Hi friends! I’ve finally gotten around to organizing some of my favorite room designs, and I would like to share them with you. I’m posting them in no particular order. Two of them have been featured on Webkinz Newz, but all of them have been submitted. Some of my designs have been inspired by others I’ve seen. I hope these inspire some of you. If you have designs to share, I would LOVE to see them. Please post them here or start another thread!

Putting the paths between the apple trees in the apple orchard was brilliant
so clever having a backyard birthday party!
the fact that you have a room full of webkinz dressed for the costume party – i’m in awe! so theme!
i love the depth of the enchanted castle with the walls and towers and water tiles
ghost town – you nailed the depth on this with the beautiful trees behind the haunted houses – and making a ghost town with the halloween theme pieces – so gorgeous
the campground – love the use of the zipline and the yeti forest pieces in there
the mexican restaurant – that’s A LOT of chihuahua chairs! the fountain in the middle reminds me of a mexican restaurant where we used to eat every week – good memories
i want to live among those zums – it reminds me of munchkin land which is a wonderful thing
spooky’s mansion – so clever to put all of those pieces together to build a mansion! i applaud your creativity!
kornz concert with the depth of the stage and those walls – genius – and stairs going down into the room – it’s quite the venue!
ah the open mic cafe! the improv table and the piano – it’s exactly an open mic cafe, of course it is!
crystal caverns – let’s go hiking there! who’s in with me??? putting those walls around the cave gets two thumbs up from me
that bear has the perfect waterside campground for a pic-a-nic đ
the upscale kitchen looks like something you would see on a tv show of a room design – so boujee
room with a mirrored wall took me a minute – i’m kind of thinking it’s a fun house at a carnival – fun but kind of creepy too

Boper – I would love to hear your comments on these designs, and I would LOVE to see more of your room designs. I know you’re busy with school, but please post them when you have time!
Dee – LOL. I’ve lived in my house for 8 years, and until last year none of our windows had curtains. We put blinds up when we moved in, and the only reason I put curtains up last year was because we made a bunch of changes to increase energy efficiency and bring down the heating bills. We have thermal curtains on all of our windows now, and they aren’t necessarily the most lovely aesthetic, but between that and the other improvements we made, we cut our heating bills in half last year (although we also had a super mild winter). At any rate… no judgement here!
Moms – Thank you for taking the time to comment on each room. That was really sweet! I appreciate your feedback! As for my RL house… meh. That’s about all I can say. I live vicariously through my Webkinz. LOL. We bought an old farmhouse out in the country about 8 years ago. It was marketed as being fully renovated. I loved the way it was laid out (still do), and we had about $10,000 saved, which I had planned to put into furnishing and decor. The first winter here, we discovered that one large section of the house (about a third of the living space) had no heat. Unfortunately, we discovered that after the laundry room and bathroom pipes burst, which completely ruined the carpet in the bedroom.
We had HVAC and plumbing contractors come out. This is a very long and involved story, and probably quite boring. What we learned was that the contractor who had “renovated” the house had put new HVAC duct work in, but none of it was the right size, and there were no connections made in the walls, so the little bit of heat that was getting back there was bleeding into the wall space. The plumbing also was not designed properly, which contributed to the pipes freezing. We ended up gutting that entire section of the house (four rooms and a foyer), and found that the electric was not up to code, and the walls, windows, and doors were not framed properly. Walls were not anchored at the header or footer. They were just held together by drywall. My husband found that out when he went to knock a wall out at the bottom, and the whole thing came down on his head. He ended up in the hospital with a concussion. The windows and doors weren’t framed out or installed properly. The ceiling in several places had barely enough screws to keep it up, so it was only a matter of time before the ceiling came down… right over my daughter’s bed.
At any rate, the first year we were here, we ended up having to put in a new air conditioner, new HVAC, and new plumbing. The furnace was new when we bought the house, but the contractor who flipped the house didn’t have it installed properly, so we had to have it reinstalled. All of our savings went into that, which still left us with no electric or drywall in that section, which meant everything that was supposed to go back there (my daughter’s bedroom, a den, a laundry room, and a full bathroom) was completely useless, and everything was displaced into the other rooms. What was supposed to be my office became my daughter’s room. What was supposed to be the living room became my office.
It took us several years to save enough to really get started on it again, but by that time we needed a new roof and we had plumbing issues in another part of the house. And this is how it has been the entire time we’ve lived here. So things like curtains, and pretty paint, and decor… someday. LOL. We’ve gotten a lot of work done over the past year. We were able to finish the laundry room last year, which was awesome! I hauled laundry to the laundromat for 7 years, which isn’t a big deal if you don’t have a laundry room (I’ve lived in apartments and rentals in the past where that was the case), but it’s really frustrating when you have a laundry room, but it’s nonfunctional. But now it works perfectly! The rooms in that section all have electric, heat, central air, and insulation now. The HVAC, even with having it professionally installed, wasn’t enough, so we put electric heaters in each room to supplement. We’ve also replaced a couple windows and the back door. And with this place, it’s never just as easy as replacing a window. The wood all around the window was completely rotted through, so we had to remove the siding and reframe the exterior wall. Every time we get one project done, we discover another that needs to be done before we can finish this.
See, you had no idea the can of worms you were opening when you asked about my real house, Moms. đ
I can’t stand clutter, mess, and disorganization though. And I’m a bit of a germ freak (probably related to my background as a nurse). I am especially fastidious about food sanitation. I wash my hands very frequently when I’m cooking. If I’m working with raw meat, I disinfect my surfaces as I go. If I’m cooking raw meat, I switch spatulas once the meet is brown to keep from contaminating the cooked meat. Etc.
I’m also extremely organized. Like with my Ebay buying/selling, I mostly sell Webkinz, but I also sell clothes and other items, anything I can find a really good deal on. Everything that comes in goes into an incoming bin. I sort everything, take inventory, and then store it alphabetically. I don’t always know exactly what I have off the top of my head, but I can find anything I have within a minute or two when it sells.
So yes, super clean and super organized, but… this is my family room… 25 large totes (purple, blue, orange, pink, turquoise, green) stacked from floor to about 2 feet from the ceiling (as high as I can reach), in multiple rows, on each side of my desk (which is now in the family instead of the living room), because my kid, 8 years later, is still inhabiting my office, because her room still has no drywall.
In my mind, my house is decorated beautifully! In reality, maybe some day. In the meantime, I live vicariously through my Webkinz pets, decorating their rooms as meticulously as I would like to decorate my own.
Oh, and weird random question for everyone. Have you ever been decorating your Webkinz room and been like, Wow! This is so cute! I want to decorate my living room like this! But then you have that moment of clarity where you’re like… Yeah, but if I ever want to sell my house, nobody is going to buy it with a yellow living room with pictures of Wacky all over the place.

