Hi guys!
Just a quick check in. I don’t have very much time to post as my laptop is about to die, but I just wanted to let everyone know that I am doing better today and appreciate you guys being here. <3 Also, I peeked at some of you guys' wish lists and actually saw some things that I have that I could send out. I will try to post either later today or tomorrow what I saw and on who's wish lists and then hopefully send out those gifts to you guys.

Good morning !
Hope today finds you all well..and ready to start a new day !
Sunday gathering .. making spaghetti..sausage..
grilled yesterday… really scary.. the entire bottom of the grill was in flames.. black smoke pouring out the the grill.. temp on the grill as high as the dial would allow !… quickly turned the propane off… took forever the temperature to go down… never happened before.. hope it is ok today. grilling the sausage for the spaghetti… bro up from Georgia for the weekend so he will be on hand if
the grill blows up………………………..
weather feels like spring after the bitter cold last week.. predicted to be in the forty’s this week…
Officially off from work… The Dr. who manages the clinic decided to go cruising the first week of Jan…. so unexpected week off !!! Totally 3 weeks of vacation….
So much to do in WW and RL.. but having fun doing everything..

Good morning, all! Wow, I can’t remember a busier time … hardly ten minutes of flexible time to play WW, but I am determined to get those gnomes! And I love Mrs. Birdy’s prizes this year, so I don’t want to miss any.
Thank you, Wophy, for the costume from my wish list! Sorry, I’m so late giving you a proper thank you … I was so happy to get it, but had to rush right off afterward. I am SOOOO looking forward to getting through these last 3 days of school, so I can have a few extra minutes in the morning. My house looks like a tornado ran through it. There are piles everywhere!!! Hoping the video cameras aren’t lurking outside of my window to put me on the next edition of Hoarders. Yikes!

Hoping to have time to check wish lists next weekend. I rarely have anything that anyone wants, but we have a few new people who are like me (took a WW break for several years), so maybe I can find something to pay forward. Still think I am halfway crazy for having a pixel collection … go figure. 🙂

Flowiing was here! Graduating from college today, congratulations.

Okay, as promised, here is the contest for the Gold Sparkle Gumball Machine!
My dad has, for more years than I’ve been alive, recited his own version of “‘Twas the Night Before Christmas” and I grew up knowing both his version and the real version by heart. I can’t possibly post his version on this website, because I’d be banned for life! (Small sample: Away to the window I flew like a flash, tore open the shutters and fell on my ___. Now, you see why I can’t post his version?!) So I thought it would be really fun if I turned “‘Twas the Night Before Christmas” into a Mad Lib! Whoever has the funniest or most ridiculous version will be the big winner of the Gold Sparkle Gumball Machine! And please, so nobody gets banned, keep it at a PG rating!
The instructions are simple. Just fill in the CAPITALIZED ITEMS in the poem according to what the CAPITALIZED ITEM calls for. (For ease, you can copy and paste in a document and then edit it and copy and paste it here.) It does not have to rhyme, but I would be amazed if somebody managed to make it rhyme! The winner will be announced on Christmas Day!
â€˜Twas the night before HOLIDAY, when all through the BUILDING
Not a creature was VERB ENDING IN “ING”, not even a(n) ANIMAL.
The ARTICLE OF CLOTHING (PLURAL) were hung by the HOUSE PART with care,
In hopes that FICTIONAL CHARACTER soon would be there.
The children were nestled all snug in their FURNITURE,
While visions of FOOD danced in their heads.
And SLANG WORD FOR “MOTHER” in her ARTICLE OF CLOTHING, and I in my ARTICLE OF CLOTHING,
Had just settled our BODY PART (PLURAL) for a long winterâ€™s nap.
When out on the lawn there arose such a SOUND,
I VERB (PAST TENSE) from the FURNITURE to see what was the matter.
Away to the window I flew like a NOUN,
Tore open the NOUN and VERB (PAST TENSE) up the sash.
The moon on the breast of the new-fallen NOUN
Gave the lustre of mid-day to objects below.
When, what to my ADJECTIVE eyes should appear,
But a(n) ADJECTIVE sleigh, and eight ADJECTIVE reindeer.
With a(n) ADJECTIVE old driver, so lively and ADJECTIVE,
I knew in a moment it must be FICTIONAL CHARACTER.
More rapid than ANIMAL (PLURAL) his coursers they came,
And he VERB (PAST TENSE), and VERB (PAST TENSE), and called them by name!

When they meet with a(n) NOUN, mount to the sky.

With the sleigh full of NOUN (PLURAL), and FICTIONAL CHARACTER too.
And then, in a twinkling, I heard on the NOUN
The VERB ENDING IN “ING” and VERB ENDING IN “ING” of each little NOUN.
As I drew in my NOUN, and was turning around,
Down the chimney FICTIONAL CHARACTER came with a SOUND.
He was dressed all in NOUN, from his head to his foot,
And his clothes were all ADJECTIVE ENDING IN “ED” with ashes and soot.
A bundle of NOUN (PLURAL) he had flung on his back,
And he looked like a(n) OCCUPATION TITLE, just opening his pack.
His eyes-how they VERB (PAST TENSE)! his dimples how ADJECTIVE!
His cheeks were like PLANT, his BODY PART like a FRUIT!
His ADJECTIVE little mouth was drawn up like a bow,
And the beard of his chin was as COLOR as the snow.
The stump of a NOUN he held ADVERB in his teeth,
And the smoke it VERB (PAST TENSE) his head like a wreath.
He had a(n) ADJECTIVE face and a little ADJECTIVE belly,
That shook when he laughed, like a CONTAINER OF FOOD!
He was ADJECTIVE and plump, a right ADJECTIVE old elf,
And I VERB (PAST TENSE) when I saw him, in spite of myself!
A wink of his eye and a twist of his BODY PART,
Soon gave me to know I had nothing to VERB.

hi everyone! seems the last few days are a blur – i’m getting ready to fly to the east coast to see family. between shopping, cleaning, catching up with work, etc, both honey and i end up having early evening naps to get thru the rest of the night. he’s getting much better but he recently tried a cane (instead of a crutch) and, just with the small difference in balancing made his knee act up. i had to call the airlines to make sure they’d let us take the crutch and help us find a good seat for him because he still needs his brace to keep his leg straight. i was on hold on the phone today with delta for a good 50 minutes but then the rep was incredibly helpful – we got upgraded to a seat with a little more room, hooray!
chant, so sorry for your family’s loss. it’s especially hard around the holidays. hope all the good memories of christmases past will get your sis thru this one.

Just another quick check in! Yesterday was my birthday, so the family and I are on a little overnight trip. I know I will be busy today with some fun things, so I will make it a priority to post a little bit more tomorrow (Tuesday).

zingy – delta will provide him with a wheel chair, and a person to push it through the airport! i highly recommend that – when i broke my foot a few years ago, it really got us around security lines – not worth the injury, but might as well get something good out of it
watch out for the cane, too in that it can cause his knee or hip on the other side to hurt – it really knocks you off balance – he’s probably better off with a walker if the crutches are a problem

Has anyone noticed that when you open the Peek A Newz gift boxes that there seems to be a lucky/rare streak? I opened 2 and got purple theme furniture. Then spun mobile wheel of wow. Then opened 5 more and got: zicorn lamp, butterfly window, zicorn window, butterfly window, and black boots (in that order). I got three rare items in a row. This has happened before as well. Has anyone had this happen?
