I’ve set a time for 3:40 – 3 minutes & 40 seconds, and it seems like the eggs are consistently on a 4 minute cycle

Thanks for the timing info moms! It seemed like my eggs were floating by at longer intervals but maybe it was cause I was doing my dailies at the same time. Haven’t gotten any daffodils yet but the hidden egg has pink and white daffodils in it! I got a butterfly wall art from the pod kinz free egg code and I got a dragonfly wall art today and they both look great with the lily pad theme. Just need some of those butterfly chairs from the lily pad theme to almost complete my room. What is everyone’s favorite chocolate egg prize this year?

Can someone find my long personal post, please.
This is my post about the eggs.
I have received from the white egg code:
3 Butterfly wall art
3 rotating butterflies
3 corner water tiles
1 straight water tile
3 blue roses
2 pink roses
1 white rose
1 spring chick
Stella, my favorite prize this year is the cottage from the white eggs. From the chocolate eggs it is the hidden eggs.
Wishing everyone a happy weekend of collecting floating eggs.
May your thoughts be peaceful, your heart be full of love and your being an expression of the joy of creating.

I have chocolate egg prizes coming out my ears! I surrounded the edge of an entire room in daffodils, which is cool, because that’s the room my Daffodil Bed is in! If anybody needs the gardener’s boots, gardener’s tool belt, or iron wood watering can, please speak up. I have more of them than I know what to do with. I should have spares of the other new prizes in the coming days, and I’ll give ’em up to the blog then.

Stopping in to say hello. I hope everyone is well! So much going on in WW right now! I have missed a few things. But, looking forward to the awesome Spring items!
ME is doing well. She was a month old yesterday already. We had her pictures taken professionally on Thursday and then she saw the Easter Bunny yesterday. She has quite the little personality! She is beautiful.
Motherhood can be challenging. I have a whole new appreciation for all moms! I have a really hard time when she cries. I feed her, change her…and, if she is still crying…I feel lost. I don’t want her to hurt or be sad. She constantly wants to be held…which I love. But, I figure I am creating a monster. Any advice? We got the new Mamaroo swing. But, she doesn’t seem to care too much about it. Ah well…just taking it all in. It is already moving so fast!

Yay, ME update! Amber, hold her as much as you want. You can’t “spoil” a child by holding them too much. If anything, that strengthens the bond. My youngest would never go to sleep as a baby unless she had a pacifier in her mouth, was being simultaneously rocked and bounced in my arms, and I had to pat her on the back at the same time. She turned out to be less spoiled than the other two. If your arms need a break, look for a bouncer chair. The bouncer chair was my savior when I had to do something that involved the use of both arms.
About the crying…that is the only way your baby has to communicate, so you will hear it all the time. You’re in the newborn stage right now, so the crying is a nice, low volume. Wait until those lungs get a bit more developed and you’ll be amazed at the volume that can be produced from such a tiny scrap of humanity! There are several basic cries, and you’ll have to figure out which cry means what. It’s different for each child. With my kids, a loud steady droning cry meant “Feed me!” for the most part. A high-pitched yelping kind of cry was the pain cry, which can be anything from “I have gas!” to “Holy diaper rash, Batman!”. The whooping cry that I came to call the “ambulance cry” was the startle cry, which was usually produced at the introduction of unfamiliar stimuli, such as really loud annoying grandpas putting their faces two inches from the baby’s face and babbling loudly. Your best bet if you are not bottle feeding is to assume that the baby is always hungry, because mother’s milk is digested and metabolized a lot more quickly than commercial formula, and the baby might get hungry every hour on the hour. (Usually between the hours of 11 pm and 6 am, which is when frazzled mom is trying like heck to get some kind of rest!)
Your baby is at the stage where absolutely everybody wants to hold her. Do yourself a favor and always carry hand sanitizer in your diaper bag. NOBODY holds the baby, or even touches the baby, unless they use it, and absolutely NOBODY who has a cold or any kind of illness should get within ten feet of your baby. Using a nasal aspirator to clear the nose of a baby will produce the pain cry in combination with the startle cry, and it makes you feel like the world’s biggest monster, even though you are helping the baby to breath better. My first kid got a cold at the age of three months, and when it came time to use the nasal aspirator, I was crying along with the kid!
And what have you missed? I’ve been collecting extras of everything specifically for you, so let me know what you need and it will go out in the mail right away.