Next we have more clothing. First is the Snowflake Prince costume (which I’m saying now is going to be cracker clothing), the Sparkly Elf Dress (and more on that in a moment), the Flouncy Layered Skirt, the Stretchy Sweater Dress, the Casual Sport Coat, the Hoodie with Jean Jacket (when I was a teen, this is exactly what I wore in winter! Froze my butt off, but I looked cool, lol!), and the Dark and Broody Suit.

Up next are some dispensers. First is the Crab Apple Patio Plant (which I find confusing because crap apple is usually a tree!) and the Homemade Apple Cider; next is the Beautyberry Patio Plant (and yes, beautyberry is a real thing! It’s a common plant in the Southeastern US, that tastes super sweet) and the Beautyberry Mini Cake. Next is something you’ve seen before, but it has a name this time around, lol: the Pumpkin Surprise Candy Tree and the Pumpkin Surprise Truffles. Last are two foods that are not named yet, so I can’t tell you if they are recipes or PSFs or what.

Hey, guys. I know it’s been about a week since I was on last but I went on vacation and didn’t have access. I did get on Webkinz Mobile though, so I have tons of the Fall Fest prizes except for the hats. I need more of those.

I don’t think I’m the only one loving the new update either, right? There’s so much going on in October. I love Halloween and Fall so this is very exciting. I can’t wait to start collecting more costumes and the wheel prizes.

rubycubes – i knew you were having to do renovations, but i was picturing the rooms looking like my webkinz house, then your magical touch renovating them like your webkinz house! đ i understand the frustration of replacing the parts behind walls and walls – there’s nothing sexy about spending a ton of money on plumbing, electrical, hvac, etc. – i’ve been there – i think it’s a lot more fun buying furniture đ now if I only had a real life machine like the kinzcash machine with endless refills

lmbo.. anywho, I gave in.. really wanted clothing bags..
I am SOOOOOO disappointed.. 20 bags and got mostly stuff I didn’t want.
I would like the Belle dress,, I did get 1 pair of shoes and 1 wig.. no dress..
the beast costume.. 2 MASKS.. no feet no outfit.. sigh..1 mask for trade
I did get two full dark pilgrim outfits.. one for trade.
I got the cactus outfit..
2purple unicorn tiaras .. 1 for trade
and a bunch of other things..
mostly I am looking for the beast feet and outfit and the belle dress.. if anyone is interested in trading..

