fresh basil
was doing up a chicken dish i had seen alton brown do
mix olive oil, minced garlic, fresh basil, kosher salt and pepper. stuff it under the skins and grill…………it is mighty fine……….

I was lucky enough to received signed posters from Sally and Steve in the mail on my main account, even though I added them all to my friends lists on several accounts. If I receive the Mandy poster, then I will only need a signed Michael poster to complete my signed poster collection. Michael is showing up like he is my friend on my main account but I haven’t received a poster from him if he really added me.

I wish it had been easier to meet the Webkinz Newz Team Members. Does anyone else agree? I thought I saw on Webkinz Newz there might be a chance to receive the posters in the future, though.

Good Morning All !!
moms… so nice to be missed ! I guess you could call it an unexcused absence!
Yesterday was beautiful here.. Warm and sunny.. temp 70 ish.. Finally some warm weather !! Accomplished most things on my To Do list for the day…and back to work today.. Cable service went out right before the 6 o’clock news and still not back on today !! Didn’t realize how dependent I am on TV !
Finished to Dex’s Trophy Challenges.. and will leave it at that !
Following NBA games closely…CAVS play again tomorrow at home… not giving up on them..although my nephew and I have had some pretty lively discussions on the playoffs !
Anyone interested… the Mothers Day gift bags supposed to be released tomorrow at the e store… no news on what is in them !

Happy Tuesday! We are finally having !!GORGEOUS!! weather (at least yesterday)! And I had the day off … FINALLY!! Whew! RL has been so hectic lately!
I barely kept up with the newz week, but I think I managed to get at least one poster of each. I didn’t get to participate in the signed poster part because the times were when I was at work, but I think I’m good anyway. I finished Smoothie Moves just in time, so checked that off.
And … CHEEEEEEEZE! Thanks for the wish list items!! I saw them a few days ago, but just now getting on to thank you!! Love that cake!!
Ruby, your story about your dd’s room is so sad! But you are such a good writer, that it was a great story. And, Chant, your story is great as well! I love hearing how a community comes together to help each other! That’s how it was meant to be.

I’m in the same boat as Cheese! I have received all the signed posters but the one from Steve. Still waiting to hear from him! 😉
We had two large trees taken down in our front yard yesterday. One was leaning towards our neighbor’s house and one towards our house. It was rather sad because they provided a lot of shade during the summer and our front yard seems so bare now even though we still have a bunch of trees.
The one benefit to the project is that it brought out the neighbors. My dh offered free wood to any who wanted it. We don’t heat with wood as many of our neighbors do.
I was gone almost all day yesterday, so I’m just starting to work on Dex’s challenge. I don’t mind the game too much. Not sure if I will do more than two accounts, though. (Mine and my oldest dd’s). I might do my step grand-daughter’s account. We will see.

Hi everyone! I don’t have any pics to post yet, but we’re getting close!
I’m hoping to be done, or nearly done, by the end of this weekend. My daughter feels so out of place, trying to find her clothes, which are in piles in the living room. She has taken over my bed, and I’ve been sleeping on the couch, so I’m as anxious to get her room done as she is. I want my room back!
But it is coming together SO well. And I think she will be absolutely thrilled with it when it is done.
I took a little break from working on it tonight to play some WW. It’s the first time I’ve been in the trade room in a couple weeks. All the mystery clothes have come out, and everyone was so nice! Several friends were giving me mystery clothes and wishing me happy birthday. I went into the trade room with one new mystery clothing item (the glasses) and came out tonight with everything except 2 items! And I even scored a couple extras. I love this game so much! 🙂
But tomorrow it’s back to work, and probably through the weekend I won’t have much time for Webkinz. I managed to get a trophy though. Probably the only one I will bother to try for.
