Oh, I meant to mention that my husband and I were talking to our son & his wife the other day on the phone. My husband mentioned that he had taken the Christmas decorations up to the attic and decided to do some de-cluttering while he was up there. I piped in that I needed to do some de-cluttering, too. My son immediately asked me, “Mom, are you talking about your Webkinz house or your house in real life?” LOL! Well, in truth, I had to admit both. But I thought it was so cute that asked that! Ha ha!

miracle—I have trouble find stuff too. I’ve slowly been renaming and moving rooms to help, but I think I might be a work in progress forever too.

hello everyone, sorry its been a while. I am still in one of the busiest parts of the quarter, and even though we had over a week where the campus was closed due to the 16 inches of snow we got a little over a week ago, even then I was writing papers and teaching plans for my online classes.

i was talking about pizza earlier moms!
we went to blaze the other day……..dh eats a whole pizza and i bring half a pizza home………..i feel so sorry for him……….that i told him to go ahead and eat my pizza……….sure enough, woke up the next morning and wanted pizza!
i swear he waited until i went to the bathroom to eat my leftovers!
so now i feel gypped on my pizza
it had sausage, pepperoni, salami, banana peppers, pineapple and onions. and i had them add a schmear of the pesto on the crust………..boo hoo
now I really want pizza!

dee – agh! we have a fantastic local pizza place for more authentic, and another place that makes good NY style pizza – i made a sort of “pizza” type thing – whole grain flatbread topped with a mix of chicken, black beans, and salsa (salsa with peppers & onions, etc. – however you like it) sprinkled with a little 2% mozarella – they are good but in a healthier way than i’m in the mood for at the moment LOL

Another piece of exciting news is that my oldest dd, just got accepted into grad school. There were lots of applicants and not many spaces, so we are absolutely thrilled! She is my dd that loves to play Webkinz! I’ve had to keep up her account since she has been in school. 🙂

Queen, no company..I have fibromyalgia and other health issues, soooo, when I have a good day, I tend to go for it. Lol you’d think I’d know better, as it lands me in bed for a couple of days, but the house is clean and smells good. .makes me feel good. And plenty of left overs for guys to pick at. So even though my body feels like it’s been on a medieval torture rack, it’s worth it to me. Lol

Checked out the pets on sale… wish they would have put some past hard to get webkinz to choose from.. not surprised though..
Started practicing Tropical Troubles… terrible at that game !! But would really like to get one trophy.
Maybe new room theme is going to be a prison !
moms..nice of you to help your mil shop some paint ! Sometimes wish I had a personal shopper to help change things up a bit… so many choices…
Missed the freezing rain yesterday… but lots of rain.. supposed to stop today..

Momzkinz, I am trying to re-create my Granddaughter’s account that she deleted 🙄 So far, I think I have most of the pets. She started in 2007, I will have to go back and look, I kept a record of most of the pets and I just want to make an account that she can go back to and fondly recall. I think she deleted in haste. It’s a LONG story and maybe someday I will tell it. But for now, I will say that I was not allowed contact with her when she was ‘adopted’ by another family. ‘It would cause too much confusion.’

And if the trophy is sendable, its one game I am fairly good at. I posted a bunch of tips on WKN and in WI
#1) take your time. This isn’t a timed event. Especially in the begining of the game.
#2) The walking spiders only go so far and then turn around.
#3) be careful with pineapples, they roll toward you, be prepared to jump. But use them effectively.
#4) the flies have a flight pattern, but the big ones you have to watch out for
#5) you are invincible for a couple of seconds after you’ve been hit, use it to your advantage
#6) you can use the duck (and hold the down arrow) to slip to a branch beneath you to escape a spider quicker.
#7) eat lots of bananas LOL

She did…. I was ‘poking my nose’ in her businesss, trying to help her clean it up and then I got a message because it was tied to my email. The account was going to be permanently deleted by July 12 and to click on the link. If I had know for ONE SECOND that if I left the link alone it could not be deleted, I would’ve never touched it. I figured by clicking the link I could still go in and ‘change her mind.’ But no, as soon as you click on the link it completes the process. Then I just sat there, dumbfounded. If I had acted within the week it stil could’ve been retrieved, but I think it was 10 days later I begged them to re-instate it. They said once it’s past that grace period it is untetrievable and that I wanna welcome to create a new account.

