Hi everyone!
Great night last night ! Dh took off his walking boot, replaced 7t with an air cast. .put on both his sneakers, air cast fits inside shoe..it’s basically just a splint, but keeps ankle in place..anyway, he said let’s go! Off we went to dinner and shopping..and HE WALKED WITHOUT HIS CANE!
Omg…he’s really walking again…happy dance!!!
He was grinning ear to ear…today he is exhausted! Lmbo

Oh Chant!! How can a person not help but Smile? That is awesome news! I’m sure he’s bone weary from the exertion but he’s actually Up and walking! What a testament to his will and strength and your unwavering support. I swear, You just can’t keep a good man down!
Also, I too, won a Forest Tiled counter. I’m currently toying with it in the Christmas room, but I think it’ll work with the curio shop Green Leaf theme, too.

And yes hubby and I are happy..friends and family too! Have sooo many invites! We really haven’t socialized much since last April. .it’s so hard when 3 to 4 days,a week are dr. Appts..plus he spent almost 2 1\2 months either in hospital or rehab! And he wasn’t really feeling sociable.

But he also has 2 more surgeries. .one is a 20 min nose job so he can breathe better..lol
About two weeks after that we can schedual for his last major sugery. To unblock a completely blocked heart artery. He has a great dr. For that already. .they were just waiting toll he coukd walk, cause they want you up and moving after heart surgery! So by end of march he shoukd be completely rebuilt.like the 6 million dollar man!woot woot! !!

Do any of you use windows 10? I found that I can not do my valentine on Microsoft edge. .but I still have the last Internet Explorer and it works on there.. I’m glad I didn’t get rid of it yet. My computer keeps asking if it can get rid of it lol..nope.no way..lmbo
So I was wondering if anyone else has had this issue and if there is a fix? I couldn’t do the wheels on it before last upgrade. .now I can do all except collects..sigh

There is a known incompatibility with Webkinz and Edge.
They tried to tell people during the Acorn collection event in September, already.

I still can’t ask friends for acorns. I’ve changed pets and hidden my dock. I’ve got a “thought bubble†with nothing in it under where they show the prizes. Every time I’ve had this in the past, I’ve not been able to ask friends.

I can’t do that because I had to switch chrome for Microsoft because it stopped working in chrome. So does that mean I can never do these events?

You can try Firefox. Microsoft Edge does not work well with Webkinz World.

Love the items for the valentines collection, especially the chair and teddy bear.
Finally warmed up. It’s around 50 and the snow is melting.
Not interested in the super bowl, but I might watch the halftime show and look up some of the commercials afterwards. I’ve been watching the puppy bowl.

Well, we just started our run into the Polar Vortex, we have a couple days to go. It’s so cold that the dogs are in and out so fast that the screen door hasn’t even got time to close. The littlest is a chihuahua and when he has to ‘go’ I have to go out with him because he freezes up (not literally, but if I left him out alone he surely would) and can’t take one more step. And no, we haven’t got the box of grass, but it’s a heck of an idea I am entertaining, let me tell you.

he is off to michigan tomorrow and back home tuesday. what we call a turn and burn here…………so i will stay here……….i see no sense in long car trips if you are not staying a day or two or seeing someone or something interesting. I am an old lady so………..
plus i can get the floors superclean while he is gone………..so many motorcycles out today………..we are about a mile from the county road, but with no crops currently, you can hear them from way off………perfect day for it i guess.

PumaPardus checking in. Been a crummy couple days in PumaTown. Everybody is healthy, thank goodness, but the kitchen rebuild has hit another snafu and is stalled. Our drywall installer guy discovered a nail in the PVC drain pipe that runs from upstairs. It’s unfortunately about 1/2 inch above the concrete slab. It theoretically CAN be patched and hold indefinitely, but nobody legit will do that. The legit solution is drilling/jackhammering into the concrete to remove that piece of pipe and replace it. We’ve gotten estimates from $700-$2900 to fix it. We’re calling more plumbers, and debating patching it ourselves. I’m so overwhelmed. I’ve been having a 24/7 anxiety attack since Saturday. I’m such a hot mess right now. It’s a nightmare. I’m going to my doc on Wed to see if I can get on some anxiety medication again. Ativan is a wonderful thing, and I only have 1/4 tablet left!! This is the PITS.
I know this isn’t about Webkinz, but since I ditched FB, it’s been nice having a message board to communicate on

Puma – Sorry to hear about the past few days, hopefully things improve. Anxiety meds can be helpful, I’ve been considering trying to get back on some myself. Stopped taking them years ago, but my need for them never really went away.
Went on amazon to look for a cheap webkinz since my boyfriend’s account just turned into a free account and holy cow are some of those things expensive! $150+ for some of them! I wonder if people actually pay that much for them. I know back in the day people were shelling out big bugs for cheeky cats and dogs, but I feel like those days are long gone.

I’m looking at them, too, Choco. Good GRIEF, if they are still selling for the outrageous prices shown on Amazon, I’m sitting on a virtual fortune! I have some of those very hard to get pets, codes not used. I can’t sell them, here in Canada. People offer you 5 bucks for the plush (and that’s a signature) and toss the code in the trash. I’d soooner give it away to a child who’d bless the day they got one than a scrounger looking for a stuffie for their dog to shred.

Dixiecup.. Have saved a few of my favorite Webkinz Plushies but have give so many away … Gave them away to the trick or treaters one year…and take the rest to work to be given out to the kids who come in with a parent.. They love them !
Warm weather continues here … ? 62 yesterday… Brings hope that spring is right around the corner !
Read that Sophie is going to come up with a new gift box that looks to include the house from “UP”… Maybe tomorrow ! We will wait and see..
