hitting store tomorrow in advance of the panicky herd……….then hopefully library on friday and then stay home all weekend……..BIL is due down from MI on friday with road trip plans with dh…………we shall see……….they are “men”, so they will drive wherever, whenever etc etc etc……….however, i told dh to keep in mind that where they drive may be closed because it is the south!
anyways……….gonna make a pineapple upside down cake cuz they be stinkin good and meat pie and maybe beef stroghanoff for company……….i need to remember to pick up some pizza rolls tho for my kids! ha ha ha ha ha ha

I ran into Maze on amazing world today lucked out reminded her about the blog. Turns out YD was playing more than I realized but just things by herself like crafting and decorating. She doesn’t want to go on now for the last couple of weeks it will just make her sad. Took a bunch of screen shots probably won’t look at them unless I want a name for a webkinz but I have them if I get feeling nostalgic.

Lemony you can already use the hamster codes on Webkinz too. Except for when there was glitching issues or the hamster codes were originally from webkinz and they were too old you could use them both places from when they introduced them to AW.

Hi gaga!! I think I’m doing well. Still a bit of discomfort, not enough to set off any alarms to call dr. My thigh is still numb, tho’ fully functional, so I’m good with that. Biggest gripe lately is not having my truck. dd has been using it to save miles on her leased Acura. I’m ready to get it back, but her Acura is buried in snow in our side driveway. What a mess, but feel guilty griping when so many are losing their homes to mudslides and all sorts of weather related disaster type things. I’ll count my blessings and pray for those truly in need. ♥

Quick hello before heading to work. I’ve been busy tidying things up before heading on my 2 week vacation on Monday. We have extreme freezing weather warnings here today so I’m excited to get some sun.

Ugh, it just hit me…they’re probably going to remove Glideheart and Thrash Mountain from various game sites too, since those also use Unity Player. (Glideheart is an AW tie-in game that you can find on Steam and Kongregate, and Thrash Mountain is sort of like Moolah Mountain.) Now I have to go play those till my eyes cross before they’re gone, too. 🙁
lemony – question for you. Do Bowie and Stardrop zing codes count for getting free pets? I have a bunch of those codes unused from renewing memberships. (You got them every time you bought a membership, and there’s no way I needed three of those on my account, lol!)

Interior is all Tinkerbell… floor mats, car blanket, backpack for all those things you wouldn’t want to be without, etc. When our two granddaughters played softball, seemed I lived out of my truck. bepsy, thanks for posting the code for the 2018 winterfest cookie prize. i tried it on 3 accounts and got 2 of the dark blue/green winterfest ski goggles (as opposed to the ski goggles from the flakes) plus a chalet chair so am holding off on the other accounts until later.

i persisted in trying to get my macbook pro’s keyboard fixed so they finally relented and had me drop off the laptop today to send out to Apple. it sounds like they won’t charge for getting the return key functional again (either cleaned or replaced) – we’ll see how that goes. the macbook is what i use when i get home from work so i’ll have to post here during the day while i’m on my work laptop while i try to keep up with the blog at night on my phone. macbook will be back sometime next week as early as Tuesday or as late as Friday. wish me luck!

after the 1st airbook i had 7 years ago didn’t cause me back pain when i carried it around, i got the lightest macbook pro a year ago when it was time to replace the first one. figured it’s cheaper than the mri’s plus rehab plus acupuncture i used to need when my back bothered me from carrying the equivalent windows laptop that was almost twice as heavy. i plan to keep this one for at least another 5 or so years so i figured not having it for around a week would be worth it.
how much snow will you be getting, dee?

Happy New Year Old Friends.
I know I have not been on for a long time.
Life has been hectic for the last few years.
Work is just insanely busy and we keep going through designers like a revolving door. Hopefully this new crew will stick with us.
Mom had an ruptured aneurysm a couple of years ago. She is lucky she is alive.
Then she had a really bad car accident a year and a half ago, she hasn’t driven since then. The New Year greated her with a TIA and they found another small aneurysm in the area that her first ruptured one. Luckily for now this one is not active, but with her BP up and down I feel like it is a ticking time bomb.
She is also borderline Kidney Dialysis, I have been told that in itself will be a nightmare for both of us.
I had bronchitis for 4 weeks to end off my year.
I miss you Moms, Gramma, Zingy, Dee, TMT and many others.
Just wanted to let you know. I am still on the planet earth.
Also wanted to wish you a Safe, Happy, Healthy and Prosperous New Years!

