It’s a miserable game to begin with, Moms. The dodge and duck games are always a lot harder until you can figure out a pattern. I have several mega challenges that are still sitting outstanding because of Bananza and Tropical Troubles, Dex Dangerous … you know those type of games OH and Ant Mania YUCK, I don’t like either of those games. They set my teeth on edge.

They were able to fix the tooth quickly, just ground it down a little. I’ve been going to the same dentist since I was very little. They’re good and they’ve dealt with a lot of my nonsense over the years. I used to run around the lobby to get away from them. I’ve never been a fan of dentists.

Choco, when I was young, I used to bite the dentist’s fingers. I did NOT like the one we had when I was younger! When we switched to a new dentist, I liked him much better, and miraculously stopped biting. 😉

we love hardwood floors, but when we first started redoing places, it was very very costly and everyone said they fade in sunlight and are not very pet tough

It’s “stranded”, which means the bamboo fibers (strands) are tangled together instead of being a chunk of bamboo, which makes is considerably stronger than regular bamboo floor. It’s engineered hardwood, which means it’s a little strip of bamboo adhered to a high-quality composite wood (meaning it won’t warp and flex too much in humid or dry conditions. Solid Bamboo is just straight bamboo all the way through, and it can flex and buckle and warp if exposed to high humidity. This one being secured to the composite keeps it from moving much). “Carbonized” just means it’s darker in color, but not stained. “AquaGuard” is a speciality layer underneath- all the plastic/waterproofing/underlayment that you need for hardwood are already installed to the underside of each board, AND it is water resistant for up to 30 hours! It can go in kitchens and bathrooms, and other potentially damper areas of your house better than any other kind of bamboo. It clicks together, and can sit right on top of the old vinyl floor we have (making a “floating floor”). It has a lifetime residential warranty, and is a 5 of 5 on the hardness scale for durability. They DO recommend to shield it from direct sunlight, and where we are putting it will not receive hardly any direct sun. It’s $2.99/sq foot, and for our 390 square foot entryway, kitchen, dining room, back room, and bathroom, it was only about $1,300 for half our downstairs. 38 boxes, at 30 pounds per box! They even shipped it to us, and dropped a pallet at our door! We’re super thrilled at how perfect this floor should be for us, and I can hardly wait to shuffle around on it in socks! 😀

Happy Saturday Friends!!!! Hope everyone has had a fabulous Feb!!! I wanted to say thank you to the kind folks that have sent me wish list items. People are very nice around here.
Been working odd hours lately and getting cancelled a lot. Not enough patients to warrant my PRN schedule. I don’t do well if I don’t have work to do. I end up just sitting around and getting depressed. Or worse retail therapy lol, not great idea when the pay checks are low.
That being said I have found some good deals at Goodwill. Found a Webkinz velvety elephant and hampster for less than a dollar with tags attached!!! Made my day. Also found some beautiful handmade hats and scarves, hope we get another cold snap so I can wear them. Temps here in the 80’s now. Not very wintery lol.

Chilly here today, and grey and spitty AGAIN. Kiddo was restless (and in our bed) from 4-6:30am. He’s begun dropping afternoon nap, but he still needs the sleep, so being overtired means he’s restless and talking in his sleep. This morning, he was either asleep, or had just woken up from a dream, and he was SCREAMING “I want to GO OUTSIDE!” Full on screeching this! He repeated a few times, until I finally said “Kiddo- we’re not going outside right now. It’s 5:15 in the morning.” And he fell right back asleep. Poor overtired, hates-to-sleep almost-three-year-old.

Dee…poor kitties….I was serious about the boxes..my cat loves when I give him a vary board box and dangle string..he also love playing with an ice cube thrown into a water dish…yes weird cat..he has to have at least 1 ice cube a day, he let’s me know when he wants it by pulling the dish across the floor until I get up and throw a cube in..lmbo a game he created when bored one day!

Moms, the ring is up as of today, and fully operational.
I love how much the lens actually sees..wide lens, it’s nice during day, but the night vision is not as clear as I thought it would be! Kinda disappointed about the. But I can now see LIVE feed from wherevery I am on my phone, and also TALK to or HEAR someone. That’s pretty cool.
Found out by accident that the microphone is so good it picks up neighbors IN their house, with windows closed!

