Vote For Mayor – Thu-Sun
Voting for the Mayor of Kinzville will take place on Webkinz Newz from Thu, Nov 29th – Sun, Dec 2nd. You can only vote once, and Webkinz will announce the election results on Monday, December 3rd.
As a reminder, here is a summary of each candidate’s campaign promise:
Sophie Stockwell would like to share the magic of eStore with all of the citizens of Kinzville by introducing a monthly ‘Player Appreciation Day’. Once a month, when players log in to Webkinz, they’ll receive a special giftbox that will include a gift from eStore.
Dex Dangerous will bump up our free daily SPREE rolls from 1 a day to 3 a day to help us make it to the SPREE Mall even faster.
PJ Collie wants to take all KinzCash off of the Wheel of Wow and replace it with new and less common clothing.
Dr. Quack will make it his priority to make a sauna that’s available to everyone, and to make all saunas provide care for your pets by adding Happiness, Hunger, Energy and Family Score boosts to saunas.

Calling the silkie chicken Lyn cause the poof on the top reminds me of a friend’s hair and she raises chickens.

Thanks for posting an overview of the the campaign promises. On second thought, Dr. Quack’s promise is not as bad as I initially thought. So I’m re-thinking that one. If I was WW cash poor I’d love PJ’s promise. I’m quite sure that my granddaughter would vote for PJ. We’ve had 3 spree rolls before (as Dex is promising) and I found it hard to daily take advantage of those extra rolls. I remember being upset when spree went down from 3 to 1, yet I adjusted quickly and it really works out okay due to my busy lifestyle. All three candidates (Quack, PJ & Dex) are offering a daily perk, but Sophie is offering a once a month perk, which is a very nice perk indeed (if we would get different items). Those are the things that need to be weighed in my mind. Today it is between Quack & Sophie. LOL!

I wanted to say I actually got the points with 5 crackers. Most was matching older costumes from last year like red nose reindeer feet . Now I have that outfit 1 time but that’s fine . I did get the New White angel costume dress but no hair . I got a NEW black and White Penguin hat I think I got slippers to match . but the hat is new. Has anyone else gotten the crackers and anything new ?

I looked at some of your past postings. I got 5 crackers total . I got Angel dress, Penguin black white hat , Candy Cane earmuffs , The sweater dress Mandy was wearing in the video on pet clothing and a Green and Red bow that matches dress . I am up most nights hard to sleep many worries these days about a sons health. But if any of this helps someone good. Like the knitted bed 😉 .

Met with an academic adviser today and found out that I can 3 more credits from a community college if I want. I had originally transferred 59 over, but you can do a max of 62. So this summer i’m gonna take a class back at the community college, for 1/5 the cost of my normal tuition. Then I’ll just need 32 credits for next year and i’ll be done.
Haven’t been on webkinz much lately, i’ve been busy with other stuff. But last night i was on the app and i noticed that my house map is messed up. I’m guessing this is a glitch from when they added the movable rooms, anyone else with this problem? I have a very large house, but it only shows a small portion of my rooms on the app and they aren’t even in the right place

Choco, several people on other blogs report messed up rooms on the app. They say they check the web version in a panic, and everything is still good there- it just seems to be something glitchy on the app.
I’m torn between Sophie and Quack. Tho, Quack always struck me as kind of creepy, and makes me a little uncomfortable. Sooooo maybe Sophie, though I hate to fall into the trap of “MOAR FREE STUFF”. I like clothes too, and PJ will be close in my choices as well.
Kiddo and I need to stop eating gingerbread. 😉

Happy to send some holiday cheer! I tried to get everyone I could with the items I had.
moms—I tried melatonin to help me sleep and it helped a little, but my body wants to be home in my own bed!
dee—Totally stealing the name Butter Fly for my flutter cow!!! What a great name. I have the hardest time naming. I named my fox kit Foxy Brown. And I agree with you and QofS, I need some help in the academy. I’m stuck on several.
momT—Thanks for the info on the stockings and crackers! Waiting for the crackers to be available on their own soon. Good thoughts and prayers for your sons health to improve.
gaga—Congrats on the ‘R’ upcoming! We were supposed to get hit with the storm, but it just missed us. We got a light dusting, been about 20 degrees for the last week. Family in MI got a ton of wet snow. Yes, this is the first winter for us in WI. Wasn’t sure what to expect, but it seems fairly similar to winter in MI. Dh said we wouldn’t get as much snow because we don’t have to deal with ‘lake effect.’ So far he’s been right. (Don’t tell him I said that.
) You are pretty much forced to be a cheese head here! LOL If you dare run to the store while they are playing, the grocery store has big screen TV’s throughout the store so you don’t miss a play. Nephew is a Packer fan so dh is going to try for some tickets next year.
Dixiecup—LOL!!! “Poor ole creepy Dr. Quack!” I wouldn’t mind a cool new sauna. I’m either voting for him or Sophie. Overall, not impressed with anyone’s campaign.

There really isn’t a whole lot that they can offer, though. I am thinking they could have used the shift room feature as a compelling draw for one of the candidates. But I am thinking it would have pulled them right to the fore-front. With three candidates offering very similar benefits, it is pretty balanced. I think it’s hilarious that Dex is literally building his campaign on the roll of a die. Frankly, he’s a long-shot gamble and I don’t want him to win. He actually makes my skin crawl because I know people like him and I avoid them. Narcissists are freaky people.

Went and voted in WW a moment ago. Hard choices between Sophie and PJ. Dex is a weirdo, and Quack is a creeper (tho saunas for everyone would be nice). 😉 Speaking of saunas, I traded for the Okapi PSI- a sauna- a little while ago. It doesn’t “work”. Your pet is supposed to go inside and see steam come out? I cant figure how to get a pet to go inside! I heard something else about the chinchilla PSI (sandbox that a pet can sit and play in), that the animations while the pet is sitting in it don’t work anymore. I wondered if more PSI animations have been affected.

OMG that was delicious!
I made some changes for my family – 2% mozzarella, lowfat cream cheese, onion powder instead of onions, lowfat cream cheese & skim milk instead of half n half, greek yogurt sub for sour cream, 4 cups of spinach, 1 cup tomatoes, whole grain pasta
3/4 of us have eaten & LOVED it! 1/4 of us is still at rehearsal, so will get it reheated

Puma – I’ve noticed that since i got back into playing, some animated items don’t work anymore. I think the snow machine thing (POTM gift) doesn’t work, the bubble blowing zingoz (an exclusive) doesn’t work. I’m sure there’s others.
Still working on switching my webkinz house around. Need to find places for certain rooms so doors wont be getting in the way. Wish we could just delete the doors.

a lot of items quit working when they changed to Webkinz X, and they have gradually been working through fixes while working on the transition from flash

does anyone use a good but not too fancy vacuum sealer? or have any recommendation for freezing fresh food – i am making pb&j sandwiches, breafast sandwiches, etc. to freeze ahead for quick breakfast & lunch choices for the warthogs, and I’m sure there is a better way than freezer bags, but i can’t decide if it’s worth buying the vacuum sealers or if there’s a better option?
