zingy – thanks again for bailing me out here! i took kids to school, then had to pick up dh taking his car for service, and he had a long list of errands that he took the day off to do, so we’ve been running around – beautiful weather again – i guess the calm before the storm … and now Irma has a friend Jose, but hopefully he will stay out at sea!

Good morning! Thank you for posting the codes and info about the fall fest prizes! I have had very little time to play the last couple days. We’ve had our big robotics kick off this week, and I’m the recruiting mentor for the team, so I’ve been super busy with that and my sick kitty. Working on unlocking the free fall fest soda code on all the various free accounts I have. Good news is I have enough road side stands to finish a yard I am working on. Bad news is after roughly 25 free accounts only one maple dipped apple seed set. Greetings from Florida!! So yeah the path has moved and now they are saying it will make landfall about 2 hours south of me. Starting to think maybe we should’ve evacuated, but oh well too late now lol. We have a strong house, boarded up windows, and lots of supplies. We will be fine. I’m sure we will lose power. I gotta get my apple pickin done while I can lol.

get it up! gas cans……..hooch…….if you are not drinking you can trade. meds for you and your pets…….deck of cards, board games, puzzles, books in paper………..freeze bottles of water or bags of ice (water is better as you can drink it) freeze it in any container you have…….clean and fill your bathtub for water,,,,,,,fill fill fill fill fill…………worst case, you can flush…which you need to limit……..sorry about that one, but it is truth….go outside if you can

Dee, the seeds are from the fall fest soda community code they gave out on Webkinz Newz. The new seeds are the Maple Dipped Apple Seeds and the rest are from last year (candy apple and golden delicious, I think…) The code gives out other new fall fest soda prizes too, just not the grand prize. (BOO!)

I haven’t put any soda codes in yet but collected apples on all my accounts last night. Put up six at a time using Chrome it took several hours, they seemed to be on a six or seven minute schedule. It was 14 minutes before I saw the first one but was doing dailies on the accounts as I logged into them so likely missed some and reset the timer. Once I got done with the dailies left the account on the newspaper page. Was on from about midnight to 4 am. Have no idea how many I have of anything. Seemed to be more pie than anything else.

Hi everyone! I hope you’ve had a good weekend. To friends in Florida, my thoughts are with you all. I hope you are ok! One of my closest friends in the world lives in Clearwater, and I’m thinking of him and his wife and son. This forum is definitely not a priority under the circumstances, but please check in and let us know how you’re doing when you have the chance.
Shelly – Happy anniversary! I’m glad you enjoyed It. My husband and I are planning to see it. He loves horror films. I generally don’t, but I don’t mind seeing them with him. I will probably bury my face in his arm through half of it, but he doesn’t mind. At our local theater, there is an “adult” section up top. You have to be 21 to sit up there. They serve dinner and drinks of the adult variety. We like it because there are no screaming kids and it’s usually a mature crowd (no kids talking or teens on cell phones during the movie). It’s also a pretty small section. We don’t go to the movies often, but when we do, we almost always splurge on the adult section. I think the last movie we saw was Split, which we both liked. “It” will probably be our next date night movie. 🙂
I had a little time to play Webkinz today but not much. My husband and I are running new electric lines and adding electric heating to an addition in our house. We live in an old farm house, which we’re renovating. The addition in the back has a laundry room, den, foyer, large bedroom, and full bathroom. When the addition was put in, which was before we purchased it, it was not constructed well. There was very little heat in that part of the house because the HVAC was a mess, the electric was done poorly, and the plumbing was a disaster. We’ve had our pipes freeze and bust twice in the laundry room, which has damaged all the drywall and carpet. So we gutted the entire addition, had new plumbing designed and installed by a master plumber. We’ve had all new HVAC run. And my husband and I are doing all the electric and construction. We got our laundry room up and running last fall, but our pipes froze. So this summer, we have been running new electric lines and we have 5 new electric heaters back there, so now the addition will run on electric heat primarily, while the rest of the house still runs on proprane. Our goal is to sell this old house and have a new one built, but we have so much work to do on it before we can even consider selling it. Oh, and we’ve installed new windows and a new door. Meh… so much work. And the really depressing part is, all this time I’m sinking into my real house, I could be putting into designing Webkinz rooms! But no… I have to actually work on my real house, which isn’t nearly as much fun. 🙁
At any rate, I did get to log in a little bit this weekend to some side accounts with the fall fest codes. I would agree with Littlefish. I’m not going to disclose how many side accounts I have (because it’s embarrassing), but I would submit that the maple dipped seeds and gophers are quite rare (roughly 1-2 per 25 accounts). Most of the awards on my accounts were last year’s prizes, and a lot were candy apple and golden delicious seeds, so no complaints. I love seeds! But no fall fest bridges (grand prize) with the code.
I have won some of the new apple clothes, but I have not seen a single mouse plushie! I want the mouse! But there is still plenty of time. Once this whole fall fest ordeal is over, I will tally what I have and offer my extras to others. Especially those of you who cannot log in due to extreme weather, no worries. We got yur back when it comes to virtual online items! Except the bridge, maybe. I haven’t even seen it yet.

turned on weather channel a bit ago and atlanta was the news…….so hope all are well……..then it makes a beeline here….only four inches or so of rain, but we are still soggy from harvey, so trees may go……..farmers were out like mad today harvesting corn………..bumper crop by the way……..i did get some more frozen oj……….and figured out why they said sugar shortage…….the carribbean!…………..poor folks are lost out there with all the US news….

YD was chattering away in the car on the way home from Library Club. Her US History class covered 9/11 today, they showed a film about it which contained the towers falling and an interview with a CNN news reporter from the time. The teacher asked if anyone had been to the memorial, one girl in the class indicated she had been. Then shortly after that she burst out crying, turns out the poor kid lost her much older step sister that day. YD was upset about the video. They had talked about it before of course but not to the extent they did today, her poor classmate getting exposed to that in school. She had been to the memorial so would of been more aware than the others, none of who had been born yet, but I do wonder as it was two years ago her family might have kept some of those details from her.

9/11 was such a surreal day. So many heroes who lost their lives. It makes me grateful for those who work on making sure it never happens again.
I voted for RubyCubes with all of my accounts including helper accounts yesterday and today. I also read the comments on WKN regarding who people were planning to vote for and saw that it was well-liked. Fingers and toes crossed for tomorrow (when they’ll announce the winners). 🙂