Morning Gymbonians!
I hope everyone in the path of nasty winter weather stays safe. It’s a balmy 64 degrees here today. Last week at this time it was -2! I’d much rather have today’s weather, even if it’s raining lol.
Did anybody else get the ski slopes wallpaper from the cookies, or was that just a fluke I lucked out on? Usually, I get to watch as everybody else gets the lucky fluke, so I’m feeling double lucky.
My younger daughter and I were both devastated by the announcement of the closure of AW, but we decided we’re not gonna wallow in our misery like we did when they closed Mazin’ Hamsters. As therapy, we started a joint WW account last year and entered hamster codes in it and started recreating the hamster maze rooms. We decided we’re going to add Amazing World rooms to that account, and we’ve already gotten started. If we can’t have the real thing, by gum, we’re going to have a decent facsimile.
We’re actually thinking of adding a couple of Nakamas rooms to that account, too, so we can keep the whole dead websites motif going, lol! Anybody have a clue if there’s Nakamas stuff in WW besides the t-shirt and the poster? That’s all I could find on my many accounts. I could have sworn there was a bracelet in a box and a wreath, too, but I can’t find them anyplace, and I spent hours last night digging around in dusty storage rooms, lol. Oh well, I guess I better go research Nakamas in WW and see if there’s anything else. If anybody has a Nakamas bracelet or wreath that you don’t need, give me a holler and let me know what you want in exchange!
Speaking of giving out things, speak up if you need Winterfest prizes. I have them coming out my ears!

This is a quick pic of the Nakamas images I could find. I have the t-shirt and poster, can’t find the bracelet or wreath, and had no idea there was a hoodie, lol. I know the sewing machine on the bottom, the couch, the window, and the toy box are estore items because I’ve seen them there a million times. I had no idea they were Nakamas tie-ins, lol. I have no idea where the sewing machine on the top comes from.
Anybody have the bottom (estore) sewing machine? Its official title is Pretty Patterns Sewing Machine. If so, can you tell me if it is animated? If it’s not, we’re not going to bother buying it and we’ll just use the sewing machine from the Creative Studio theme because I know *that* one is animated.

Boper, you crazy thing! Thanks for the Nakamas bracelet and the Polar PJ items! I *still* hadn’t bought any Polar PJ yet (lazy this month lol) so those are my first Polar PJ things. So thank you, thank you, thank you! One thing though: you failed to mention what you want in exchange!
Your wish list is a barren wasteland, lol, so you’ll have to give me a clue.
I’ll try to get some of my hamster rooms posted later. I’m eating lunch now and then I have to go car shopping, ugh. I hate car shopping. Maybe I’ll get a gramma truck and add a gun rack for dee!

hope the rest of you are thawing or at least staying warm – cold front rushes through here tonight, but i think all of the moisture is ahead of it for us, so possible any remaining runoff freezes, but they aren’t calling for buying bread 🙂

Boper, you were in HAWAII?!?! No fair! I just spent a miserable day slogging around car lots in the pouring rain and you were in paradise on earth? That sounds like a dream vacation. I’m so glad that you got to experience Hawaii. Was the seafood as incredible as I’ve heard? And did you surf? I love watching surfing but there’s no way I’ll ever try it…I’m a mountain girl, not an ocean girl.
Good news…I found a car! Just have to shuffle some paperwork and that chore’s out of the way for years, lol.

I know the feeling Patsie. I was just doing some of that too for a web enhanced class. I get stuff assigned that’s due all throughout the week even Saturdays and holiday Mondays. If I can help it next quarter I’m going to avoid web stuff like the plague
