Thinking that the election was rigged for Sophie to win…..
Still can’t get over the promotional package for those who spend $2,000 at the e-store. If we did spend that much, who would want to admit it???? If I did, and I adopted the pet, my pet would be tied to the WW house, and not visit park, clubhouse or tournament arena. I would NOT want anyone to know that I spent that much money. Just saying……
Dee – not familiar with the Cincinnati area, but if you come to VA there is a good German restaurant called The Bavarian Chef. It is out in the country, but worth the drive (for me, at least since I’m in the same state). Everything that I have ordered there is SO delicious. We don’t travel there often, but every once in a while we will go there for a special occasion.

ResonatingThunder has submitted so much in the line of superior artwork and all of it has been denied. This is the person who made the raccoon with the ‘tanooki tail’ for a pet buddy and a lot of other really nice designs. I was so pleased to see this one take a finalists’ position. That swan lake dress was a very close second in my books, but I really liked that monochrome grey top that was especially chic. I was kind of hoping they would take one from every style of clothing and not mostly dresses.

This is the most shameful cash grab I have ever seen, it is avarice in the highest form! Even the whole premise of having it default back to ‘0’ the following year so that you must repeat the Sisyphean task of obtaining the impossible.

The collie is a very nice looking pet, but that’s a crazy amount to spend on virtual items.

here’s my take on sophie’s rewards … i think they should be cumulative … maybe if you spend $250 in a year you have a special reward, but i wish the $2,000 prize was cumulative – not subject to an annual reset

Gaga, when it is all said and done, it is eating 10% of my annual net income.
I don’t spend that much on Gas back and forth to work, I don’t even spend that much on groceries, I don’t spend that much on my phone or my cable service. Heck, I don’t spend that much on my gas and electricity combined!!
How do they even justify that?

I KNOW GRAMMA, right?? I am so doggoned used to the are you sure that I did a double take the first time, too! And worse, yet, the discovery that I had not done the Wacky Logout prior to it just snapping off without so much as a ‘By your leave?’ I had to go back to the Newz site to see if the Logout was just disabled or if it was gone for good.
Bad news is that it has been removed to ‘help streamline the process of logout for future development.’
However, they have hinted that it may come back as part of the dailies activities, in part, so we might get the Balloon pop, then the Wacky Launch, then a Wacky pinata, but not like we do at signout.

I just spent 30 minutes catching up on all the posts I’ve missed over the last few days. I always feel so out of the “loop” when I haven’t seen the Loop Scoop for the month (so aptly named, Dee!) Some very cool things coming up …
Wow, $2,000 for a stuffed animal! They must have players that spend that much, but I sure don’t know any. I buy a Deluxe membership every year, and I feel slightly guilty for even that.
I have several accounts that expire at the end of March, so I’ve been working with them like crazy transferring everything over to my main account. Trying to get the last few Spree and Jumbleberry prizes out of them. There will be some relief to have to only keep up with a couple … although, if just the right bat signal comes along?!?!? 🙂
Thank you, Ruby and Choco, for the Wish List items! I never thought I’d get that piano or gazebo, but I had places all ready for them! And I missed a lot of the Webkinz Friends items, so I added them to the list; however, those items seem to trickle out every once in a while, so I’m hopeful most of them will show up at some point.
My WW house seems gigantic; I don’t know how you all who have been playing all this time can find everything. How do you keep track of it all? I feel like I need to do a spreadsheet!
In RL, we are still remodeling room by room, and I’ve moved on to the guest room because I can do that room myself a little cheaper. I got it all cleaned out and painted over the weekend, but now I’m thinking I want to try a fake brick accent wall with a German schmear over top. Anyone ever try anything like that? Now I just need to find another day off to tackle it. This day is already full with general cleaning and laundry …

i think i may make scones tomorrow……..brown sugar and cinnamon ones and throw in some pecans………..dd suggested walnuts, but i told her i want to try apple scones and would use walnuts in there………i really really really want baklava, but it makes so much……….maybe if we road trip to our friends in OH next month and then i can dump some on them

And I get the too much thingy!! I stopped baking because of it. Now that my police buddies are liking getting goodies I can bake again once a week. My guys get enough to be happy, and the rest goes to the cop shop for them to enjoy..and everyone is happy!
The treat this,week is banana bread with cinnamon, getting picked up tonight. After I bake it, I melt real butter and lightly brush top, and sprinkle extra sigar/ cinnamon mix on top..

My hubby is loving this so much that he bought more bananas today so I can make the next bread with chocolate chips and dates in it next week!
But I also wrote an open note to the guys downtown, and told them to let my friend know what they’d like me to make for them. Be nice to know what other things they’d like.

Chant, I line my loaf pans with parchment and then butter the parchment and sprinkle a light layer of brown sugar on the bottom. It prevents the bottom from scorching and gives a really nice flavor to the Banana bread 😉

Well, I love to bake. I have few recipes I have tweaked to make my own and some have said that my butter tarts are second to none. I bake a mean apple pie and I have a Nanaimo bar that is not sweet, but absolutely sinfully chocolatey.
I have to make some Peanut butter butterscotch confetti squares for a Baby shower at work on the 20th, a big pan won’t be enough. I won’t be bringing any home. I can make biscuits out of avocado that, even though they are slightly green tinged, you would never know that they were not made using shortening or lard. AND I have a handed down recipe from my Mom for Pumpkin pie that makes people who hate it change their minds.

Upcoming trophy with Tropical Troubles will be quite challenging ! I am terrible at that game !
There is no rhyme or reason as to how medallions are awarded in the arcade..
have been focusing on Goody Gumdrops… have gotten over 50 points and no medallion… other times ..was awarded for 35 .. Go figure… Still trying to win the trophy for that game…
Weather here to turn into freezing rain tomorrow afternoon.. Will be really happy when spring arrives !

gaga – hope you have a good day! my friends’ kiddos are waiting for acceptances – hoping mid-March. your nephew has brilliant stats, i can only imagine he will have to choose from some really good options!
we were awaiting summer intensive acceptances that are supposed to be mid/late March, but my ds got early offers from 4/5 of his applications including his top 3 – yay!!!! so he’s already booked up for the summer now, luckily his top 2 don’t conflict, so he can go to both
