Went to my first day of classes for the quarter today, and having 20 credits worth is not going to make for a fun quarter, so I just have to keep up as well as I can. Side note, whoever put up the room numbers must not know how they work, because I should not have to enter room 103 to reach 106 with room 104 nowhere to be seen and room 105 in a separate hallway next to 110. I also have to walk all the way around the library to reach room 110 of the library building since it could barely be considered connected. At least this quarter those classes should be the easier two out of the four.

I’m happy I finally got to give someone something they wanted!!! I’m not on enough to catch who wants what …so I was happy to be able to do it..I LOVE the dog beards bathtub game…and so much easier to win now that I can play against the hosts! Lol

Finally got on Webkinz for a decent amount of time today. Haven’t been on much lately, would just do dailies, if that. Thanks to all those who sent gifts!
My 2 online classes open tomorrow and my other classes start Friday. One of the classes still doesn’t have a professor assigned to it and there’s no book listed for the class yet either.

companies really should come out with the smaller bags of these new flavors (candy, chips etc) so folks can try them without being committed to big bags….
at least that is what i think………i would buy a medley of small bags to try things, but hold off on the big bags

Morning Gymbonians, and belated Happy New Year!
Thanks to all the peeps who sent me Christmas gifts! Sorry I haven’t thanked you before, but life is, well, chaotic at the moment. It’s been three weeks of misery for me. And thanks also for the continued well-wishes. They are very much appreciated!
I am *so* on the fence about that ivy fairy buddy. I bought deluxe memberships at half price on Black Friday, but my littlest one wants the fairy buddy fairly desperately. And she’s being quite a good enabler, too. “Mom, don’t you get free estore points with membership? And wouldn’t that just about pay for the membership? And membership is 10% off right now. Plllllllllllease?” with the accompanying puppy-dog eyes…wow, that’s hard to argue with!
I haven’t really been playing for the past few weeks, obviously. I might need to hit the blog up for some things once I figure out what I’ve missed, lol. I finally caught some snowflakes yesterday, and I’m starting to work on the challenges, but I bet I’ve missed something in the past month.

Ivy fairy and membership is just 105 off. Day befor was 1/2 price so you DO pay for the fairy. I chose to live without it. Deluxe item bothers me . If you go to Fairy Falls look top LEFT of the rooms. The photo of NEW DELUXE item is plainly there. Winner only added the slide. Weren’t we supposed to design our own item for this contest. Just feels wrong and very little work Since WEBKINZ did most of the work. ESTORE -Magic W HAT KIND of a let down I have 5 DELYXE accounts in WEBKINZ . But HAT was given at EStore for Deluxe accounts. I have 2 and 1 more but its somehow not listed as Deluxe . No one answeres phone to fix things . Again just seams like its just not right . Since I paid for all my accounts. I hope SOPHIE gets better ! I THINK I wasnt a RECALL ELECTION and VOTE HER OUT OF OFFICE ON FALSE PROMISES !

LLP? I have a couple of those lil enablers who know how to make it count. You have a full month for them to wear you down LOL. So you will have to be made of steel to say no all month, or you might have to invest in earplugs, in which case I will be buying stock.
TMT5, they did have the DoDo last year at this time, but the price wasn’t nearly so good. They also had the Cocoa Dinosaur, so I already bought me a couple of spares.
I didn’t go for the Ivy Fairy, but that’s ok for me, because I really don’t like those things buzzing around my pets’ heads. I play on mobile, quite a bit, and those things giggle if you tap them and when you’re in a hurry to get your FS points, that’s annoying.
QofS, I DO recall the endless snowflakes others would get. I was on an ‘orphan server’ that seemed to be forgotten and I would get one every hour or so. I was lucky if I got one of each item. I was not one of the fortunate ones.
I wrote email upon email and spoke to a person at HQ and she told me that ‘there was a chance’ that I would see snowflakes, it was no guarantee.
And Sorry, MomT, I cannot agree with you. I like Sophie in office.
When I started swearing at the screen because things weren’t going my way, I realized this was NOT me! I stopped webkinz for a while, took a breather for about a year and a half, then came back when I could stop being so negative about Webkinz, eStore, Ganz and the whole lot.
Now, I don’t worry as much if I miss things. It is just stuff. I mean when it comes to stuff, I have more stuff than I can recall and still getting more than I know what to do with.

gramma… thanks for concern over missing my morning post yesterday !
All is well here… Employer required mandatory training yesterday for new medication dispensing system… Still on vacation but needed to go… Left here at 7 am and had so much to do yesterday… didn’t get home till after 7.. No rest for the weary !! Return to work on Tuesday.. but have really enjoyed my time off.
Heading for eye appointment shortly… should be my only obligation today… except stopping in to check on my Mom….

