Thank you so much for caring. My ww id is indeed ggmomcat.
Moms the husband is still being very unkind a lot of the time, but I am learning to just leave the house when he does it. Hence the Easter miss. It is very distressful for the whole family when he does it. I am thinking a lot of the nasty is due to the pain he is in constantly.
Dearest Gaga, hang in there. If it is anything like here the nurses will just stop using the computers because they will glitch all the time and no one will get anything done in a timely manner and that will cost more than the computers.

Dee, the functionality of the daily video ads is somewhat arbitrary.
If you have your ad blocker on, you probably won’t see the videos.
The other part is definitely, you have to have parental permission to accept third party ads and that’s through the parent login.
All of my accounts reject as soon as I try, saying no such account exists. So … I have ONE functioning account.

we are getting ready to defrost our little chest freezer……..been clearing it out to get it done, so i can go shopping!
lots of deer……….i am so short that i can not reach to the bottom, but so far…looks like deer!
we usually keep some gallon jugs of water in there in case of power outages.

Accepted my first two jobs. Home ec teacher at a high school and a 1:1 aid for a special needs students at an elementary school. Might also take a 3 day long middle school english lit job. Haven’t decided on that one yet because I know middle schoolers are a little more… difficult… It’s either that or one day in 3rd grade and one day with middle school english lit at a different school.

i always wanted to be a teacher and was very let down my current states troops to teachers program……….i used to be “critical”, but now everyone is dropping arts and languages…………so………….no worries, as i am not needing employment, just something i always wanted to do……..i am working on networking to do tutoring with grade school kids……..who knows?
but your options sound wonderful!
i think you may enjoy the special needs job considering your major…..new perspective…………..your call of course and this is harsh, but could be a future paper………………I KNOW that sounded mean………but data is data and if everyone benefits

Just entered the code for the white eggs and I got a skunk from one of them! Very happy as that was the prize I wanted most. Got several of the flowers, very pretty. Also got a rainbow road tile, I think I might use it as a rug instead.
Dee – I originally wanted to be an elementary school teacher, but the pay is very off putting. I still strongly considered it up until I was getting ready to transfer and found out that many of my credits would not count towards the program at my university, so I’d basically be starting over. My community college didn’t have a teaching program so I wasn’t able to take any classes for that, but I took a ton of psych classes.
I ended up picking the 3rd grade class and the 1 day of middle school english lit. I do have some experience with special needs children. I was a caregiver for a girl with autism for several years and my nephew has some challenges as well. I also briefly worked with a middle aged man with special needs, which was a very interesting and eye opening experience.

FINALLY finished the Kiwi costume challenge, and finished the Crystal Seas mess last night. Got 5 more Kiwi medallions to get, but at this rate, I may as well just wait for the box. ALSO, I dislike having extra medallions hanging around? I scheduled myself with the Retriever, so I’d get exactly 100, and wouldn’t have any danglers, but helpful Kiddo clicked on one last one for me when he was playing, so I’m forever left with 1/100 medallions. SOOO may as well throw caution to the wind with he Kiwi 😉 I haven’t even taken the time to find a name. Saw someone on another blog named theirs “Meatball”.
Clover Cat’s new super-chill supplement is working great. She’s making far fewer visits upstairs at night, and is quieter overall. She’s CRAZY playful, and we got her a little rabbit-fur ball that ties to a wand, and she’s NUTS ABOUT IT. She tries to carry it around the house, making little Mommy Cat “mrrrp?” sounds- She was a mama-cat previously, and I wonder if she’s trying to bring food to her babies? She doesn’t like Kiddo, which is a bummer, because she technically was his birthday present. I wish she was more friendly with him, but he’s also 3 and likes to be UP HER BUTT all the time. She’s whapped him several times- thank goodness I keep her claws trimmed short, because she’s gotten him in the face and close to his eyes before. :/ I’m torn between “Cat, stop hitting the KID”, but also “KID, stop IRRITATING the CAT!” He’s got to learn who to be a respectful kitty friend someday, and who better to learn from, than a slightly curmudegenly cat?
Choco, you’re close to MI-ish, right? Have you ever hear of VSA Day- Very Special Arts Day? There’s a school in Grand Rapids that hosts this day, I think it’s actually 3 days- of arts, immersion, crafting, sensory experiences, and artistic FUN for special needs classes all over the state. I used to volunteer every year in high school, and I LOVED IT! Totally, look into it, if you can! I was stationed at several events around the campus in my years, and OH the kids (and adults) are so into it. It was one of the greatest experiences of my life.
I almost went into Conductive Education, a special vein of special needs education. I regret that a little now, since my degrees in Animal Care, Zoological Science, Ecology, Evolution & Organismal Biology, as well as three internships focusing on animal training and positive reinforcement sure did me a lot of good- I’m sure not working in THAT field currently. I think I chose wrong, and I suppose it’s ok (no worries about abandoning a beloved career to be home with Kiddo), but it still rankles a little.

moms.. enjoying my time off… had to make two trips over to my mom’s home.. it is so funny that when her TV has cable issues she calls me to fix it… I wish the computers at work were as easy to deal with ! Nephew’s prom is tonight and will head over to get some pictures…He is not taking the bus .. found a ride…
makes it a bit more worrisome for his “gaga” despite being responsible kids !

