A lot of us are waiting for the release of the webkinz hallooween items. Some rumor is we will start seeing these spooky items as early as today (on Asian Accounts). Let us know if you know the scoop of if you find pics…….

In the meantime here’s a mini Comment Contest for ya! Add gymbonkinz!

Remember the rules:

AL- Weird….you should change your password if you havn’t done so already. Well..if that is all they stole…that is very weird of a hacker to do. Usually a hacker would change your password and steal everything of yours. Maybe it was a person who knows you that stole it.

No one knew my pass, and no one new any of my codes, i have gotten them all myself……The only ones i have gotten codes from was my love pup and sherbet bunny i bought off ebay, and Gymbo who i traded a love pup PSI for a bat code, but i totally trust Gymbo, i know she wouldn’t do it.

This is a wild guess but I think hackers hack for money.
On ioffer.com people sell virtual webkinz items for lots of money… a skater cat trophy when for $360 and a B&Y clock goes for around $50..

Kylie – It isn’t a problem with anyone here (trusted traders), Gymbo or Momskinz, it is someone else outside.

the only sites i can get on are webkinzinsider this blog,webkinz and google, i can’t go on to ioffer,webkinz showcase,topix,and other sites. When i click “log in” webkinz, it’s takes a long time to load, than ther is a page load error thing. Maybe it’s my computer?

KK@H, i learned about WW in November 06 (a year before i got the raccoon) And last november i was at the mall with my mom and i saw the raccoon at FYE ( i fell in love with it!) And i just relized a few weeks ago when my friend showed my her raccoon, that mine was different, my raccoon has 3 left paws, less stuffing, and if you were to pet it you would start at the tail not the head. Actually, we are recommending that you only trade for codes with Gymbo, tmt, or me . . . basically the Admins at this site . . . we have not been able to rule out a “trusted” trader on this, and it seems that some of the hacking is unrelated to pet codes anyway . . .
you need to make sure that you have an obscure password – do not use your pet’s name, family member’s name, your birthday, etc. because that information tends to “slip out” in conversation

This makes me really mad. Who in their right mind cares enough about stupid virtual items to STEAL them from someone else? Especially stealing from children! It is simply ridiculous. This is a fun hobby, but I simply cannot comprehend taking it THAT seriously.
It is stealing no matter how you look at it, though, and is it worth the guilt, and the bad “karma” over some virtual items? I swear this makes me furious and so incredibly frustrated.
Can you tell that I am very upset by this? I am very trusting and generous, and I take this personally when someone betrays all of us this way. Even if it is not someone from the blog, it is still a betrayal within the Webkinz community. And to think one of our trusted “friends” could have betrayed the entire blog this way??? It is despicable. Let me just say this, if you are here, reading this, make this right and return the items either via Gymbo, me, another admin, Naki, or someone trusted here. If you do not, the next time something bad happens to you, just remember in the back of your mind, that you bring all bad things onto yourself when you do bad things to others . . .
Okay, I went on my rant a lot longer than I intended this time, but I want all of you to know that I care what happens to you, among us friends, and all in all we still count our blessings in that we have this neat connection where we can talk about the important things and thank goodness that these are only virtual items that do not have real value when we add up the really important things in our lives!

moms-giving it away. I have thought, and I think I’ve spent to much time on webkinz, and maybe if I wasn’t so obsessed my rabbit would still be alive, who knows, one decision changes everything. AL — I just mean….take the time to really think about what you are sending and to whom. I’ve just watched a lot of greed (not just here, but at WI too in the gifted section giveaways) and it makes me very sad. Anna- lol just get your good items out and put them up. If it’s a person who knows what and how rare it is, they will offer you good stuff. Then keep it up and offer other stuff. If you obviously “overpay” for their item, take down the good item they wanted in the first place and sometimes that works for me.

Yes, I have a freezer room. And it’s FULL! And that doesn’t even include the refridgerators that are in other rooms that are also FULL. lol, it’s terrible!
