Hey everyone!
It’s been a while since my last visit, so I thought I’d drop by and say hello 🙂 I hope you all have a great week! For those of you who have been going through challenges, whether they are with your health, work or other personal matters, I just want you to know that I’m thinking of you and sending extra hugs your way. I hope things get better for you soon ♥
Loop, thanks SO much for the spoilers! The Emerald, Sapphire and Opal Top Hats are really pretty – I’m looking forward to the Blue Ribbon Corn Seeds as well! And Wacky’s Burger Stand is adorable – Love the “Wacky” Meal it dispenses, LOL 😆
Thanks so much for the gift Muffin, it was an awesome surprise!
Congratulations on selling your house, april! 😀 And thanks for sharing your blueberry cornbread recipe! I love blueberries in baked goodies.
I also wanted to give everyone a heads up that when you receive a gift from me, nothing is expected in return. Many of the items I send are extras I’ve gotten through trading, and I love being able to share them with all of you ♥ Hugs!
DEE, thanks so much for the Tawny Cat Shoes code! I don’t have a Facebook account and would’ve missed out on this gift otherwise, so I really appreciate you sharing it here 🙂
And thanks for the new post Patsie, the hyperlinks definitely come in handy!

Patsie .. thanks for all of the helpful info.. I was wondering what the prize was for the 2018 peach pie… seems like that is an old prize given out for some other contest….
dee. thanks for the name suggestion of Puprika !! Haven’t logged it in yet but it is a really cute name !! MA’s are medical assistants… two year degree…much cheaper than nurses…she will be replacing me in the procedure room which I have been doing for past 10 years… with the doctor who is the director of the department.. MA’s are not permitted to access medication…. so not sure yet how all this is going to work…..the two nurses who are leaving the department will work their last day on Friday… One of the nurses was offered prn but with 6 dollar an hour pay cut….no benefits…
We are all very disheartened…and trying to support each other…Some of our patients have been told about the changes … and because they have been coming for years… the too are saddened by the changes… some of them are almost like family…
Cheese… nice to “see” you .. hope all is well with you !
Looking forward to seeing what is being release tomorrow for Christmas in July !
Have a nice evening all !

Thank you momskinz and thank you to the person who sent the sparklers to you.
It is Michigan State University not University of Michigan those are two different schools. And we have three half gallons of that ice cream in our freezer. I took a cooler with dry ice in it with me when I picked up OD one trip and brought some back. The chocolate cheese is interesting tried it back when I was a student. They have a lot more flavors of ice cream now then when I went there. Dairy is a big thing at the school. Have their own cows. One of my classes included making ice cream and cheese. Small batch industrial.

Wow! What a nice post! There is so much to keep up with!
Gaga – I can see why many of you are disheartened at work. $6 an hour pay cut seems like a slap in the face. What will happen to you after you train the MA? Will you have to take a pay cut, too? Or will they reassign you somewhere else?
My son and his wife are NP’s. They work way too many hours in one day x five or six days. They work all day in the office and come home to chart their work. Crazy!
Pet4Mom – I’ll be gone for a week so may not be able to help with Marshmallow challenges and vice versa. (I think the accounts I send requests to you are: Lit, Moo, Tob, Lif, Cut, Bec & Pig) I’m naming the first three letters on each account.

dee.. Where are you at on the countdown to dd’s arrival ? Hope it is soon !!
Weather finally cooled off a bit here.. Sure do need some rain though…
moms… do you watch the Espy’s?? Being televised tonight…
Hope you all have a good day… Those who are struggling with RL issues… hope today is a better day !!

Good morning all!
Thanks everyone for the well wishes on the new house and thankfully selling the one we have quickly!
gaga—It is very bittersweet to leave this home I love. As much as I hate change, it comes anyway in life, and I am starting to look forward to the new house and making a new life there. You are in my thoughts and prayers for what you are going through at work. It is so disheartening. They are replacing you in the procedure room with a MA?! Congrats on the Pumi pup! Puprika is an awesome name dee!
moms—So happy I get to ‘take’ all of with me in the move!!! Thanks for reposting the cornbread recipe for dee.
dee—Glad you are feeling better, hope you like the cornbread!
With all this heat and no rain, I’m looking forward to moving north. Of course I’ll be eating those words in the middle of winter! 😆 I’ve been doing my ‘rain dance’ everyday. Which consists of me dragging a hose all over the yard, fighting with the sprinkler, spraying myself in the face and swearing under my breath.
We just got the inspection report back on our house we are selling. Wasn’t bad at all, so one more thing done. I did have a mini meltdown after we got home from the inspection. The thought of strangers roaming around my house touching everything creeped me out, so I went through the whole house Lysoling door handles and light switches. (Yes, I know I have issues…dh told me I was crazy…don’t care ) Went downstairs and saw our radon mitigation system was down. I was down there right before the inspection and it was working fine. It has never gone down in the 3+ years we have lived here. It took a day to figure out what happened. The inspector tripped the GFCI outlet the system was connected to and didn’t reset the outlet. The inspection report we just got indicated our radon system wasn’t working….really?! I want to throat punch this guy. The realtor knows all about it and I know it’s not the buyers fault, but they are going to get an ear full.
QofS—Have a great vacay! No blueberry pie either.
Thanks Patsie for the great post to keep us up to date with all the stuff going on.
Hi Cheese—They are airing TGBBS season 3 on PBS and I thought of you! I haven’t seen that season so I’ve been really into it.
Ruby/66Muffin—Graeters!!! So so good! But I do have to give a shout out to my home state MI ice cream Hudsonville. I’ve never tried the MSU ice cream. But I know the dairy program there is top notch. Hope there is good ice cream in WI!
Christmas in July is in the eStore. Elf hat cottage is really cute.
Hugs to all I missed and hope you have a great day!

