Webkinz Newz Week
Webkinz Newz week is happening for the first time this week. It runs from Monday, April 16th to Sunday, April 22nd.
There are three main components to Webkinz Newz Week. There is a Webkinz Newz Week Challenge, a Webkinz Newz Week Clubhouse Room, and a chance to meet the Webkinz Newz Team Members in various Clubhouse rooms from Monday, April 16th to Friday, April 20th.
The first component of Webkinz Newz Week is the Webkinz Newz Week Challenge. Be sure to click on the challenge icon in your room for the activities to count.
There are 3 tasks that you will need to complete by midnight on April 22nd (Eastern time or Kinz time) to win the prizes for the Webkinz Newz Week Challenge:
- Sign up your pet for any 10 classes at the Kinzville Academy
- Earn 250 KinzCash playing Smoothie Moves in the Games Arcade
- Find 3 cans of Fizzy Newz Soda at WebkinzNewz.com and feed them to your pet
There are three prizes for completing the Webkinz Newz Week Challenge. The prizes are the Newz Blogger Mug, Newz Team Poster, and Portable Newz Camera.
The second component of Webkinz Newz Week is you can visit the the Webkinz Newz Clubhouse Room and receive two prizes each day.
You can click on Ella McWoof in the room for a special prize. You can also watch a special Podkinz for a currently exclusive coin by clicking on the Podkinz recording booth.
The Webkinz Newz Clubhouse Room has two things you can click on for prizes. You can click on Ella for one prize per account each day. You can also watch an exclusive Podkinz by clicking the Podkinz recording booth to receive one exclusive coin per account each day. You will need to disable any ad blockers you might have in order to watch the Podkinz, though.
Ella has six different prizes that you can receive from clicking on her, but you can only receive one prize per day per account. The prizes are: Webkinz Newz Desk Chair, Mandy Webkinz Poster, Steve Webkinz Poster, Trendy Newz Blogger Laptop, Sally Webkinz Poster, and Michael Webkinz Poster. These posters are not signed, be careful not to mix them up with the signed posters from the Webkinz Newz staff members.
The exclusive Podkinz has a community code for a Webkinz Newz Makeup Table (you can only enter the code once per account and the code expires on May 31st, 2018): W24N – 5PBZ – GGRZ – SD5W. The Webkinz Newz Makeup Table is currently able to be traded and sent.
The third component is you can meet the Webkinz Newz staff or team members several of the days in the Webkinz Clubhouse, if you are lucky.
The Webkinz Newz team members (Mandy, Michael, Sally, and Steve) will be visiting the Webkinz Clubhouse from Monday, April 16th to Friday, April 20th at different times and will usually be in different rooms. If you invite the staff members to trade in a Trading Room, you can receive a signed poster in return for your items.
The team members might appear in the Clubhouse outside of their scheduled times as well, so be on the lookout for them.
The Webkinz Newz team members will be wearing their Newz Reporter outfits or Ganz Studio Toques, so people can recognize them.
By trading with the Webkinz Newz team members, you will receive a signed poster of them. You can also add them to your friends list on Webkinz and they might send you a poster of them. Be careful not to mix these signed posters up with the posters that are possible prizes from clicking on Ella McWoof.
Mandy will be in the Clubhouse at these times (all times are Eastern) on the following days:

Tuesday, April 17th: 3:00-3:30 PM in the Webkinz Newz Room

LeeAnn – dee, tmt, and I all got posters. gaga was trying but had no luck. None of us has figured out how to add the host yet. We all got our posters in either the regular chat trading room or the KC+ trading room.

i had a meeting that ran way longer than i planned & ended up having my whole “school day” sucked up

Only if you are in the room with them but they appear to only be able to have one pending friends request at a time and new people come in the room as others leave so from pets I saw some of us were in there for 15 minutes or more without getting a request through. Trading seems the easier route.

My guess is they accept the friend request send a poster then clear before next time so they have room for new ones. Just a guess though.

I was able to get a few posters by clicking on Ella in News Room… unsigned but that ‘s OK… Times are not good with work schedule either but will search for a short while when I can to see if the hosts are there randomly !

Hey, guys! Sorry about being MIA for so long, but life has been a little busy with the end of the semester coming up.
I know it’s probably a long shot but I was wondering if anyone still has any duplicate Valentine’s chocolates. I almost completed the whole collection, but I’m only missing 3 and they’re all from the 2013 collection: Cherry Cream, Turkish Delight, and Sweet Chili.
How’s everyone’s luck turning out with the new prize system? I finished the common prizes the other day and I’m missing 3 pieces from the uncommon lot. I have 2 of the sunflower things from the rare items, too. I like the new prizes. Gives me something else to look for and spend more time on Webkinz.
Has anyone noticed that filling up 10 pet hearts don’t award extra KC anymore? I think that’s rather annoying because that’s why I keep filling them up and I only noticed it today. Do you think it’s a glitch that they’ll fix?

You have to click on her name in the list of people in the room and ask to add friend. But that doesn’t work all that well since she can only have one pending friend request at a time. Better to look in trading rooms.

i think it has been a whole two days since i talked about food……it is killing me!
dh wants to try some recipe he saw in a magazine which sounds weirdorific!
tortellinis, smoked sausage, peas, cheese, dijon mustard, heavy cream and some other stuff………for some reason, i have all of this except heavy cream. so we are gonna make it tomorrow…………just sounds wrong to me on so many levels, but he has come up with stuff before that actually turns out…i will let you all know