OOOO, GAGA, did you get a Parata? If so, you are going to love the convenience. That thing can dispense over 1000
Types of common prescriptions and it’s really cool to see it’s process!
Right after you send instructions to the machine it goes ‘psssssh’ and then it counts the pills and pops them into a jar, seals it and labels it!
You still have to count it to make sure they’re all there (because once in a while the counter is a bit off and has to be recalibrated) but all in all, it’s such a huge time saver!

i joked when my grandmother was in the hospital that right next to to automatic hand sanitizer dispenser they needed to install one for xanax … sounds like ya’ll have that to dispense! 😉
and that my friends is why i’ve never tried xanax or other drugs LOL i would probably like them too much!

The building does remind me of the maze in the twilight forest mod for Minecraft. Luckily the center is just a sound stage. If there is one good thing I can say for the building it’s that is has open pianos for students to play. The better students will sometimes come and play a movie score or suchlike which I myself think makes the atmosphere so much better.

So many more big issues in this world. I’m not going to take my pixels with me when I go. 100 years from now, it won’t even matter. All my Winterfest Eggnog will be dried up and fossilized by then. Some kid can throw it in their rock polisher and make a nice necklace for their mom.
So, speaking of catching flakes, how’s everyone doing? I’m catching a lot of last years’ stuff and maybe a pair or two of the purple pants. But nothing really outstanding.

*waves* Hi all!! WOW, spend a few days traveling home, and you have a lot to catch up on! YAY Winterfest- I’m loving catching snowflakes, but I’m not getting anything too exciting. Kiddo caught sight of the ATV Grant Prize from Winterfest Cookies, and is VERY INTERESTED, so I might splurge on some cookies.
Speaking of vehicles, has anyone noticed that since the moving rooms update, vehicles get stuck in doorways while moving between rooms? They’re easy to get unstuck- just move the room, and put it back (and the item goes back to your dock), but it’s a mild pain when Kiddo loves driving EVERYTHING around your house.
He got a new Webkinz while we were on holiday: a ragdoll cat with the doofiest sewing on it’s fast- it’s eyes are so low down on it’s face! I guess it’s supposed to be that way, but it looks so silly! We named it Derpy- I was sort of surprised Webkinz allowed it!
Also in our Kinz family is Crispin (Snowy Retriever, and my 50th pet!!!), Cinnamon (Spice Cat- WITH a plush. OH, he is so soft.), Derpy the ragdoll, Spinner the Otter pup, and Tilo, the Leopard Cub. I followed a blog who adopted a leopard cub and named him Milo, and that name just stuck in my head. I had hoped naming him Tilo (Swahili for “sparrow”) would stick, but I guess his nickname is forever going to be Milo.
Kiddo woke up yesterday inconsolable sad, miserable crying, lethargic, and saying his ear hurt. I bundled him to his chiropractor, because a gentle chiropractic adjustment to the neck bones can open the tubes that drain the ears, and allow an infection to disappear in a matter of hours- or less! Almost an instant remedy for ear problems! It was spectacular. He went from holding the right side of his head and ear and being droopy and miserable and demanding to be carried everywhere, to climbing into his chiro’s arms, allowing her to adjust his back, hips, and sinuses for optimal drainage, and walking out of the waiting room. He rode home talking and chattering, and we played and ate the rest of the day. A 180 degree difference, and it was way cheaper and easier than dragging him to the doc’s germ-riddled office, getting antibiotics he certainly didn’t really need, and paying a huge fee. I <3 chiropractors!!

Ok,..went to finally see rheumatologist .
I really like this new dr. I’ve met others who have made me feel like they think I’m faking it…well this guy took his time..asked a TON of questions…I went prepared..I had taken pictures of the weird things that happen to my body IE.rashes, hives,blotchy skin, bruising..
Plus showed him new rashes and bruises ..