Very upset. My bite is now off because of the tooth they fixed. It sticks up further than it should and pushing on the tooth above it. Can’t close my teeth all the way because it’s extremely uncomfortable. Scheduled and appointment for the morning to fix it and I’m stressed. Dentists cause me to have extreme anxiety (hence the need for the v alium). It’s never a pleasant experience for me and now I have to repeat that experience again.

Moms- isn’t this rain a MESS!? Our yard is a squishy mud pit. A loose dog (friendly and super sweet, thankfully) ran up and down our neighborhood a few days ago, and churned up our yard into a swill of dirt clods, grass clumps, and smeary paw prints. Little booger!! I planted peas last weekend, thinking “It’ll be a great time! It’s supposed to rain this week, and that’ll be perfect for the peas!” UHM they’re buried under 2-3 “mini-mudslides” of swishy dirt. I hope they make it! The onions I planted uphill from the peas, and all the dirt washing over the peas CAME from the onions- so they’re uprooted and floating around. I keep poking them back into the compost. I HOPE they all survive- that was an expensive order of heirloom peas and onion sets. :/
We’re getting our kitchen cabinet box built in a week, and my mom and stepdad will be arriving at the same time to install our NEW BAMBOO HARDWOOD FLOORS! After all said and done, the repairs will be done, and we’ll have only $71leftover from the insurance money- should be just enough to replace the baseboards we need, and we’ll come out PERFECT! March 1 is 4 months since this happened, and we’ll be done with it shortly after that. THANK GOODNESS.
I’m also super relieved that my mom is coming to visit. This process has been frustrating, enraging, maddening, sad, hopeless, heartening, long, and exhausting. I’m looking forward for my mommy to come and help “make everything all right” again.
Dixie, I’m heartbroken to hear about your granddaughter’s Webkinz account! I debated deleting mine (heck, I wondered if I could sell it for a while, on Craigslist, or something: “Webkinz account, 36+ pets, multiple rares and exclusives. Will change password to suit”), but I’m really glad I didn’t. I must be hard work to try and restore the account. Does she know you’re doing that for her? 🙂

so sacrificing some pizza is worth it.

choco – that stinks about your tooth……my dd seems to have that problem alot with her retainer fitting afterwork……..thankfully our wonderful dentist and us have figured it out, so she always has a next day recheck…….hard to tell afterwards when gums are swollen etc………but there are many good and nice dentists out there………keep them forever when you find your one!

I just redid my half bath downstairs..it has a tile floor that’s old, I didn’t want the mess of chipping it out to redo it..so I found something that pours over the top of it..almost like painting it, the video shows kids doing it, says it’s easy to do..it’s some kind of acrylic apoxy in colors and you can add stuff to it..I forgot what it’s called, but I think that’s what I may do and no mess to speak of..I’ll write more after I research it more!

Hopefully I can do it soon, as that is the only thing I didn’t do in there..sigh, I know doing it backwards, wish I’d found it BEFORE while it was torn apart. But as usual, I find the neat stuff after the fact! But it will still be worth taking out the sink and toilet just to pour out a new beautiful floor! I’m thinking of adding silver glitter into a black floor…just not sure yet.

Finally Friday !
Choco… sorry about the problem with your tooth… hopefully will be able to fix it today ! Love my dentist… was one of his first patients .. have been with him for 43 years… don’t know what I will do when he retires !! No mention of it yet but he is no kid… Have 6 month check up tomorrow…
Beautiful day here yesterday… Actually drove home with sunroof open.. Temperature was a bit chilly ( 45) but sunshine was so nice !

Moms, I don’t think I have permission to author my own posts? I have looked over the instructions and I can’t even get started. I think I am giving up, now. It’s just like the GE in WI, I just don’t get it and I am better off just giving my stuff away, it causes way too much anxiety for me.
