The Countryside Christmas and Home for the Holidays room themes are available now, but you’ll want to act quick, because both of these themes will be retired on December 31st (midnight, EST) and you never know which items will be back and which items will be retired for good!

Shorty.. I use a bissell proheat. It has paid for itself many times over as we clean the carpets 2-3 times a year. It came in handy when the girls were younger and got sick(picture projectile vomit after eating carrots..) And it seems to work really well at getting both stains and smells out of our beige carpets.

Kentucky isn’t that far, at least the part that is next to Ohio anyway. We did a summer vacation there a few years ago to visit the aquarium. OD is a Slytherin. YD is a Huffleclaw. Sorted by the official site into Hufflepuff, we made her wait until she was eleven. But the library club just pulls stones from a hat so she was put in Ravenclaw when she was nine. OD just conveniently ended up in the correct house by the random sort. YD actually started and ran a Harry Potter club at her upper elementary school 5/6 grade. The city library club started up about seven years ago or so. OD was invited to join with a Hogwarts letter she was so excited. As a result of the club YD has friends in their twenties. I don’t know if there are any adult Harry Potter clubs. We have so much Harry Potter costume stuff. I even made some jewelry with the baking clay.

Oxyclean powder. But you need to be careful where you put it, can bleach color out. Our one cat had diabetes and when he was older had issues with going odd places. I’d put the powder down, get it wet, cover it with plastic wrap then let sit for three days. That was how long it seemed to need to soak bad stains out in clothes so I went with that for the couch and rug too. Took the smell out unlike the enzyme stuff I had used before. I’d pull up the big chunks of dried cleaner then vacuum the rest up.

Oh LeeAnn, you poor thing. Having had dogs and cats all my life, there is nothing worse than cat pee. It is the worst of the worst. I hope everything came out. My aunt’s cat that I helped her take care of passed away about a year ago. He was a mad pooper. 😆
I don’t know if this will work on cat pee, but it sure works on anything dog related. It’s exactly what tmt does from 18, just the old school version…white vinegar and baking soda. Blot up as much of the stain/mess with vinegar as you can, then cover with baking soda (it may bubble a bit) and let sit for 3 days. Pull up the big chucks and vac. I got all the stains up from the dogs rear surgery nightmare last month. If the stain is old or really stubborn you can get an old white or light colored towel (one that won’t bleed color onto your carpet) dampen the stain with vinegar, put the towel over and iron over the towel with your iron set to med. The heat brings the stain right up into the towel. Move the towel around as needed to get all the stain up then toss the towel in the wash. Cover the stain with the baking soda and let sit.
Ruby—I’m relieved I didn’t offend you with prayers for your daughter. That is the last thing I would want to do. I too am old enough to get the SNL quote! I even heard the voice as I was reading! 😆

Patsie, I saw your comment asking whether I get headaches frequently or if the one I had the other day was sort of a “rare” thing. Unfortunately, headaches and migraines are no rarity for me. I have them all the times, sometimes every day of the week, varying in severity. I can think of plenty of factors that might attribute to them, but a lot of those factors are unable to be changed at the moment as far as I can tell.
I have a lot more I’d like to say about Gymbo’s being 10 (wow!), the gnome codes, etc. but I really need to go now. I have this huge project that I need to have done in just a few short hours that I’ve hardly made a dent on.
I’ll talk to you guys later!

tree is decorated………not as much as years past, but honestly just does not seem right…………..
one present under the tree, from skitty kitty to dd (her cat)…..i have some stuff to wrap for dd before she gets here next week, but she likes wrapping, so she will wrap all of dhs and the cats gifts.
oh and pet people……….do you think my “kitten” will notice he is only getting one gift this year (a package of ping pong balls)? last year he got three…..still no idea what to get skitty kitty………..she is not into toys as much as the kitten is……..so maybe just a can of fancy feast????

and you cold weather folks……………gotta tell the wood burning fireplace is wonderful………my heat is set to 61 and has only come on a couple times. i think it was totally worth the investment to get the energy efficient woodstove. and it is pretty! and we got energy rebates! but man oh man, last electric bill was 48 dollars and we are an all electric house………..woo hoo!