real life is such a mess so I’m not collecting as much acorns/leaves as I’d like, but on the bright side I got featured as one of the semi-finalists for that deluxe item contest! I’m looking forward to the one-month deluxe membership for all the runner ups đ (honestly I doubt that my teleporter will win since historically, the deluxe gift for full-year memberships so far are all rides) Kudos to all the other artists too, everyone was really creative!

Sorry I haven’t been around much. My dog got really sick last week and was given a 25% chance of making it until Tuesday. He is still here tonight. But he is 15 years old. He started vomitting and not eating, so we took him to the vet on Friday. We were informed that his glucose levels (731…normal 80-120), liver enzymes and calcium levels were off the charts. His kidneys were failing and he has bladder stones. It is believed that he has multiple forms of cancer. We had him hospitalized over the weekend to get his sugar under control. We brought him home on Monday. He remains mobile and doesn’t seem to be in any pain.
The whole situation is very confusing. If he has cancer, my goal is just to make him comfortable. I can’t bring myself to put him through surgeries and frequent doctors visits. We are giving him antibiotics and insulin here at home. He looked pretty bad for most of the day today, but then out of nowhere he decided to eat on his own! He’s regained some strength and is resting now.
I have cried so much my eyes are swollen. Please send well wishes to my Bailey.

hello everyone..
first let me address AMBER ROSE… I’m sorry to hear about your fur baby. sending healing thoughts and prayers
. I myself lost a furbaby a little over a year ago.. miss him terribly still.. BUT I had a kitten appear in my yard about a month later.. and he adopted me..lol took him to clinic at humane society to be fixed..looked at cats when we were picking him up.. saw the most beautiful 12 yr old cat who had just lost his mommy and had to have a bunch of teeth removed.. you guessed it.. we brought him home!
but we knew he could have further health issues.. and he was OLD.. knew no one else would want to take that on.. but honestly… even though he didn’t look anything like my furbaby who had passed, he was about the same age, and he was BIG like the cat that had passed… I figured.. you know what? I’m gonna go into this knowing he may not have long, but I’m gonna give him the best golden years I could..
the first few months he had NIGHTMARES.. it was awful to watch.. he was pretty withdrawn.. but I kept at it day after day.. I’m happy to say hes a happy kitty now… but then he got sick with diabetes! I’m diabetic.. so I knew how important it would be to get him on a grain free diet ect.. insulin can be tricky with cats and they can go into remisson.. so I opted to try diet control.. happy to say its working so far.. and hes doing very well. yesI monitor his sugars though he hates it lol.
I was telling you this story because I just wanted to say.. I’m sure you’ve given your frubaby a great life..and that all any of us can do.. our furbabies are just that, our BABIES.. and I pray that yours gets better.. but if he don’t please take comfort in you did all you could, and that you gave him the best life you could.. it sucks that they don’t have long lives..and it hurts terrible when theey have to go.
.I chose to honor my Stalker by taking in an older cat, problems and all, and give him the best life I could..yes it will hurt when he goes too.. hes 13 now.. ive had him one year..and no regrets at all .. none.. he has given me so much in return! I don’t know who was luckier, him or me lol
I do hope your furbaby is doing better..HUGS!

did you all know that using a stove or blender that the apples from the fall fest trees can be used in recipes to make orchard foods?
so far ive used candy apple, red apple, and yellow in stove and blender to make
SWEET ORCHARD CIDER AND SWEET ORCHARD JAM.
don’t have any other apples yet waiting to harvest to see what other combinations make.I saw that you could do this on the front ww news where you can click to see new things..i almost missed it and haven’t seen it on webkinz newz..
ok then I noticed that other foods are now recipe foods.. like the eclairs from the lala room in clubhouse.. not sure how to combo those, but they can be used in recipes! also the jam jars from jumbleberry machines..again no clue combos. also noticed a lot of other foods that are given out by dispensers seem to be able to go into recipes too.. fouond by accident scrolling through foods with stove open..
anyone know anything about this?
