   how long has this been dead? i have been reading most of the day!

   figuring my pulled pork plans! gonna do greens if i can find them. last batch was sooooooooo goood
   hope all are well………..and when is the holiday? tomorrow or next monday?

   Happy birthday Dee!!!
   Love the hummingbird swing! Didn’t know they made it..hope you aim a camera at it, and catch some beautiful shots!
   I have a black night butterfly bush. But alas only humming bird moths! Which are kinda neat. But I’d rather see the birds. We tend to get blue Jays and cardinals here. Last house I had oriels and humming birds..and lots of other things.Unfortunately the Jays and cardinals run others off I think?

   I was just in my Asian account, and did the deluxe prize machine..I got the golden suit! Happy happy! Of course I didn’t Know they had that as a prize..lol

   I need to find out all the new prizes on that..

   So, I looked at the deluxe machine prizes. Found I have at least one of each prize except the golden glasses, which I again had no idea about..lol I just got the golden column last time. I also found a golden top hat in my dock..no idea where it came from!

   As to the prize machine, now they need to make golden shoes for the suit and for the gown!

   I also stopped in to a dollar tree store few days,ago. Found 5 bags of ww cards, 4 packs in each bag, 1 pack of each series..so of course I grabbed them up. But alas, no plush pets to be found anywhere around here, so I guess it will be full price off Internet from now on.
   I shoukd have grabbed all those dollar pets I saw…but I didn’t sad to say. Now I’m kicking myself for not doing that. I don’t see they in 5 below anymore either.

    Chant, if you want to see hummers, plant Bee Balm. Try to get the bright red version- my hummers were fighting over it last year (I had a few territorial ones), and they stuck around for months. I have pink bee balm too, but they ignore it. I could go out, sit in the garden, and watch them fly. We’d startle eachother frequently coming around the corner, and sometimes, I’d be so close, they’d come check me out, and I could hear and feel their wings beat!! Put up a feeder, also- no need for expensive red dyed goop full of chemicals- just google how to mix up hummingbird nectar. They even like it clear. Also I hear that pineapple sage is a favorite plant, but mine never dig the plant I have. I think it blooms too late to attract them. I also see my hummers darting around and catching small insects too.

    A few comments that I missed earlier…..

    I’ve had a gum graft and it isn’t so bad. Nothing to fear. Some discomfort, but nothing like wisdom teeth being pulled. Soft diet for a bit, if I remember correctly.

    Gaga – somehow missed your comment about your 93 year old mom and “we”.
    We agreed to help with my dh’s mom before his dad passed away, but it is hard when we don’t live in the same town. Much of the care falls on his brother, but my dh visits her once a week. I go along if I’m free. I visited her last week, and she admitted that she might be ready for assisted living. 🙁 She is fairly healthy, recovering from a broken hip (Sept). She has done well for a 92 year old, yet I can see decline. 🙁

    April – Even though I have that handy dandy list of WW to do, I still forget things. I have tried to be on top of it with the cherry collection in park because I really want that cabinet. I will be gone all today and won’t be able to play. Doing several accounts, as usual.

    We are supposed to have rain all day and possibly wintry mix (most likely sleet or freezing rain).

    Good Morning All !
    Winter Wonderland this morning ! Was expecting a fresh blanket of snow but need to venture out shortly….
    Queen of Sheeba… WOW.. 92 year old MIL… and still living on her own..amazing.. people are living longer and longer it seems…not sure how I feel about that…coworker’s grandfather is celebrating his 100th birthday in a couple of weeks …
    Chants.. I too have looked high and low for old Webkinz…nobody carries them anymore… so sad….Even local hallmark store recently threw in the towel and stopped getting the new ones !
    dee… I am an avid birdwatcher too… last summer a red tailed hawk chased a morning dove into my garage.. it flew underneath the mini blinds and became trapped !! I like birds from a distance but I freaked out.. trying to free it from the blinds !! Eventually… it was able to fly away…however it took awhile for my heard to stop racing !!
    moms.. what is a spaghettimachine ?? play ??
    April..How is little Stella doing these days ?? How about sending us a new picture !

    i see cardinals, blue jays, hawks, falcons, eastern bluebirds, morning doves, house finches, chickadees, sparrows, woodpeckers, goldfinches and more as they fly over us…….herons and cranes
    i only feed the hummingbirds with sugar water…..they fight like mad sometimes and it is dangerous to go on my back porch!

    Well, it is rather apparent that next Monday is the long weekend (couldn’t it come sooner?)
    It’s still minus STUPID out here and now we’ve got the fine snow to go with it. Yes, I’m starting to get cabin fever and I’m getting cranky.

    It’s been a week since that silly rodent popped it’s head out of the ground and I’m wondering if winter is ever going to end.
    My buddy’s water lines have frozen in her home, my daughters water lines are blocked solid with no hope of them being recovered because as it thaws, it expands and the lines will break. People are paying tow bills because vehicles are leaving them stranded. There are hardly any people coming to the store to buy …. I really, really don’t like winter at all.

    to all of you taking care of elderly family – bless you!!!! to any of you who have family members doing the primary “care taker” role, tell the family member thank you and how much you appreciate that they are there for your loved one – i wouldn’t trade one min
    ute of my responsibilities for that time I have spent with our grandparents and now my mother, but it can be a big responsibility, and i think everyone who is a caretaker feels the weight and responsibility of it
