From December 1 to December 31, you can collect up to 4 Snowy Retriever Puppy Medallions per day — 5, if you’re Deluxe! You’ll need to collect 100 Medallions to adopt this adorable doggie — but don’t worry if you can’t make it on every day – we’ll be giving you 25 Snowy Retriever Puppy Medallions in your Christmas Gift!
Once you collect 100 Snowy Retriever Puppy Medallions, you can trade them in to adopt your very own Snowy Retriever Puppy! You can even keep collecting after you collect 100 until the end of the month to use for any pet medallions.

I like the thought that we could possibly win that puppy, but I think it’s going to be a lot more difficult than they are letting on in the Podkinz. The fact that they are giving us 25 medallions on Christmas Day, indicates to me that we might only get about 3 a day if we stick it out and are on every single day. I have done the math on this and if my ratios are correct you already have a 100/3205 chance of getting a coin that you want. You have a 3% chance of getting the coin you want. By the sound of it, there will be other coins floating at the same time, not just the retriever coins. So really, your odds of getting that pet aren’t as good as you think.

If you want me to make it more implausible for you, we can add to that, that you will only be allowed to collect 10 medallions per day and you are allowed to win up to 5 snowy’s per day as a Deluxe. You Can collect is not you will get. there is no guarantee that you will win any retriever coins. And the people asking if they can turn their extra coins into any pets? I think they’ll be taking from their reserve of coins collected from their other pets to finish off the retriever. Just my two cents. Ganz is not ‘giving away’ this pet. You will be working hard for it.

dixiecup – it sounded like the one coin of the other medallion pets would still float as usual, but the snowy retriever medallions will be the only ones for the floaty clicky

i don’t think they are going to have all the different medallion options included, but i guess we will see … i really don’t think they would do that – it would be very unlikely that anyone would get the pet

Finished the majority of my paper. Somehow ended up with 10 pages. This was only a portion of the paper and some of it was just bulletpoints and whatnot. The finally paper is supposed to be 8-10 pages, so i’ll probably be removing some stuff. Had a mini heart attack towards the end because my word dokument (take that sensor) wanted to crash towards the end. Thankfully I save it after every few sentences, so there wasn’t much lost.
Realized yesterday that I have 2 weeks before finals. Where did the semester go? My last final is on the 12th.

Honestly, with everyone being SO engaged, I do hope it works the way you understand it to work. I guess I hear things differently than others do. But that could be because English is not my first language.
OOO, Choco, that is unbelievable! It seems like yesterday I was just reading that you were beginning, now it is almost at an end! I think, with your paper, it is better to have more than you need, because you can always condense it. It is very difficult to come up with more when you fall short.

Dixie – Definitely better to have more than less. A paper I turned in two weeks ago was supposed to be 7-9 pages, but I had 6 and 3/4. That was the absolute most I could squeeze out of that one. Content wise it was probably closer to 5 and 1/2 pages because we had to use footnotes for the citations and those take up a lot of space. Haven’t gotten it back yet (probably will on monday), so not sure if I lost any points for being a little short. This one I have an abundance of material for, so I that’s not an issue.

Saturday sure got away yesterday.. Up and out by 6 am to go over and “beautify” my mom for the party today… Not a beautician but rolled her hair in rollers after her shower… picked out her “pajamas” for the gathering and planned our menu….Serving spaghetti..

Gaga, what bothers me is there has been nothing mentioned of a candy cane collection event. I really look forward to these (as frustrating as it can be with so many activities at once). It’s an opportunity to get really nice items for a little bit of ‘social networking.’
Bathtub battles? I don’t know why, But I am really good at this game. I always beat the NPC … well, if they don’t get the first shot in. I find they are easier to beat than normal players because they only have access to the single shot cannon. If you do it right you can uncover a ship with the parrot, hit a couple of random spots with the massive cannon and finish off a larger ship with the double shot. It’s always the little one, it eludes me to the last. I cluster most of my larger ships near the middle, vertical from the name across the bottom. The two smaller ones I put right up against the borders top and bottom.