Good morning, all! Happy Saturday! I LOVE early Saturday morning … the house is quiet, and I can work/play on WW for a couple of hours … getting my house in order, so to speak. 🙂
Puma, don’t stop collecting medallions! They can be exchanged for Any Pet medallions, so I am still collecting them every chance I get. Especially since those Stone Lion ones are so hard to come by … I’m expecting to have to use almost all Any Pet medallions on him!
I love being a teacher, but I’m wondering if it will be the same without my kids there next year. I toyed around with switching careers at that point, but figured I should at least stay put for a year and see how it goes. There will be enough changes in my life at home as an empty nester that maybe I don’t want to change jobs, too. (Loved your empty nester joke, dee!)
Gaga, love your roots and wings comment. So true. I am not a “clingy” mom, so I’m happy to see them getting more independent and ready for RL each day. Plus, they are all super good kids. Not sure how I got so lucky.
Just watched Pride and Prejudice again the other day … love that movie. And finally got to see Crimes of Grindlewald. Loved all the special effects. Incredible!
Dee, I think we got some of those prizes last year during the Newz week event? I ended up putting a bunch of that stuff in my Newz room, which is why I’m thinking that. I have a few extras, if you want something in particular? LMK!

AAAH I forgot about Anypet medallions! RATS I’ve been getting lazy. Oh poop. I AM loving the four free medallions from the News boxes- I FINALLY got my first Gargowl medallion this week from a box. I hadn’t gotten one, and it’s almost been a year since I began playing again!
I use the medallion pets to “farm” medallions. I only have a few I’m trying to get- Raccutie, Tiger Lily pup, and maybe 2 more. The others I just gather medallions and swap for Anypets when I hit 10. I’ve got close to 20 Anypets now, and I’m saving for when I get into finish line range on any of the ones on my list.

Greetings from Wisconsin…were we are under a Winter Storm Warning. We are expected to get anywhere from 4 to 8 inches of snow this afternoon and tonight! It’s going melt the next day, but come on, it’s almost May! I do love the peeps here as they refer to themselves as ‘hearty’ people. There is a 5K, 10K race near me and they are going ahead with it! LOL They have plows ready to keep the streets clear.
I feel like everyone else…Spring just got crazy busy and the month has flown by. I’m still working on all the challenges and medallions too.
gaga—Stella is six months old now and crazy at times. 🙂 She ‘graduates’ from puppy class this afternoon. Next week we start AKC Canine Good Citizen class. She will actually have to behave in that one! 🙂 She’s actually done really well and is a good mix of a loving sweet pup and crazy full of energy pup. I hope things get better with the rolling computer mess. It’s got to be so difficult when you are trying to help your patients and they just make it harder and harder. Enjoy the weekend with your family!

April sorry to hear about your snow, we had a wind storm last night and it blew all the pink petals off the trees so it looked like it was snowing. I guess that doesn’t count though. Your puppy sounds adorable.
Dixie thanks for your words of encouragement. The husband used to be my favorite person and some one I liked spending time with. He was very very cruel and unkind to me when I got sick and ending in the hospital last June. He said and did things that shattered the illusion of equal partnership that I always thought marriage was.
Dee, we are having a late Easter celebration this weekend because the daughter was in Seattle celebrating her 21st. We are having turkey, stuffing, beans almondine, brussel spouts with bacon, cauliflower with cheese sauce, mashed potatoes and gravy. We always start with a cheese tray and pickles. For dessert we are having strawberry shortcake, dark chocolate cookies with white chocolate chips and for the kids rice crispy squares made with fruitloops.
I still have a few medallions to collect so I better get going.

moms… heading over to see my nephew in his prom garb !! My brother and I will be the photographers for our sister who is heading to my nieces recognition ceremony where she will be graduating college from in May and staying to get her master’s degree… I am so proud of these kids because they had a pretty rough home life when they were young… and have done so well … and really nice polite healthy loving kids !! Not having been able to have kids of my own… they are so special to me and am a very proud “gaga” !! (godmother) !! ( tears welling up in my eyes).
Catmom.. if there is anything else you are missing let us know… Your dinner sounds so delicious ! …. I was afraid to ask about your dh… thought he might have gone to the curb………..my heart breaks for you and how he is treating you….

The outfits… I think there was a Welder’s outfit, a crash test dummy outfit, a construction worker… some miscellaneous clothes like tangerine flats, orange skirt … Let me see what I can come up with.

April, we are under the same storm warning as you. Hubby just came back from what was supposed to be a 2 hour trip and it was intensely WHITE. He couldn’t see more than 100 yards in front of his rig. Traffic on the highway had slowed to 7 km/h that is like less than 5 mph. In the time that it took for him to drop off his load 6 inches of snow piled on his flatdeck.
Great to hear how Stella is doing. You will have a much better behaved pup at the end of all this. I envy you.

