Daylight Savings Time!
Besides Webkinz World keeping us busy with the Fashion Week floaties through Sunday (remember WW in Today’s Activities & floaters as well as WKN floater), this is the weekend that we change the clocks.
Sunday morning at 2 am SPRING FORWARD one hour!
The St. Patrick’s Day shenanigans begin Monday with the Leprechaun Hunt & Lucky Coin codes! (I still need to adopt on of the St. Patrick’s Day pets to name Shenanigans!

dh and i did a little road trip and lunch at a texas roadhouse……ever been to one? waaaaaaaay too much food, but good……..and the best waitress we have had in years……….i let my tip reflect that and talked to the manager on the way out

and regarding lunch……….how on earth do folks do appetizers, lunch and then dessert? this place we went to gave peanuts in a bucket…yum yum
and rolls with cinnamon butter…………..I mean i could fill up on that!
and there is this (i believe) southern thing where they ask if you want a to go cup for your beverage…………….good grief……..no wonder americans are so heavy and diabetic!

Oh Dee, you most certainly do not get to corner the market on obesity. I am sure we Canadians could easily Tweedle Dee to your Tweedle Dum 🙄 Certainly wouldn’t be able to tell us apart from the rear in a shopping mall, I must say.
I recall stopping in at a restaurant in South Dakota. We had Biscuits and Gravy, chicken Fried steak, mashed potatoes. And it was way less expensive than eating anywhere in a Canadian restaurant.
The gravy was a white gravy with bits of breakfast sausage in there. It was nectar of the Gods and fare fit for kings.

I am so behind on Fashion Week! Between family here this past week, to floors, to new gawky computer (it’s getting better, but I still think “Dumas” is going to be his name), and painting trim and Kiddo, *whew* I’m out of the loop. I actually got frustrated the other day hopping around the clubhouse looking for the Leprechaun- HA, he’s not til next week. Whoops! 😀
We played outside for 2 hours today, sitting in the chickweed patch nibbling leaves and watching a Mason Bee buzz around. Played soccer. Hoed in the garden (yay peas!). I love Spring in Atlanta!

Very cute webkinz name momskinz.
I have been to a Texas road house. We were surprised by all of the peanut shells on the floor the first time. I like that they have sweet potatoes.
One of the best things about vacations in Ohio is the sausage gravy and biscuits for breakfast. Even at the sort of awful free hotel breakfasts they are decent.

Dee – My parents love texas roadhouse. They have good baked potatoes! I go with them sometimes and get a potato and stemmed veggies. You’re right about the amount of food, wayyy too much. A potato and veggies are enough for me.

The codes give you coin boxes and in them you can win one of the gummies, or a special Emerald one, or a Special chocolate one. I have them all, so I won’t be using the codes.

But I can no longer eat big meals like that. And even when we did go..could never do dessert, and always took food home. Good food, but now one of those meals would take me three days to finish lol.
And love the peanuts..though I could never brush the shells on to the floor ..ugh

So someone FINALLY actually pushed my ring doorbell today!!!
I was still in bed so I answered from the phone..it was mailman.he’d brought the airbrush makeup kit dh bought me.
So I said to hubby..can I practice on you? His face was priceless he looked at me like I’d lost my mind! Lol then he says..ok, can’t hurt, not permanent it washes off..huh? Wow..so did not expect that answer.

As to the party..it was ok. We were still tired from week..dh had bags under eyes..asked me to use derma plex on him..what a difference in less then 5 mins! Enough to fool everyone and get him alot of compliments. Our son showed up around 10 pm first thing he said was hoe good his dad looked..dh fessed up…son stared at him , speechless.
Then says with a smirk..and you used to bust my chops about me making sure my hair was perfect!?
I lmbo .hilarious.
Btw..those 200 jello shots went in two hours! Only 27 friends… i dont know how they could eat that many.
I don’t make them weak…bday girl was…trashed. but there were designated drivers for the big drinkers thank goodness! I did 2 drinks dh drank soda. Too tired from long week.
But it was nice to see old friends. Even if I had to talk myself into going. Lol

Enchanted – We have watched the Downton Abbey series several times. Haven’t watched the Queen Victoria one, although we may have seen the first episode. Dh gave me the dvd on Thursday night, so we watched first episode of Season 4 Poldark. Did the next one on Friday night. It is something we do with our youngest dd, who is a young adult living at home with us. Oh, sent a FR to you from Royalmajesty.
Gaga – One of my go to meals for a large gathering is taco salad, where everyone makes their own. It is simple, but delicious. I try to have meat variations and veggie variations so that everyone is happy.

Enchanted – I’m with you on finding the rare items on WKN, although I don’t try every day like you are. But I have 10 accounts so you would think that would increase my chances. Haven’t been online much this week, so fashion week is passing me by! I was on two hours one day and only had four floaties. It just takes too long to collect, in my opinion!

Can’t believe I was up at 330 !! (New Time) Way too early… but made some coffee and caught up in WW….I am anxious to hear what everybody’s opinion on the announcement of Webkinz Desktop… Not being to savvy with technology… sounded like a solution for longevity of Webkinz…and all of those who have been loyal followers for years….

Dee, those codes are only valid on those days. Today is only the tenth and the first day is the 11th. So, the first one will only be valid on March 11, and the second on the 12th and so on and so on.
Apparently, I have trouble with communication, I’m sorry.
Euro and Asian accounts are going to be glitchy for the next 6 months, now.
The Kinztime clock says it’s 11 pm right now in Asia, when it’s actually rollover.
This will cause some of the hourly events to state not available at that time.
Hopefully they go back to all day events for duration of DST.

just did up a passel of home fries……..just red taters diced with salt and pepper
added to the sausage with peppers and onions i cooked earlier……looks like bfast burrito time! dh loved the last ones…….and they def lasted five weeks in the freezers……..so gonna wrap more up tomorrow after i buy tortillas and cook the eggs……….burrito size tortillas……..fyi. i bought smaller ones the first time and it was a joke to get everything into a taco size one…….thankfully dh can wrap burritos like a mad man! I just lay out the tortilla on plastci wrap and he rolls and i wrap

It isn’t good that they are making a desk top version of webkinz still using flash, means they aren’t bothering to actually move it to another type of platform or make the app version (at least for now) contain the rest of the game. Flash is going away for a reason it is a security risk. I am concerned using it outside of a browser it may be worse for picking up viruses and there won’t be security updates.

afaik, there’s nothing wrong with flash, other than its inclusion in the browser, since that opens it up for exploits.
A desktop version, where all it is is the controlled environment of webkinz, should be 100% fine.

They had this issue back in 2016, 2017, 2018 … It’s an ongoing thing. Eeven in 2013 and 2011. I checked. Lucky is glitchy. They have never really figured out what happens that first day. Which probably explains why you have 7 days to find 6 coins 😆