Showed him a picture of me from last august.. not trying to float my own boat..but I had a goid month in august.and my dh saud I was looking like I was in my early 3os..I’m 54. We had gone out and I’d put a little makeup on.. we took pictures with friends…well I showed dr. That pic..and his mouth popped open..he saud that’s YOU last august?? Yup. He was shocked he then says..wow you’re really sick , you look so different now…huge difference.I saud yeah I know looks like I aged 15 years almost overnight..he agreed..
He was very very shocked…he saI’d he’s gonna do everything he can to find out what’s going on with me..
He also said he was glad I had those photos because it really helps to see the changes.
He then proceeded to poke and prod my whole body..ugh.I have been really bad past two weeks..so I’m glad he got to see me on one of my worst days. He then sent me to get blood drawn…11 vials taken! HOLY COW! I have never had that much taken at one time..I also have never seen any of the tests he’s doing…there were even a couple with DNA . So he’s really digging around.
Because he is a specialist he can do tests that my PC dr. Cant. Insurance dictates must have specialist for certain things..sigh..and it only took 3 years to find another rheumatologist that took my insurance in my area..and another 6 months just to get an appt.!!!!
So now I wait for one month..and I’ll find out results.
I really think this guy will figure it out.. my PC dr says it’s lupus.tested positive 2 times now…but thinks there’s more then just that…but he can’t be the one to diagnose it…again the specialist thing!
Oh and PC DR put me on a new BP med and antibiotics. Sinus infection..have to get rid of it because of upcoming surgery. And my BP was 190\100..not good.but then when you’re in bad pain it goes way up.
This is my 4th bp med to try..had reactions to first 3.
Hoping this one works!

You know, I have a great deal of respect for Chiropractors. My Grandmother was ‘old school’ trajchtmoake. A Bone setter. She was the BEST. I would be with her on weekends and watch her work her magic, one of the best ones was a lady who was threatening to miscarry. She stopped it, she massaged the mother’s belly and turned the baby. Whatever she did caused the baby to ‘right itself.’ She also told me that women who had child bearing issues would come to her and she helped them to become pregnant.

gramma Good Morning… have already finished a pot of coffee and have caught a few flakes… getting ready to start my day and as always a list of things I need to do…
DixieCup… Our hospital has chosen Omnicell…I work in clinic type setting where we dispense No home going meds….provide sedation.. some pain meds and a few non controlled meds for multiple procedures… Our particular dispenser will be compact.. not stocked with many different meds.. and hopefully will be user friendly…Hospital now in process changing computer systems and going paperless…..Should prove challenging for me because I am sooooo not techy ! Not only that but change is difficult…for me..
Returning to work on Tuesday and not looking forward to so many changes.
RubyCube.. speaking of changes… How was your first week at your new job?
Hopefully commute not too bad… and you will say how much you love your new position..
Chants. A new year and now it is your turn to get some help with your medical issues ! A new physician that listens is very difficult to find.. Happy that you have found one that will diagnose and treat you…
Puma..Sounds like you had a great time visiting your family… Sounds like your webkinz family is really growing… 50 pets is a milestone but only the beginning !

Oh, Chant- I am SO happy you got a good doc! Especially with autoimmune disorders, or hormonal ones, we women often get the short end of the stick from doctors who think we’re making it up, over-exaggerating, or mistaken somehow. It’s so maddening, and so inappropriate. I’m relieved you have someone who is willing to put in the effort to help you solve your health woes, and hopefully put you to rights. I’m a bit of a crunchy mama, but have you tried a chiro or naturopath for some holistic healing?
I was chiropractically adjusted all through my pregnancy with kiddo, even while I was in labor, to make sure he and I were “lined up” to birth easily and safely. I managed to make it drug free, and he was adjusted within minutes of birth. He’s been adjusted regularly since then- it helps align his organs and nerves as he develops at the alarming rate he is (from birth to 2, kids develop more than 7 million nerve connections PER SECOND, mostly in the brain), and it helps his immune system develop. It helps him sleep (which he’s terrible at anyway…), helped with teething (whenever he cut a new tooth, his muscles would bunch up on that side, and pull little neck bones awry), and helped with breastfeeding. And, ear infections. 😉 It can also help with colds, and flus, since they can adjust your facial bones to help sinuses drain and ease breathing, plus the endorphin and immune boost. Chiropractors fix all the things!
I feel like I might have too many pets, or at least, I adopted too many too fast. I feel like the last few are “strangers”, and I haven’t even built rooms for many of them. Since we could move rooms, I tried rearranging the house, and mucked it up royally. Now I have virtually nowhere to put new rooms (all the rooms on the outside can’t have connecting doors that mess up the design)- I had to create a few outdoor yards, and I have another house budding off the side! 🙂
