miracle – i’m so glad to know babywise worked for you because i failed miserably at it – my boys were not good sleepers as babies
it’s funny because everyone i knew that had baby girls could get them on a schedule, and they slept through the night early, and everyone i knew with baby boys had the opposite … but now that i have teens – most of my friends with girls are having a more difficult time
it’s interesting how much of a pattern we have seen – we all joke about it, and i say that i’m glad i lost the sleep when i was younger lol

Happy Tuesday! Agreed, gaga, happy to see spring on the horizon! I have family coming in this weekend (to the almost finished remodeled house), so hoping for some nice weather as my dad loves to work in my yard.
The staircase is supposed to be worked on today … here’s hoping! Last week, no one showed up, so I’m never really sure if something better came along, or there was an emergency or what. But he usually eventually gets it finished. I just have to be very patient …
Yes, Momz, that Babywise book is a little polarizing … people either love it or hate it. Most people who actually give it a good try love it, so you’re one of the few that I’ve heard who couldn’t get it to work. Most people who don’t like it usually don’t like the idea of a schedule for babies as a rule. But for me, it literally saved my sanity, so I like passing it on as an option. π Babies are so resilient, though, they seem to grow up despite our best efforts! And I love hearing how other people handled it. There are many ways that work, and they are all so different, so keep searching until you find the one that works for you both!

And off to catch some more eggs. I have a room full of flowers and hidden eggs now, so that’s fun and pretty. Wish we could turn the eggs to look like the actual picture in our docks.

Miracle the free egg just gives a prize not an egg and the eggstra eggs from the wheel show up when you are feeding them. Or that is how it has worked for me so far.
Gagagee so glad you are finally seeing some spring. We are having rain and cool temperatures but the daffodils are almost finished and so are the plum trees. The tulips are just starting as well as the apple and cherry trees. We are Canada’s anomaly not norm.
Shelly I agree with you about the cottages and also about getting multiples of something not as fabulous.

gaga – it’s funny you say that because our trees have bloomed already – cherry trees in bloom now, “tulip tree” is almost finished with blooms, & the pear trees finished a couple of weeks ago – we actually had an iris bloom this week which is very early for ours

I liked the What to expect books never heard of Babywise. Until the baby can hold their head up on their own and they need tummy time to work on muscles for sitting and crawling being held most of the time when awake isn’t hurting anything. Can’t spoil a baby that young most important thing is them feeling safe, that will help them be little explorers when they are old enough.
So I typed this up last night and apparently didn’t hit send. Still haven’t managed to do any eggs other than one account.

Should get some points but not sure what item to pick probably bed most likely to use in room. Not much going on with plants here, green sprouts are it. But saw a robin last week. Thank you to momskinz and gaga for the info. I did wonder how the one account ended up with a water can when I hadn’t fed any eggs yet.

but i got busted out by the pede
dd was not walking at 12months and pede told me to quit carrying her!
told me to buy ( can not remember brand) some kind of spinny saucer walker kind of thing………one month later she was walking……….but how could i let my baby cry and not pick up and carry? ha ha ha ha ha
but she is our one and only and i quit my career to be a full time mommy…and we had no local family support being a military family….it is pretty amazing that she turned out as well as she has! ha ha ha ha ha

I was called to jury duty once and really found it so interesting.. Sat in on medical malpractice case… could not believe they did not excuse me .. being a nurse.. but lasted a week… Dr. found not guilty … Could not believe what people sue over !!
Check into E store this morning.. If you click on March calendar … April schedule appears…. The cute owlet being release the 13th !
New April pet is an ostrich… Looks darling !! Lots of cute things coming up!

hey gaga – I was on a jury one time – very interesting case as well – a lawsuit involving a railroad from a former employee – they liked me because i had worked on railroad bridges and knew how everything worked – railroad was not guilty … i have been called several other times, but i was never even taken into a courtroom any of the other times. the county where i live now calls often – everyone is called i think it’s every 18 months or 2 years, it’s a lot, and the courthouse is a PAIN to go to – lots of traffic, very little parking, difficult to get there, so I REALLY didn’t want to go today, especially right before Spring Break. I do think once the warthogs go off to college *sniff*, I would like to do it again – I really enjoy learning about the legal system.