I don’t envy you on selling the house, April! So much pressure to keep everything in order!
Has anyone “caught” the fish giving the rare Campkinz Tent Bed yet? Just the other stuff for me, so far! Glad I can catch fish on mobile! I will be in the car approximately eleven hours tomorrow!

Hi everyone! I hope you’re staying cool in this yucky heat. I haven’t pulled out my hoses yet, but I’m watching the forecast closely. We’re supposed to get a lot of rain all weekend, which I’m hoping for. If my grass is looking more like straw than grass this time next week, I’m pulling out the soaker hoses!
April – I’m so glad you got a good inspection report on your house! I hope you come to love your new house as much as the one you’re leaving.
Gaga – It’s so frustrating having to train your replacement or people who are replacing your colleagues. Hang in there. If you find yourself getting down or frustrated with the new MA’s, just try to keep focused on the bigger picture. I hope you can ride through this difficult transition. You’re in my thoughts!
Patsie – Thank you for the post and reminders! Very helpful!
Queen of Sheba – I hope you have a wonderful vacation!
My daughter is doing very well with her recovery. She had physical therapy yesterday. Just one week out of surgery and she is completely offer her crutches. She has to wear her compression boot when she walks, and keep it elevated and iced when she isn’t walking. She was able to make lunch for herself yesterday, which was really exciting for her. She has a follow up appointment with her surgeon tomorrow and another physical therapy appointment on Friday. If everything is looking good from a surgical point tomorrow, the plan is for her to start walking without the boot in therapy on Friday.
She and I have had a lot of fun together this summer. We’ve been binge watching Survivor. We started at the beginning of the series, which aired before she was born. I briefly got into the series many years ago, but lost interest after a couple seasons. I think it’s a show better enjoyed with someone else. She got me back into it a few weeks ago, and I figured it would be something fun to get into while she was laid up with her leg. It’s so fun watching it with her. She really gets into it.
So I haven’t had much time for Webkinz lately. Between watching people hike up mountains, eat nothing but a few spoonfuls of rice and some termites, shiver for hours in the pouring rain at night, and compete in brutal challenges during the scorching mid day heat, I’m exhausted! Like, I just watched some malnourished dude carry 300 pounds of firewood up a mountain to a camp where nobody even knows how to make fire. I need a nap!
So yeah… when you’re too tired and lazy to play Webkinz, you know you’re having a good summer. 😀

Any other Lucas the Spider fans here? If you don’t know who Lucas is, here’s a link to his YouTube videos: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GKWKGRPQNOU
Hands down (all 8 of them), the cutest animated creature I’ve ever seen. I’ve been asking Webkinz to make a spider for many years, and I either get silence… or… spiders are too creepy. It would never sell.
If a Webkinz spider wouldn’t sell, it’s not because it’s too creepy. It’s because of the lousy sales pitch. The creator of Lucas has made over a million dollars in less than a year from selling merch based on just 4 and a half minutes of home made youtube videos. In an interview with Joshua Slice, the creator of Lucas, he explained that his reason for designing Lucas was to prove that spiders can be adorable and lovable. Well done, Joshua!
Webkinz… RIP

rubycubes – They could make a Halloween spider – that would be SO CUTE!!! That sounds like excuses because they can’t figure out the animation 😛
hey everyone!!!
april – so glad it was just a simple outlet reset – inspectors can be so illogical sometimes
dee – i have had cornbread with some actual kernels in it, too, that was good – like the corn muffins – jiffy mix type with some corn added mmmmmm
gaga – i am so sad for you reading your job updates – it makes me furious and so disappointed – i believe in being fiscally responsible, but this does not sound to be in anyone’s best interest other than the corporation – not good for nurses, patients, or doctors

Moms – Yes! We seriously need a spider for Halloween! And I don’t understand why the animation is so hard. It would be one thing if they didn’t already have a similar template, but the crab….
http://www.thelamberts.com/webkinz_blog/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/Screenshot-2018-07-18-at-6.28.38-PM.png
They’ve given us templates and had players design new pets based on existing pets. I could easily turn this crab into an adorable Spooky Spider!
