I got Ella, but it took a few clicks and repositioning my pet. I also can’t see the goblins, but the room is so full of pets, I wonder if they’re obscured?
Kiddo had a BLAST trick or treating last night! He walked through the whole neighborhood, and we hit about 15 houses. He got a HUGE candy haul!!
Woke up this morning and were enjoying relaxing, making breakfast, and giving Kiddo a bath- came back down for lunch and discovered the noise of a possible water leak in the wall of the downstairs bathroom! Good thing I know where all the water source turnoff valves are! The neighbor had to come over and help me turn the main line outside off- I couldn’t turn the valve! Now we have a plumber coming out hopefully soon, 0 water, and a way more exciting day than I had planned. Wheeeeeee.

Afternoon all!
Hope everyone had a fun and safe night. We didn’t get a lot of trick-or-treaters so I was putting handfuls of candy in bags too. Met some more neighbors which was nice.

I had trouble getting the gifts in Goblin Village, but finally managed to get them on all my accounts. No extra goblins for me. I was actually hoping for a purple chair.
After I read this update, I let out a big sigh! Then I saw Moms comment about “They are keeping us busy!” That is the truth!
April – I’m hitting the panic button about Thanksgiving & Christmas! It just dawned on me today that it is creeping up on me. We have to decide if we are going to make the 9 hour + trip to my sister’s house or not for Thanksgiving. And Christmas….not ready!

Also, the poor plumber has been here for almost 3 hours. He’s a rockstar. He’s found *5* tiny leaks in this cold water pipe. He’s replaced a piece of pipe, then replaced another, and is now just replacing the WHOLE thing, because he keeps finding leaks! He says he’s never seen anything like it!

puma – it makes me wonder if you have that old blue pipe that had all of the problems? or sometimes with older plumbing, if they work on one section, it puts a little stress on the other sections and can cause more problems
queen of sheba – i’m terrible at remembering birthdays, but luckily some of the much nicer people help us all remember LOL also tell us!!! it is easy to remember that cwc & my youngest warthog have the same birthday because it is halloween 😉

Moms, I’ve heard about that piping problem. Nope, we don’t have that, we have standard copper piping, but for some reason this pipe was pockmarked and corroded with green (copper) rust with multiple tiny slow seeping leaks. We never could find what was making the loud hissing water noise I heard this morning- none of the holes were large enough for that- but I’m sure glad it WAS noisy this morning! Plumber said that the leaks had probably been seeping slowly for 2-3 years!!

I used to start Christmas shopping in September and do different groups at different times so the cost was spread out over several months before hand. Is weird not needing to do that this year. YD wants a Switch so that basically takes care of shopping for her. We decided to stop going to my family’s party on Christmas because my mom can’t go anymore and it is her birthday so we are just going to spend the morning with her and then go to hubby’s family. That removes an entire group of kids to buy for. My godmother who primarily hosted them passed this last year so there is less reason to go. The kids I used to buy for on hubby’s side haven’t been attending the Christmas party, the parents switched their schedule and spend Christmas out of state. So basically I am down to 7 people including myself and one of them insists on gift cards for everything.

Goblin Village – I don’t know how I missed that it was through Nov. 8th! I thought yesterday was the only day! I’m so happy we have more days!
Christmas shopping – Hard to shop for people that have everything. But it is fun to open presents, so forward…march! Has anyone put up a Christmas tree yet? I have one friend that does it the day after Halloween. Crazy!

they also have a deal on some anker products – we really like their portable chargers to take on the go to charge phones etc.
i basically shop when i see a deal or something i know i want to get someone, so Christmas shopping can happen at any time with me – i used to finish before Thanksgiving, but now i do it whenever

The plumber didn’t give a view LOL. He was actually chill, calm, helpful, knowledgeable, patient and thorough. It’s our first home, and this was our first “homeowner emergency”, and he helped it be smooth, reassuring, under control and resolved quickly.
Does anyone else notice that players in the goblin room seem to just SIT in front of the goblins? I cant click on them, and I hang in the room for several minutes, and players are just parked in front. Seemingly purposefully blocking the way? Maybe I’m taking it too personally, but I just want to click and go.

I have noticed on my computer even after I do manage to click on things in the clubhouse and my pet has walked over nothing happens for awhile. It is like you are waiting your turn like when we visit Santa with a pet.

Yes Momskinz that is all I use. It does pick up back ground noises so sometimes we are listening to people’s tv’s as well as the people talking in the channel. But there is push to talk if someone is having an issue.
Took me longer to type up all of that and do the blog post than it did to set up the discord in the first place.

Thank you to Jem for all of the Road Trip clothes you’ve been sending my way! I missed the road trip the first time around, but have been slowly building my “room” with pieces I find. And I am a softie when it comes to t-shirts and hats. I love having them all!
I’m so glad they are giving us another chance for the goblin merch. I had only gotten one green plushie, and was happy to score another yesterday. I’m having a hard time making a room I like with all of the items … right now they each have their corner, but can’t figure out the creek tiles, because my pets have to be able to reach every square … #selfimposedWWdecoratingRules
We had that same plumber problem, Puma (not dee’s plumber problem, though, thankfully!) Our contractor explained that it is caused by pin holes in the thin copper pipe that they were using in the early 70s. They switched the standard fairly quickly, but if your house has it, it’s about time for it to start leaking. They are basically tiny little holes that form all along the pipe, and they usually just drip very slowly for years. We’ve been slowly remodeling our house and ripping out plumbing as we go. I just have one bathroom left, and that’s above the garage, so if it leaks there, at least it’s not going to damage too much. Just take note of where your pipes are, and don’t store anything valuable under them! I had my photo albums there for years, and moved them right before it started leaking. I would have died if I would have lost them!
Off to organize my rooms before the house wakes up! Love Saturday mornings! 🙂