They are extremely loud talkers..lol and I can hear people walking up the street loud and clear too. That was,a huge surprise. Only thing I don’t like is its batter operated. I didn’t hook it to the actual doorbell wires yet, as I don’t have a digital doorbell, yet, and it can I guess mess up a mechanical one, or so says the instructions. Sooo were going to get a new doorbell next..one you can change to different sounds. Then I can hook the ring up to the wires, which I’m guessing helps keep it powered. Have to read up a little more.

I did get to scare two people tonight..they stopped in end of my driveway arguing, so I turned on live feed to see what the ruckus was. Saw them there and could hear them really loud ..so I said HEY! Can you two please get out of my driveway and go argue with each other somewhere else, your setting off my alarms!
Could have heard a pin drop..lmbo! They were looking towards my voice, I don’t think they could see the ring. I wasnt positive they’d hear me but they did..and it stopped the argument. Lol

And I also saw on the news that the police in Wolcott ct are using the ring app to work with people who have the ring installed. Not exactly sure how yet. But I know there is a feature called neighbors on the app, it a lows ring users to POST video etc for other ring users to view, kinda like a neighborhood watch. That’s really neat, they post what happened like cars broken into etc, and all ring users get notified of stuff happening in their area!!

chant – ooooooohhhhh i want that! it’s kind of creepy, too, but I would love being able to see who is at the door without going to the door – we have a door bell that is wired into our electrical and has the various chime options, so maybe i could wire in the ring

Good Morning All !
dee… I remember Mrs. Kravitz and use her name on occasion when referring to nosy neighbor… Have recently called my self Mrs Kravitz !! My next door neighbor has recently gotten a dog ( within the past 2 months ) and for whatever reason… he chooses NOT to pickup after his dog… I live in a townhome community and share not only a walkway … but front yard.. I have picked up after his dog on several occasions but I have also called the Management Company at least 4 times !!!! He lets her out the front door without a leash to do her business…. (on the walkway) and other places… This man rents the unit and doesn’t think it is his responsibility to clean up….I am afraid to confront him…. did that with a previous renter and he ended up being crazy !!! I was afraid for my safety !!! So I am letting the Management company handle him…..
Dixiecup… copied the pets you are looking for and will check to see if I have any of those pets you need…Busy day today but will look tomorrow and let you know either way…
Weather here is a bit worrisome… Forecaster predicting the worst winds in 25 years… giving emergency info on the news .. most are common sense things but will be watchful… Was planning on doing some grilling today for our Sunday family gathering but will rethink once I get over to my Mom’s..

And while all of you are getting the high winds and rain, we are getting yet another polar vortex. We were out of it for about 2 or 3 days where I didn’t have to wear long johns and extra layers, now we’re right back in it at -31 this morning. Will this ‘Winter of Discontent’ ever end?
And Dee, I am thinking some of us are near to the same age. 🙄 The name Kravitz is synonymous with nosy neighbors. Edith is dingbat, Michael was Meathead and Gloria was Little Goil. Though, I never quite understood why Archie could say ‘Terlet’ but he couldn’t say girl.
Gaga, save the ‘doggy donuts’ in a paper sack and drop them in his mailbox on a particularly warm day with a little note saying, ‘You seemed to have misplaced these, felt that we should return them to their rightful owner.’….Unless you all have CMB lockers out there.

Dee – that penguin game. Not completely terrible, but definitely not one i’d play if i didn’t have to. Why can’t we get one for something like tile towers? I love that game, even after I quit webkinz for years I’d still log in sometimes just to play that.

Good evening! Cramming as usual on Sunday eve for the classes I teach on Monday. Several setbacks this week. Unexpected company – my son, his wife and her father. They were without electricity and their generator wasn’t working either. So they hung out with us for two days. During that time we had spotty internet connection to none, which was frustrating to this WW addict. I say setbacks regarding company, but I actually enjoyed that part! It is so much fun to have family around. The setback was getting behind in my RL work.
Just finished grabbing deluxe prizes on two accounts. It is really windy here and when that happens we sometimes lose internet. Sigh! So I’ve been trying to get done what I can in case that happens. There has been some flickering with internet connection. Oh, the earlier internet problem was due to the fact we needed a new router. Husband took care of that yesterday.
I would love an egg salad sandwich, Dee! Putting my order in! 😉
New trophy challenge is okay. Not good at that game, but I don’t mind it as much as some of the others (such as Webkinz Rally).
Back to work! Sigh!

Started the challenge, this game isn’t too bad. One tip I have is as soon as the giant bee/wasp thing appears, run into it. You’ll lose a life, but it doesn’t seem to respawn after. This is very helpful because it follows you instead of roaming aimlessly like the others.