I received a reminder that our deluxe accounts were being renewed back on March 22. We still had the family deal because I never turned it off. It said it would be renewed on April 20th. I received a notification on April 22 that we got a reward for a purchase and checked the accounts had been renewed for deluxe and I think there was a new pet code added to the list on there for the active membership. When I logged on the accounts today they weren’t deluxe anymore found five emails saying deluxe was terminated. My husband checked that we were charged for the deluxe renewal on April 19th. The termination emails were from around 5:30 am this morning. What the heck. There are no active memberships on the estore account now even though I have two other deluxe accounts through it separate from the family package and the pet codes on the family membership are not on there anymore as they are so bad about emailing everything I think that was the only place we had those codes. I am not sure they were all adopted. The other two accounts aren’t on auto renewal I bought the codes on sale to use later. It looks like it is still giving the deluxe price in the store so somewhere they know there is a deluxe account associated or that part hasn’t caught up.

Yes, Momz, I’m hoping working with students will help with adjustments … although I have so many interests that I would like to pursue! I am a nerd in the truest sense of the word, in that I love to learn new things. With dh working very long hours, I at least will have the better part of my evenings to get into something new.
Finally got done with Crystal Seas … don’t know how you all can do it more than once. My space bar (or any other key) doesn’t work to shoot things, so I basically have to float around and just avoid things. But I really loved the prize, so … the things we do.
Adopted my Kiwi, and placed him in the Stone Age room. He looks great there and seems happy and right at home. Very cute pet.

Really cold and windy here this morning but no signs of flurries that were predicted…. Call from my sister last night 1145.. prom kids safe at after prom at the high school…
tmt… what a mess with your Deluxe Family Membership ! I have called several times to e store and no one ever answers the phone… I left messages but no return call ! Have had the most luck… e mailing Ganz support and issues have at least been addressed and fixed…
April… I don’t know how I missed Stella’s Easter picture the first time around but I was able to go back and see her … What a darling picture !! You should send it somewhere (contest) and I am sure she would win ! How did you ever get her to leaver her bunny ears on ?? So cute !! She sure did grow !

Well, we got a HUGE bowl of oatmeal and now …it’s all gone 🙄 But we’re expected to stay in this … vortex for about a week. So all the buzzing lawnmowers will be quiet for a bit.
I know that south of us (not even an hour away) they got about 6 to 10 inches of the wet sticky stuff. Here is a picture of one lady’s deck furniture.

moms—Thankfully we didn’t get it as bad as some…we only got about two or three inches. But it came down fast. It was a winter wonderland here for a while yesterday. It’s already melting and I can see some green grass. It should be gone by the end of the day. It was just sad to see the pretty daffodils that had just come up with snow on them. Have fun at the movie with the fam! Sorry one has rehearsal after! Dh took the morning off on Tues. and we are going to see it. Now I just have to avoid the internet and tv until then! He wanted to go tomorrow and I was like NO…I uh, have too many things going on! LOL
Miracle—I didn’t even think about possibly being able to kinzpost stuff! And always love more than one piece of cake. 🙂
catmom—I’m so sorry about your d (as someone previously said he doesn’t deserve the h anymore) You are such a wonderful bright light here. 🙂
gaga—We can’t believe she sat still for the photo either! A second before the photo was taken dh was holding her and I was holding the ears on, we let go and the dog trainer snapped photos super fast and she just sat there. She’s been really good about the ‘stay’ command, so that must have helped. During the last 13 weeks of puppy classes we’ve put all kinds of hats (and other clothing items) on them to get them used to it, in the event you need to put coats or boots on your dog, then they don’t freak out. Have a wonderful day with the fam!
Off to catch medallions as I can’t miss another day! Three more days to put in codes!

First Baltimore Oriole of the season arrived today at the bird feeder ! Lots of gold finches despite the weather… Turned out to be pretty nice day !
How was the movie ?
My nephew had a great time at the prom ! One of 5 kids chosen from his high school to appear in local commercial saluting 2019 graduates.. filming next weekend ! Most his his friends have made their decisions for college… he remains on waiting list………………… Praying for acceptance email from Case !

Thanks for the advice. I’ll try the phone in the morning if no answer go the email route. I don’t really do face book my hubby sort of has one. As a last resort I will go there. Worried going to miss the deluxe day and boxes for the month because they aren’t fast on the turn around. Can’t exactly buy new ones for the couple that matter the most with it up in the air.

It is worse than they don’t answer the phone at the number they give you it is a recorded message that basically tells you to email. Because it goes straight to voice mail and the message says they don’t reply to voice mails. Is no point in them putting the phone number in the email they should just have the email. Thanks to Gagagee’s warning I had the email already written ready to send after I got off the phone but without the chance of the phone, I’d of sent it out Saturday morning.

OD gets home from school on Thursday so we are waiting on her to see the movie. Hubby doesn’t like going to first weekends anyway. YD got frustrated by deliberate misinformation from a class mate who saw it first day so googled some info, which she shared.

tmt—oh no, that’s the pits when you someone ruins the movie for you. Kinda glad we are seeing today so I don’t accidentally find out. I hope they can help you fix your deluxe accts through email. Email always works for me, but it does take a day or two. I could never get through by phone.