Three requests keep reappearing ! Kind of distressing .. Any suggestions would be appreciated… Any time I have tried e mailing Ganz Support.. get generic response..

steve im not sure where to ask this question, there is a user who keeps sending friend requests on one of my childs accounts over and over as soon as I delete the request or block the request it continues to come back. no exaggeration 20 times in 15 minutes. this is not only harassing my child but even scarier that the block button does not work and the user will not stop. can you fix this please. thank you for your time looking into this breach of the users agreement

Congrats on your test result Bepsy. Good luck with your last test. OD is done Wednesday and I am picking her up Thursday as the Wednesday test is at night. Mac and cheese sounds good. Hubby’s family is making lasagna and sausage.

We have snow here too. Also weird for it to be sticking around before Christmas but it has snowed a little the last three days. Not enough to be a road problem around here as long as people are careful but a little slippery. I am worried about hubby he is sick too and in no shape on the coughing front to be shoveling snow. I am thinking we should just let it go and hope it melts. I wish he had his normal three weeks off. Too much time off from robotics this past year with States, Worlds and a off season trip out of state.

No favorite Christmas movies here. I’ve seen It’s a Wonderful Life, and it’s a classic. I think it’s worth seeing, but it’s not something I’d watch over and over again.
Dee – I can totally understand not wanting to share personal information, like the names of your cats, on the internet.
Of course, Dad’s mug shot is all over the internet, so I guess I will share. He has no shame. We actually had a professional photo shoot of our babies done two years ago at Christmas. That is not an easy task! Below are the pictures we had done. The grey guy is Dad. He is extremely intelligent, but crazy neurotic and very possessive. He wants to be in my lap 24/7. Dad sleeps right up against me every night. He’s my little shadow. And if I don’t give him the attention he wants, he’s a total drama queen.
The black cat is Chase. He’s Dad’s brother. We adopted them together as kittens, and they have a special language. They talk to each other all the time with little bumbles and chirps. Chase is genuinely the sweetest, most gentle creature I’ve ever met. He is so calm and chill. Any time you look at him or talk to him, he starts purring. He’s a huge cat, but he’s a big teddy bear. You can pick him up, cuddle him, hold him like a baby and he just loves it. He follows me all over the house like a little pup, and he sleeps on my pillow right next to my head every night. He’s my little sweetie.
Sasha is the orange and white kitty. She’s our old girl. She came to live with us when she was close to a year old, and she has been with us for 10 years. She’s still healthy and spunky. She’s very sweet and cuddly with people, but she hates the boys. As long as they leave her alone, she tolerates them, but if they come near her or start following her, she hisses at them. She used to be a very athletic cat, but she is pretty stiff now. She definitely shows signs of arthritis, but she still gets up and moves around every day. So that’s our happy little furry family.

All you have to do is turn off porch and house lights, go outside, get your eyes acclimated to the dark and begin looking up. The waning crescent moon will be in a last-quarter phase, and it’s not going to rise until about 3:45 a.m., which means the sky will be plenty dark. Hello Matoaca. Two teen daughters here too that got me involved earning kinzcash when they were little. Started February 2007 but didn’t play for a few years due to arthritis.
Finally started feeling bad enough there seemed a point to the doctor, took YD as well. Cause she started with an icky sounding cough Monday night. Sinus infections for both of us.

I was up all day cause of the doctor and getting supplies and medicine so I was in bed at 5:30 pm and slept until about midnight. Missed Webkinz for the day but I think I am fine as long as I get on tonight. Most of the accounts are done with the trophy and didn’t miss a gnome day or Miss Birdy’s 12 days of Christmas. Which I should of put that on the post too now that I think about it.