Hi everyone!
It has been a super busy weekend. We had an absolutely wonderful birthday party for my daughter Friday evening! She was so happy! Today is her official birthday, 16 years old. We’re having a small family celebration today, just the three of us. We let her choose a movie to see and a restaurant for dinner. We’re going to see Black Panther this afternoon and then having dinner at her favorite Japanese restaurant. Her favorite food in the world is Sushi.
Catmom – I’m not familiar with the context, but it sounds like your husband has had some health problems and you’ve had some struggles with your house. I hope things are looking up. Warm thoughts your way.
Moms & Boper – Thank you for the bat signal!
Patsie – It’s good to see you posting even when you’re super busy. Don’t work TOO hard. Remember to get some rest in there. 🙂
Amber – So glad to see your update! I’m with TLL. You can’t spoil an infant at that age.by being too attentive. An infant’s cry is their only means of communication. When you respond, it lets them know that their needs will be met. Infants who consistently have their needs met tend to experience less anxiety and develop more trusting bonds with their caregivers.
It’s not uncommon for infants to want to be held all that time. Consider this: ME was nestled in a very warm environment right under your heart as she grew for 9 months. Up until a month ago, the entirety of her experience was feeling you surrounding her, hearing your heartbeat, hearing your voice. Birth is a pretty traumatic event for a newborn. They are suddenly ripped from a perfectly dark world into the bright light of a birthing room. They are wet and the room is COLD. There are strange voices all around. They are being touched and pulled and prodded in ways they’ve never experienced.
Infants have pretty basic needs – foods, warmth, protection, to stay dry, not to be in pain, not to be frightened (such as by loud noises). You have always been ME’s source of security, literally, your body has been her home. When you hold her against your chest and she feels your warmth and hears your calming heartbeat and soothing voice, she feels at home, safe, protected. If you put her into a bouncy thing or a crib, even though you know she is safe, she may not feel it. And babies are different. Some are fine and don’t cry when left alone for periods of time, but many babies want constant contact, and that’s perfectly normal.
That’s how my daughter was as an infant, and I was a single mom, so it was tough to get things done while carrying her around all the time. My advice: Buy a front fitted baby carrier. They allow you to place the baby in front of you so the baby’s head rests against your chest, but it allows your hands and arms to be free. I wore mine all the time, and I was able to grocery shop and clean my house and sit down to play on the computer and get back up, and she was perfectly content. She slept through most of it.
After a few months, they outgrow the need to constantly be held. They like to play with hanging toys and they start exploring body mechanics, and then they start rolling and crawling and walking and running and getting into everything. And then you wish you could stuff them back into a carrier so you can get a moment’s peace! 🙂
Look into something like this if you don’t already have one. They come in many styles with different features at different prices. I had a pretty basic one, but it gave me so much freedom! Some can be converted into back carriers, which are nice when they get a bit older. https://www.target.com/c/baby-carriers-gear-activity/carrier/-/N-5q0euZ5vac9

hi everyone! i haven’t read everything, but i saw AMBERROSE was here!!!
motherhood is quite challenging! she might have to be a tad bit older to be more relaxed not being held – she’s used to being comforted all the time when you carried her those first 9 months 😉 one tip with the swing – swinging side to side instead of front to back was much more relaxing for my babies – not sure why, but that was absolutely the case
another tip is holding her belly down on your arm, with her head near your elbow, and pat her back a little – you might be surprised how much gas pressure that relieves LOL that and having them lie on their backs & “bicycling” their legs sure seems to help relieve gas pressure so babies can relax … baby gas is funny 😆 clockwise belly rubs were relaxing too …

Hi everyone!
Been behind in reading so some of these comments were from previous posts.
Thanks for updating the codes, will have to make time to put them all in soon.
Cheese, thanks for the lovely giftz you sent earlier (wasn’t sure if I posted my TY here yet in addition to WW). Hope school is going well for you. Also thanks for pointing out Mist’s wonderful Little House on the Prairie room design on WKN. I had to enlarge the room on youtube to catch all the great details. The “shower cap” you used was just darling!
Thanks also to Mist, Rubycubes and gagagee for the wonderful presents!
Rubycubes, I was happy to read that your hubby is progressing well. It must be a relief to see him upright without a boot on all the time. And it’s great that you’ll get a breather before your daughter’s surgery. How did your daughter’s pizza party turn out?
Congrats on your warthog’s successful show, moms! Don’t know how you juggle all their schedules so well, they’re so lucky to have you. I just have one to chauffeur and I’m ready to go to bed the minute I get home, lol. My honey has been driving a little bit but I still mostly take him to work every other day (he works from home the other days) so he wouldn’t have to climb up and down hills to get to/from parking garages downtown.
I’ve been trying to keep up on WW by doing only one account thru St. Patrick’s day (almost missed the coin box but managed to get 3 accounts before midnight) and got a floaty or two. Also just managed to eek out enough games to get the deluxe challenge and the trophy on one account. The Spring Celebration prizes are too good to miss so I’d have to do a bit more. Anyway, posting this now before I lose the post and returning tomorrow to catch up some more.
Goodnight!

Happy Monday, everyone! I love Christmas in July, but Christmas in March is even better! Thank you, everyone! And thank you, Ruby, for the extra gifts. I LOVE those little lamps! Why don’t they bring stuff like that back?
Great to hear a baby update, Amber! I recommend reading everything you can get your hands on (and have time for) so you can get some sleep, too! My twins had to stay in the hospital for a week, because they were premies, and the hospital put them on a 3-hour schedule. When they came home, they pretty much stuck to it, and I was so grateful! I read the book, Babywise, which helped to figure out the best order for their natural rhythms (sleep, eat, play, repeat) and they both slept through the night at six weeks. I know not everyone likes putting babies on a schedule, but it worked so well for all of mine and I still had plenty of time to hold them and enjoy them. And I survived with most of my sanity intact! 🙂
We got our new cabinets up the end of last week, and I spent the weekend filling everything back up. Ahhhhh! I love getting the house back together piece by piece. Two of the cabinets were broken, so it’s still not finished, but they should be rushed through and here soon. While I was putting things back, I think I broke my toe … stubbed it on a stool leg, and it turned completely purple by the evening. Haven’t seen stars like that since last 4th of July. Yowch! At least it is one in the middle, so I can still walk. Heels for Easter services might be out, though. 🙁
Lots of eggs to catch the next few days! I didn’t do too well with my free white chocolate eggs, but they usually give us two, so hoping I’ll get a few more things with the second one! If not, I’ll be begging … I mean, asking, nicely for extras. 🙂
Have a great week, everyone!
