had to go get her! LOL She's doing great though. Making progress on heeling. Dh was on a fishing trip all weekend so it was just us girls for the last few days. Enjoy family dinner…s'mores sound so good!

    dd is making some apricot preserve tempeh thingy
    kind of reminded me of pumas recipe……..dh came with one with apricot preserves and chicken……….meaning he literally came with it when we married. a cookbook from his mama! ha ha ha ha ha ha
    and i think he might have made one recipe out of it…………

    choco – have you cooked with tempeh? dd always drains her tofu and sets something hard on top of it in the fridge before she deals with it……..mostly marinates it, as i guess it is bland…………but the the tempeh can be marinated or batter and fried or baked or whatnot……..dh loves this restaurant in nashville called the southern vee, that makes a hot fried “chicken” and they make some kind of potato salad, but with chickpeas

    I think it’s amazing that you are learning so many languages! Just think when you are older, you might be able to be a translator for work! I’m guessing you are using a translator in order to write English?

    As to dh..he’s doing better..but now I have a infection starting at the top incision ! It’s the only one out of 4 that hasn’t healed properly.! And now it’s a little painful..so I will be calling dr. In morning.
    I’m so frustrated with this year already! I’m about to pull my hair out if this keeps up! This year was supposed to be GOOD!
    I have so much I need to get done around here its not funny..yet no energy to do it, and the setbacks are getting me depressed.
    I’m not asking for much dang it ! Just things to get back to normal..

    Choco – Thanks for update on your boyfriend. Will continue to pray for him & his family & you! I have been through it with different situations. With one friend I was the last person she called. It took me a long time to work through that. She was a newly made friend, so I didn’t have the degree of closeness that you have with your boyfriend, but it was hard to lose her all the same. I always wondered if I could have done or said something to change the outcome. I’ve come to terms with it and realize that I’m not to blame. But it was sure tough going for a while. I’m sure the road ahead won’t be easy, but I hope that he is grateful for another chance. Hugs & More Hugs!

    Zayac – I came across the post you made yesterday with your wishlist. Looks like it went to what we sometimes refer to as the “trash bin”. We’ve had problems in the past with spam, so they’re a filter on here that catches any comment that may be an issue and in order for it to be posted, someone has to manually go in an approve it. I have no idea how to approve them, but I was able to view it. The filter probably caught that comment because you had 4 links (I think the max is 3). The filter is a little fussy, it doesn’t like lots of links and certain bad words that aren’t actually bad.
    Anyways, I’m interested in trading if you are! I took a peak at your wishlist on your tumblr and I have a few items you are looking for.
    First, I do have a quick question about an item. In the picture below, what is the item on the 4th row, to the right of the stuffed hippo? Looks like some sort of monster statue. Where is that from? I don’t believe I’ve seen that before, but it’s cute!

    A big thank you to anyone that has sent me gifts! I just made it through a couple of midterms and now we are getting closer to the end of the quarter, so work is actually piling up. Unfortunately this has been my least favorite quarter just based on the required tasks individually.     hi, good morning!! thanks everyone for being supportive. I feel a little braver today about speaking up in school, it’s kind of a mood thing i guess? i remember last time i tried to speak with someone it was nice. a girl in yoga class, she invited me to her group later on and it was super nice since everytime there was a group work i had to find one. super awkward.

    enchanged- i do use translator, but mostly i’m comfortable chatting without it. 🙂

    choco- i just checked and it’s an estore item, last time i remember getting it was around 2012 as a prize. i didn’t know it was estore until i checked 🙁

    Zayac, I’ll admit I don’t know much about Hebrew, but not too long ago I went to my sister’s friend’s bar mitzvah that was primarily in Hebrew and the rabbi tried to explain some things about it to everyone there. I of course find the system hard to understand when it is not written with more English letters. I have recently tried to pick up on Spanish and that is way more simple for me. Of course I grew up speaking English, so that makes more sense to me. I kind of wish I had grown up with more Spanish, since it is so common in the U.S., although I find French and Asian languages more interesting for some reason.

    yeah, honestly the hebrew that’s written on the old books is even hard to understand for an average non traditional jew. it’s an old form of hebrew, if you’re talking about that. i persoanlly also don’t know a lot about bat mitzva and bar mitzva as well because we didn’t celebrate it in our home.

    that also reminds me of some kid i met in a discord server- we were talking about something and when i saw that someone joined i tried to switch to english(because i think it’d be rude to keep talking hebrew in a voicecall with a non hebrew speaker) guess what he said to my friend???(she has a good english accent) he said “tell your friend i don’t understand JEWISH” >:( at the time i tried not to feel anything of his comment but honestly deep inside it did made me a little more insecure about my accent. i really hate how i sound- it’s a mix of russian and hebrew accent. BUT- i know i shouldn’t be. i need to just sound more confident and that’s all.

    also is fishing fun, moms? i’d guess it’s a relaxing experience, sometimes funny. would also guess it’s super yummy- a fresh fish. let me know how it was, if you want.

    hey zayac – he fishes for the “sport” of it, and the lake near us is catch & release, so you can’t keep the fish, you take it off the lure & put it back in the water 🙂 he finds it very relaxing & fun, dh will fish with him most of the time – i just watch/read 🙂

    Zayac, I think the Hebrew in the books for the attendees to use was newer, and I think the Torah was older. The books they gave us had English, Hebrew written more like English, and Hebrew versions. Unfortunately, I am not sure exactly why people will assume Jewish and Hebrew are the same thing. Many traditional Jewish people used to speak Yiddish as well, although not so many anymore, and every other language under the sun probably too. My family sure isn’t Jewish and my father had to learn some things about the Hebrew language for the sake of his schooling in seminary because it is so directly related to biblical history. He used to be a Lutheran pastor.

    moms, my father at one point tried to get into fishing and took me and my sisters. Unfortunately, none of us never caught anything so he didn’t try more than a handful of times.
