In reference to the last posts storing and sorting discussion, I have been trying to do some of that myself. I find myself going back into boxes or drawers of stuff that I used to want to keep. I find some things I don’t even know why I kept, and some other stuff I can’t find any use for, so a lot of it has to go. Of course since I am busy it has been a slow process that is also bogged down by secondary measures to improve spaces that take time themselves to install/create. It becomes especially frustrating to clean when I can’t match function with design when putting things in their places, and I really don’t have enough time to figure it out.
Anyway…. I have about 2.5 thousand words to write and a quiz to do before 11:59 pm Sunday, so ya probably wont hear from me for several days lol. Thank you to everyone who sent me gifts and well wishes on my birthday and this past week. 🙂

Happy Saturday, everyone! We finally have some SUN!!! Whooooop! Now hoping I have energy long enough to make good use of it outside! 🙂
Love the organizing tips! I like the mason jars idea. I saw someone put small travel shampoos, lotions in a large jar in the guest bathroom, and I thought that was a neat idea too. My kids each have a file box with a lid. I have folders and keep a thin stack of paper for each school year (research papers, drawings, stories, journals, awards). I figure if they want it someday, it’s theirs. But otherwise, it is my box of memories. I like the chest idea, too! Now I have to figure out what to do with that giant box of home video tapes under the bed … might be a conversion project for next summer. 🙂
Thank you, Cheese, for the wish list items! I don’t know how you all FIND these things! I also can’t believe how many items I’ve scratched off the list since learning of gymbos and joining in with you all. Thank you so much!!
Thank you, Lurker, for the update Wednesday news! I agree with Ruby, the amount of items right now is a bit overwhelming. Trying to figure out if I’ve done all the things. I feel like I’m forgetting to do something important in WW, but keeping up with leaves on a bunch of accounts is already time consuming.
I need some new recipes (and cooking motivation), dee! But I’m such a lazy cook. Basically, it has to have 4 ingredients or less and take only about 15 minutes. I know, boring … we do a lot of spaghetti. Haha! And cereal …
I LOVE having new seeds for the garden! It’s been so long since we had something new there. And somehow I ended up with a couple of new beautiful peach trees … I think from one of the codes? And the peppers and peas are almost ready to harvest. 🙂
Gotta run! The sun is bright! 🙂 Have a great day, everyone!

this is six ingredients but worth it and once you bake bread stuff….it is thrilling to see your dough poof!
Homemade Pizza Dough from Scratch + Grilled Pizza
Easy-peasy homemade pizza dough recipe.
YIELD: 1 large, two medium pizzas PREP TIME: 10 minutes
INGREDIENTS:
1/2 teaspoon honey
1 cup warm water (about 110 degrees)
1 packet (2-1/4 teaspoon) active dry yeast
1/2 teaspoon olive oil, plus 1 teaspoon for oiling the bowl
3/4 teaspoon kosher salt
2-1/2 cups all-purpose flour, plus more if needed
DIRECTIONS:
In the bowl of your mixer add the 1/2 teaspoon of honey.
Pour in 1 cup of warm water {115-120 degrees} and whisk. Sprinkle in the packet of yeast and let it sit and get all puffy.
Pour in a half teaspoon of olive oil, a half teaspoon of kosher salt and a cup of the flour. Mix adding the rest of the flour gradually.
Keep mixing until the dough pulls easily from the sides of the bowl. Add more flour if necessary {a couple tablespoons at a time}.
Add a splash of olive oil to a large, clean bowl.
Form the dough into a ball and place it into the bowl. Toss the dough ball around and up the sides of the bowl to coat.
Cover with a towel and let the dough rise for an hour or until doubled in size.
Once the dough has risen, punch the dough down until deflated. Lightly flour a work surface and the dough ball and reshape it into a ball.
Using your fingers press the dough out into your desired size to fit your grill or pan. I use a cutting board that so I can transport the pizza dough to the grill and so it will slide of easily.
FOR THE GRILLED PIZZA:
Preheat your grill to high, clean your grill and lightly oil the grates with some paper towel that you’ve doused with a little olive oil. Once hot, open the lid and let the hot air out. Reduce the temp to medium-high and slide the dough onto the grill.
Close the lid and let the dough grill up for 4 minutes or until the underneath of the dough starts turning golden brown.
Turn the grilled dough {grilled side up} onto your cutting board. Reduce the temp once more down to medium. Slide the dough back onto the grill and quickly slather it with pizza sauce. Sprinkle with grated cheese, top with pepperoni and a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese. Close the lid and continue to grill the pizza for 4 to 6 minutes or until the bottom of the pizza is golden and the cheese has melted.

sorry to keep beating the fafsa horse………..but if your kid will be attending college in 2019-20, you need to fill it out. even if you think you will not get any money, most universities use the fafsa for scholarshop and grant offers and work study!
my dd has received over 10k in the past two years………..mighty nice
just because she had hers on file……..
waay back in the day ( a few years ago), when i was in school, i receved a grant because i was studying a certain language………….

Fafsa… my favorite… I never used to fill it out because i didn’t qualify for anything and my parents paid out of pocket (that was for community college where the cost is reasonable) After transferring I started filling it out and I got a scholarship through my school (only $1,000), but I lost it because I wasn’t enrolled full time last semester. This year I was able to get a grant because I’m old enough to be considered an independent student so they only look at my income now. That also makes it a lot less complicated to fill out. Still have to take out loans… not happy.
When did they change it to october first? The first time i filled it out (when i was in high school) it started in january or february.

Still not seeing many leaves. I don’t think i’ve seen any on the app and i’ve only seen a few online. I wasn’t overly thrilled with the prizes this year and I think I got at least one of each, so i’m not too bothered.

i seemed to be the only one seeing leaves regularly – i haven’t compiled my prizes and didn’t get much time yesterday or today, but if anyone is missing an item from fall fest, lmk – i’ll check to see what i have
