   anyone know taxes? or where to direct me?

   we have had about 20k in med/dental expenses this year…….i know it has to be ten percent to even claim, and we have easily met that………..the irs site kind of stinks………..not sure if we should standard or do long form due to all of these expenses………..thanks in advance!
   and i did google about med and dental expenses and eyeballs……..did not know premiums were part of the deal!
   i know miss zingy would know……….

   Hello everyone. I have quite the back log of reading comments to do. Been a busy few days. I did manage to get on Webkinz some.

   Does anyone need the scarecrow from Deluxe day? I have an extra.

   The picnic game was interesting. Haven’t played it much the first trophy was earned in 2 to 4 kinz cash increments. By the fourth I was managing 6 to 20 kinz cash a game. Noticed the high score of the day was 6 times the points I was getting, how in the world do they control a string of ants that long.

   Congrats to Boper and Mist. I’ll have to go check out the rooms when I get back from taking YD to dance.

   Robotics went well this weekend the team brought home first and second place trophies. They were running the practice robot too, so the incoming Freshmen could get some more practice in for the season in the winter since they will be building their own robot. Rained a lot this weekend we were all damp at the Marching band competition. Our high school was the host, they made the poor kids stand out the entire time awards were being given to the other teams participating. No rain gear or umbrellas the color guard who doesn’t wear much were soaked through. I sometimes wonder at the common sense of the people running things. When it was so hot a few weeks ago they had nine kids from various teams get sick. A string of ambulances visited the event. Tradition and how things are done is one thing but they are young not invincible.

    Hello all!! Sorry I haven’t been on lately. I have extra of the deluxe item if anyone needs it, I also have an extra trophy from that terrible ant game if anyone needs lol. I played it three times and couldn’t bring myself to do it again. I hate that game. Anyhoo, thank you all for the congrats on my room! I know I wont win any trophies, but I am happy to have any of my rooms featured! CONGRATS to Boper for his awesome eclipse room being featured!! I love that room!!!

    No signs of Tricky Tuesday… Called Ganz yesterday about the glitch with not receiving spider car… Stated that not being awarded because I had ordered the witches hat fences… and they considered those a “bundle”… After some discussion.. they credited me the points for the car !
    Also inquired about the Witches Cottage but rep said that they are not
    permitted to have that info… ? secret info I guess.. Maybe today !

    gaga, they’ve contained some of the fire while some areas are still under evacuation. the winds picked up then died down again so hopefully they’ll make some progress again. my honey had to go get seen at urgent care. he may have torn a muscle or ligament in his quad. he got a leg brace and got an MRI last night. we’ll find out about the results when he sees ortho this Thursday. i hope he doesn’t need surgery. maintenance won’t be until towards the end of the month (they changed it to monthly).

    dee, you have to itemize deductions on 1040 to claim medical expenses.

    i knew about the itemization which means not taking standard deductions….

    just wondering if anyone had done it………..we had to do long form the past two years due to jury pay………….only jury pay!!!!!!!!

    we have only done the long form for itemization when we lived in AK as the house interest on crazy priced alaska houses made it feasible.

    and i knew you would know and hoped you would hop on here! how are the fires?

    dee, i’ve never itemized medical deductions as even when it went over 10% of adjusted gross income, it wasn’t a significant change in the return that it was worth itemizing for. i use a cpa to prepare taxes but i also use turbo tax to kind of pre-check what deductions i can use and also as a back check to see if the accountant missed any. i just never submit thru turbotax so i don’t have to put in my real social security number when i use it.

    the wine country fires were supposedly 50% contained over the weekend. not sure where it is now but there’s another set of fires south of us. i hear they are reopening 2 hospitals in the wine country that closed because of the fires so hopefully that means it is slowly returning to some semblance of normalcy.

    just this year with dds injury, dhs major dental work, dds dental work, phystical therapies etc……..it is all adding up……..even with our lovely medical insurance…..we have prolly 15k in bills paid already…………and then the link you gave zingy, says you can throw eye exams, glasses, prescriptions, insurance premiums into the mix too…………just a freaky year for us
    and then add in our charitable donations………..who knows…….

    Amazing world has the pumpkins for collecting from out. Haven’t seen anything new yet, so not sure if they have added items. There are more amazing tubes in the botanical area but they don’t all work. They are longer and there are dead ends this time.

    Good morning, all! Totally missed the suit day. I usually log on early, and then never quite get back on to check things out. Story of my life right now, but it sounds like everyone got a good deal or two. 🙂

    Moms! Thanks for the halloween outfit! They really made some good ones over the years … I don’t know how they keep coming up with ideas. I always had a hard time coming up with costume ideas for my kids. Of course, it is a little easier when you can just add a few pixels to complete your outfit.

    Thanks to everyone offering trophies … I would love one if someone really has an extra and doesn’t mind parting with it; however, I feel guilty for asking since I didn’t really try hard enough. So ONLY if you really don’t mind …

    I *think* Saturday will be our first NORMAL Saturday in a month, so I’m really looking forward to catching up while everyone sleeps in. My favorite time of the week, hands down. It’s been a while!
