That’s good that you are reminding us to pick our Santa Gift, Momskinz. I remembered to do all of mine several days ago.
I made my first attempt at a wish list on this blog. I hope that I did it right. I’m collecting lots of things, but I just put on what I had time for.
Dee – my son & wife live in Afghanistan. They will be here on Wednesday and will be here for a week! I have so MUCH to do. Grocery shopping tomorrow, but wishing I had done it sooner. Still need to sort all the gifts that came by mail and figure out if I have it all. We are celebrating Christmas on Saturday, but I’m trying to get it all done before Wednesday morning. I want to be able to visit with son & wife and not just be wrapping presents or cooking.
Our tradition is to have Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls & Hard Boiled Eggs for breakfast on Christmas Day (well, Dec. 29th…LOL). For Christmas Dinner (after presents are opened, but served early afternoon) I usually have ham, sweet potato, green beans, rolls, iced tea, and dessert (varies). After reading Dee’s menu, I’m contemplating the macaroni & cheese. Four out of five of my children have lived overseas at various times and I have found that they always miss “cheese” as they know it in North American culture. So maybe something cheesy is in order.
I have done NO Christmas baking and feel quite bad that I can’t seem to do it all. I will be buying desserts.
Anyway, Merry Christmas to ALL! I’m sure the majority of you celebrate on Christmas Eve or the actual Christmas Day.

Puma, I think those cloud adventure items are things you can buy with the Moneyz on WN. I bought them a little while ago. I wonder when they are going to remove that feature, because I have a lot of cash, and was kind of hoping they’d add some more prizes before I spent it all.

Oh CrazyWebkinzChic … I did the same thing with the neighbors across the street 🙂 I gave Four of my Webkinz to them and one to the next door neighbor’s girl… yeah … best time to catch them is to catch them at Christmas, So much to do and entertain them LOL
I miss the giddy children on both this site and Webkinz Insider. Most of us are just holdouts trying to keep Webkinz aloft until they become the Cool Retro toy
I just finished my Asian accounts and I did not get the Home For the Holidays bed on any of them, so I am thinking that is definitely the Treasured item. The Medallions are in it’s own gift box, so I am guessing you can leave them ‘under wraps’ until you need them. Bonus gift in the Christmas box from Santakinz, a pair of Santakinz Slippers.

Miracle, I feel similarly in crowds! My mom and I had to run a few errands on Saturday as well, and most of the places we stopped at were CRAWLING with people. We were both happy to return to the quiet and comfort of home!

Thanks for the FR’s. I will log on now! I can’t believe that I finally made a wish list, especially during my busiest time. I guess it was a good diversion from the RL responsibilities!
The majority of my day was making my menu, and going to three grocery stores to buy it all. I wonder if eating out would be about the same after I saw the $$$ amounts. Of course, all that I bought covers breakfast, lunch and dinner and doesn’t really equal eating out expenses. But still. I hate for my husband to see the bill.
I talked with some lovely people in the stores today that I didn’t know. One lady’s son was coming home from Afghanistan today. We discussed what it is like having our sons live in a dangerous place. Hers is in the service, mine is a civilian. It was interesting to share our perspectives, influenced somewhat by the experiences of our sons.
Even though I have a thousand things to do, I took time out to watch an episode of Poldark with my youngest dd & husband. While the rest of you are opening gifts tomorrow, I will be wrapping them (for our Christmas on Saturday).
Dee – I bet I know what you are going to name your snowy retriever! I wouldn’t be surprised if you named it something to do with food! Ha ha! Like Meringue, Marshmallow, Cool Whip, Creamer or Coconut!
Gaga – All my kids will be home (Friday & Saturday), but not all of them will be here for the whole time of my oldest son’s visit. I’m so excited. My parents will “surprise” us with a visit on Sunday, I believe. And perhaps my m-i-l. Not sure on that one. Anyway, thanks for asking.
Anyway, going to do all my Christmas stuff and then head to bed! Have a great day, everyone!

EnchantedIsle, I feel your pain, quite literally. Hubby thought he was being romantic making us steamed asparagus for dinner the other night. Let me tell you, here and now, asparagus is NOT date nite food. It is a total mood killer, especially when he giggles like a little boy. And for heaven’s sake, Do Not lift the covers *URK* Plus, it has major ‘hang time.’ … and he blames it on the dog.

Kids slept around the tree last night … and old family tradition, even though they are all getting too old for it. They stay up and read stories and talk. I love seeing them get along so well. I’m a lucky mom.
Thoughts, prayers, and hugs to those going through difficult times this Christmas. I have several friends who have lost loved ones or are struggling, and pray for them regularly. (*hugs*)

Kiddo woke up at 6:30, and we managed to keep him in bed til 7:30 (playing Webkinz on the laptop in the dark LOL) before we went to wake up Grammie and Grampie. He tore into his presents, and is super excited about them all. We had a big pancake, eggs, and bacon breakfast, Skyped with Great Grammie in Maine, and now that he’s burning down, it’s almost naptime.
