   and i miss when they drove around in summer with their van……..back when lumos still played and we found kinzclothes (for humans) at some backwater place…………sigh………

   this was a definite must for the dog – she is going to wiggle so hard when she sees it 😀 cracks me up how she BEGS for certain Webkinz – she was jonesing for that butterscotch bunny the minute she saw it – she loves it and brings it to us all the time

   i was talking about the van to the warthogs the other day – reminding them when we got to go to the “test preview” of the van & the first stop when they got to “assist” the webkinz team & were awarded with a box of webkinz goodies 🙂 i miss those days too!

   Strange question for you all … is anyone else using a mac, and if so, are you having trouble pulling up WebkinzNewz? Every time I load the page, I can see it for about 3 seconds before I am redirected to MacKeeper and told to clean my mac. I would think my computer is infected with this little virus (because it has happened before), but it only comes up when I try to visit WebkinzNewz site … every other site seems fine. I’ll have to do a little more digging, but thought I’d ask …

   Miracle.. don’t use mac but hope your mac doesn’t have a serious virus !
   Noticed lately on my computer that frequent “please wait” pops up when using
   the arcade…frustrating…..
   Notice in e store calendar that today is the day they are releasing the cow
   hot air balloon ! not there yet though…
   Queen of Sheba thanks for the info on maintenance day…can never seem to keep that straight !
   moms… 30’s sure is cold for all you who live South… Yesterday.. 3 inches of now had melted by noon and was really sunny ! remains cold and “snail” expected for today ( rain -snow mix)… Home opener today.. We’ll wait and see if they play !…. WOW.. what a game last night !! CAVS pulled out a win in the final few minutes…
   I too remember the travelling Webkinz van ! Took my nephew when they made their stop here… wanted to get one of those webkinz wraps for my car
   and still do !!

   gaga – i noticed all of the April sale items also seem to be less in WW than on the estore site! good eye, lady!!! can’t wait to get my ostrich! what are you naming yours? i haven’t decided for sure yet – i want it to be a girl, but Ollie is my only name idea which seems so very basic … i’m going to have to see it first i guess

    Miracle – oh my, my mac was doing the same thing just the other day!! Trying to do peek a newz but kept getting directed! Hopefully can figure out a way to fix this. Anyone have any ideas?

    moms. you may be to young to remember Phyllis Diller… but when I opened the plushie of the ostrich… it sure did remind me of her !! Still thinking of a name but Phyllis Diller is in the running ! Is that legal ??

    In my case, IMHO means “I must have one”! Just placed my order now! Totally impulsive! I have bags of pets waiting to be adopted, yet I have to have THAT one!

    Yep! Phyllis Diller is a humorous one! LOL! You could always shorten the name to Phyl, gagagee! Or maybe Dilly! Ha ha! Phyllie Dillie….Ha ha! I better stop!

    Olivia is a pretty name for the ostrich, Gramma! Not sure what I’m going to name mine yet. I usually don’t order a pet unless I have chosen a name. But…I wanted to take advantage of the free shipping!

    Miracle – I am having trouble envisioning going up & down steps using a bucket. Reading your stories makes me realize that I take staircases for granted!

    Oh my goodness! So many good sales in the WW shop! But my friend just called me, so I will have to shop later!

    Moms, I emailed you about a new post yesterday. However, I went ahead and made a draft of the post and scheduled the post to open on April 8th. We can always reschedule my post for later in the month, since it isn’t time sensitive. I noticed we have been short on posts in the drafts since Zingyginger hasn’t been around to help.     There is a Spring Fairy Buddies Community Challenge. The wording below came from Webkinz Newz. I would include a link to the Podkinz, but I don’t want my comment to possibly end up in the trash or spam. Moms, feel free to add the link.

    Oh no! Nafaria is up to her wicked ways again! A bunch of Spring Fairy Buddies were on their way to the Webkinz Day celebrations, but they got lost in the Magical Forest. They took a wrong turn in the dark forest and ended up in the clutches of Nafaria, the queen of the bad fairies.

    Nafaria wants to ruin Webkinz Day. She discovered that eStore was planning a new Webkinz Day Loot Bag, filled with prizes. So one night, Nafaria snuck into the eStore warehouse and she trapped the new Spring Fairy Buddies inside some of the Webkinz Day Loot Bags!

    The next day Sophie Stockwell arrived at work to hear the Spring Fairy Buddies calling for help from inside the Loot Bags, but she couldn’t tell which Loot Bags held the trapped Fairy Buddies. Sophie wants to hand out a Loot Bag to everyone in Webkinz World to make sure that we free all the Spring Fairy Buddies. But we need to spread the word to make sure that we open as many Loot Bags as possible.

    Happy Saturday! Looks like they changed our snow forecast back to just cloudy, so I’m happy for that! Yesterday was gorgeous! Sunny and nearly 70, so it really would have been hard to go back to snow after that. Much cooler today, though, but it looks like it is working it’s way back up.

    I don’t know if I figured out the MacKeeper virus thing … it was only happening on the WebkinzNewz site, which isn’t how that popup usually operates. I searched in all of the usual places and didn’t see any MacKeeper redirects; however, I found an odd little java script that seemed newly planted in the computer library, so I deleted it, and everything seems to be working fine now. Time will tell. We’ve downloaded that one by accident before, so our whole family knows how to get rid of it. Thankfully, it’s not a malicious virus … just very annoying.

    And the stair guy showed up 2 days out of 5 last week, so I guess he’s taking other jobs because mine is taking too long. Really, he is so close to finishing, I don’t know why he just won’t FINISH IT!! I think we’re looking at 2 more days, or even up to a week if he runs into issues, but really! It’s been off and on for 2 months!! And he’s so close! I know I’m going to love it when it’s done, but still ….

    The stair bucket was only there for a couple of hours. The stairs have a landing in the middle, so the lower 5 or 6 stairs were completely gone, and the boys used the overturned bucket to climb up to the landing to get upstairs. We really do take them for granted. They are the main hub of the household.

    I think it’s a day for reading and hot tea today … overcast, chilly, quiet house. And I was out too late with friends last night, and had trouble winding down, so I’m a little groggy this morning (no, it is NOT a hangover! haha!) Just need more coffee, I think …

    patsie – yes, saw the email, then saw the post scheduled & was planning to go with it – i usually make the posts if zingy has not, but sometimes i do not schedule them in advance so i can post more recent info if i want unless i’m worried about being pressed for time. if something comes up that i think is more time critical or whatever, i’ll adjust your post 🙂

    i had a few interesting things happen last week – i got to meet zebras, feed them from my hand, and rub them – it was one of the coolest experiences of my life! i’m one of those people that can’t stand getting my hands dirty – i only want ribs i can eat with a fork and am not a big fan of eating anything with my hands that gets on my hands … i eat pizza and things like that with a fork, so letting zebras slurp on my hands, playing with their lips, basically getting my hands filthy and feeling giddy the whole time – that was good for the soul! i also met “zedonks” which we called Zonkey – a zebra & a donkey had 2 babies! they had striped legs, ears, and mane – so very cute! we fed them and petted them, too. what a great day for me! i never in my life thought i would get to meet a zebra like that! i’ll edit out a warthog and post a pic and also post it on FB & ask them to make us a Webkinz! ♥
